I thought it'd be interesting, at least. I've hit a few walls when it comes to her history. The easy thing would be to just cop-out and make everything very vague, which I don't like very much. Like I said, I'm trying to work stuff out.
It's been so long since I've done one of these detailed character profiles. Generally I have the stuff in my head, floating around incohesively. Grabbing everything and trying to put things in order into text is not something I'm used to.
Out of curiosity, when we start, what will the in-game date be?
An aside: I wonder when they'll implement the new forum posting software onto guilds...

The in-game starting date's going to be around mid-March to early April. Beware the Ides of March, and all that jazz.
And feel free to take your time on this; I want every character to be top-notch.

AEDIFICIUM
NAME: Elly De Facto
AGE: 22
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY: There are people in this world who are constantly cheerful because they see the beauty in little things, or are content with their lot, or in love. Elly is cheerful because she's insane. If delirium is the ego trying to sustain childlike delight under any circumstance, then Elly is the sweetest sociopath you've ever met.
At first take, Elly seems wide-eyed, kind, intelligent, and innocent, and in a strange way she is. It seems like she disassociates herself completely from anything she does. There are moments of clarity, when she seems to stop looking out from behind glass, but those instances are few and far between and cause her horrible physical and emotional pain. There seems to be a connection between those moments and nursery rhymes.
APPEARANCE: Elly is blue-eyed, 5'4', and slender, but you would hardly notice it when she is swimming in a white lab coat three sizes too big for her. It's a bit odd, but enhances her child-like appearance. She has long, black hair with a blunt mod bang cut that hoods slightly over her eyes and plump, abnormaly red lips. She tends to chew on them when confused or thinking.
Elly has one more noteable feature obscured by her lab coat, slacks, and gloves. Her whole body is etched in blessed Thai tattoos.
MEMORIA
HISTORY: Elly grew up with parents affiliated with the rebel faction against CHOIR. Due to their obsession with staying 'under the radar', she had a very unconventional childhood, being passed from one strange locale to the next. Because of this she learned a lot about localized religions, rituals, and taboos.
One tribe that her parents integrated with in Thailand gave the family tattoos that would protect them from their future. Unfortunately, they didn't protect her body, they protected her mind...
CHOIR captured her parents and several others in the current cell they were staying at in South America when she was fifteen. While in the holding cells, she watched each of her friends and family taken off one by one to be interrogated. No one ever came back. Over almost two years she witnessed too much. Elly kept her mind busy by drawing everything she remembered. Diagrams, spells, equations, incantations, astrological charts, and theories. It wasn't long before CHOIR noticed her unique insight, intelligence, and inability to censure anything she does.
By making her a deal, they secured her loyalty. Hitler needed an Occult Expert. So does CHOIR.
POSITION: Head Occultist, Director of Ethics and Experimentation
REASON: She gets anything she wants by doing anything she wants to do. Because of Elly they had to hire extra janitors. They seem to keep quitting...

OTHER: Elly has currently been trying to resurrect the dead using tattooed body suits. She did succeed once. Sort of.

Alright, another profile!
Hujing: I like it. You've packed some detail into the minimum amount I've asked for, and I have to commend you for it. There were a few little typos here and there (such as "ressurect" instead of "resurrect"), but I think it's good. You've added a level of decadence to CHOIR that I never thought about, and it's headed up by a sociopath to boot; I like that.
The fifth sentence of the Appearance field is an awkward sentence, though; what it would really benefit from is some tightening and the placement of the subject at the beginning instead of appearing in the third clause.
This is just a nitpick: It's always CHOIR, in all caps. Otherwise, I'd say you're accepted.
stratigo: I've noticed that you've corrected the font issue, but I'd like to ask before going over it again: Is it prepared for another whirl in my Review-o-matic?
freakylittleone: Is your application ready for another review, too?
I'm sorry it's taking me so long to get to these, and I'm sorry that I've actually forgotten some of you, but I'm getting busier by the day, it seems; try to bear with me, and we'll have this thing going in no time.

Kou: I like her, she's pretty interesting (especially the rationale for the sex change).
I've got a question: Is her disaffection a result of her upbringing? It seems implied, but I may be missing a more concrete connection. Either way, you're accepted.
Hujing: xd I might allow Dreams, but only if the character's accepted. Maybe we could make one for each character and do a little comic on the side? "Commedius ex machina: Fun out of the machine!"

If stratigo and freakylittleone are ready for another review, then I believe we could start. Otherwise, I'd like at least one male(-ish) character for the rebels, and then I'll start up the RP thread.
And I think I'm going to divide it into Acts and Scenes, since that ought to help with making summaries and moving the plot along.
