charis laughed, "we'll just go my way!" "what 'way'?" zinc asked.
"the natural way! listen, from here, there is a link of forests that lead to NYC that belong to pan. if we go that way, then zinc won't have to worry as much about falling into water!"
"hey!"
"oo! i just got an even better idea! kery, kalkara and zinc will go together by sea and i could go to NYC throught the forest link thing."
"NO!" kery said, "you need to come with us if salan - "
"kery," charis boomed, "im not his friggin mother! zinc has to learn to be brave on his own and acquire his powers on his own, just as i did."
zinc was confused, "but you promised to help me with my powers! you said - " charis interrupted him, "i said i'd train you, not be your mother! you have to stand on your own two feet, like a brave warrior. you need to protect all humanity, zinc, i cant be on the sidelines, i only give you what you need not what you want. needs are more than wants, now BYE!" charis disappeared, zinc was left alone with kery and kalkara. sofia left with charis. "now what?" kalkara asked. "to the ocean! i guess..." zinc muttered.

Kalkara startyed talking."First we need a boat..."no boat."then what are we going to sail on?"not sail.ride."Hippocampus? aw sweet!..."ok kery lets not get too excited... they are very proud creatures. charis continued walking through the forest, wondering how zinc was, then she remembered that she had an empathy link with him, so he looked throught his eyes without him noticing and saw what he was doing. 'hippocampi,' she tought, 'smart.' she was almost halfway to NYC and sighed. "i hope he knows what he's doing. please, poseidon, protect him as well as you can!" she prayed to the sea god as she walked on. it was too easy.

charis felt like she was forgetting something, but what? 'that satyr... is he looking for Father?? if so, i'll help him... somehow...' charis wondered. "hey!" a male satyr yelled. charis turned around, "yes?"
"you're charis, pan's - "
"daughter. right."
"can i - you know...talk to you?"
"sure!"
charis and the satyr walked on. "i havent introduced myself, so i'm grover underwood. i'm a searcher looking for pan." charis looked disappointed, "can we talk about something besides my past? my life was terrible then."
"oh, sorry."
"it's okay...really, a lot of people do that. now - why are you here?"
"i told you, i want to talk."
"says your voice, whats on your mind and in your heart?"
"well...i really like your meadow and - "
"YOU FOUND MY MEADOW? how?"
"i just - used a path song and it was about the domain of pan, so i - found the domain of pan which was your meadow..."
"impressive."
"uh...charis..." sofia gulped, "salan is planning something and youre beind led into his trap..."
charis looked at her mother. she and grover stopped where they were while grover just looked at charis, wanting her to find a plan...and soon...

"ive got a plan!" charis breathed, "listen to me, grover. i need you to get away from me, stay away from me as much as possible! i know that you want to find pan and i REALLY want to help you. and this is how ill help you. stay away from me, please. i really l-love you and i want you to live to find pan and i support that...but - " charis felt pain in her heart and fell down. she transformed into her dark self unwillingly and roared, "RAAAAAR!! This is what i mean, grover! stay away from me! RAAAAR!" grover ran as charis got a tree branch and tried to stab herself in the heart, but couldnt...why?

CHARIS!!!!!"what what im right behind you seaweed brain..."uhhh... *points at manticore*"oh."lets go "the council is waiting."what about the manticore?"thats also what i meant when i said `get ready`"time to go to the 400th floor of the empire state building, not get killed by a manticore and the chimera."easy enough"yeah. right."

but, charis wasnt really with zinc at the moment. that was - well i dunno who! charis was really at olympus right now. she sensed what was happening and hissed, "that doppelganger, that screwball!!!! i'll ******** kill him if i had the chance!" "calm down, charis. we need to see if zinc can find out that easily." poseidon explained. charis nodded and bowed.
"i'll go to see 'brother', if i may please."
poseidon nodded and let her go. charis walked through olympus and she found who she needed to find. her "brother" aka the ophiotaurus. he mooed with delight. charis laid her warm hand on the cold glass of her "brother"'s aquarium and the ophiotaurus laid his nose on the glass where charis' hand was. grover trotted up to charis and saw her with the ophiotaurus. "so," grover said, "you and the ophiotaurus are...really good friends?"
"yes. when i was little, his spirit would take care of me. he taught me the different personalities of the world."
"and why did he take care of you, exactly?"
"because he wanted to have a friend, and so did i."
"but - "
charis left the aquarium to her secret room on olympus.
zinc, kalkara and kery walked through new york with charis (the fake one) and zinc asked her about western civilization. but at the same time, he felt that something was wrong with charis. she didnt feel the same and she was just missing that gentle, yet strict aura within her eyes. kery was the first to notice, "uh, charis are you okay?" "sure," she replied,smiling, "i'm fine."
"good, because in my opinion, you usually love to cause chaos."
"OH YEAH!!"
"kery cleverly smiled, "isnt that right, eris?"
charis (the fake one) stopped smiling and turned into her true form, she was eris, the goddess of chaos. her hair was a wild dark black and her eyes were the same, yet full of such chaos you'd think her eyes were red. she was so beautiful, yet had that savage, of course, chaotic feeling like you just want to smash something. "i've been looking for you for a long time, zinc. now its my time to shine!" eris yelled. this goddess was ready to fight.

when charis was in her secret room, she got out her book on greek mythology that she corrected. she read her corrected mythology in ease and someone knocked on her door. she smelled who it was and opened the door. "hi, charis," said grover, "i'm really sorry about - "
"no, grover. th-thats okay! really i-"
"no, let me tell you something!"
"oh, okay."
"but, if you want to say something, you say it first!"
"no, you just say it!"
"okay, charis, i - er...don't know how to say this but, i really love you. i want to prove myself worthy to you by finding your father, pan."
charis turned away and smiled. she walked up to grover and told him to kneel. he did. "by the power vested in me, i, charis alithes kardia, shall bless thee, grover underwood, with a powerful charm of strength, confidence, nobility and wisdom! do you accept this, sir underwood?"
"yes, yes i do!"
charis kissed his forhead. they both blushed maroon and got up. grover and charis just stared at eachother as if they were both medusa turning eachother into stone except without the pained faces. sofia saw what happened and cooed, "AWWW! my little baby is in wuv!!! isnt that so cute?" sofia gave charis a noogie. "c'mon mom! you're embarressing me!" charis laughed. grover smiled and got charis up.
zinc stared at the manticore and asked, "what the bloody hell are you doing?" "helping you!" replied the beast.
"why?"
"because if thanatos is here for someone, it will be kalkara!"
kalkar was in shock, "WHAT? this guy is- wait. youre the manticore so - YOU are steven???"
"yes! you took my cookie in second grade and for that, i will never forgive you!"
kalkara sighed, "um, here's your cookie back." kalkara pulled out a rotten chocolate chip cookie from his bag and handed it to steven the manticore. steven gobbled it in delight. thanatos looked at his watch. "okay...where IS he?" thanatos asked, "he should be here now!"
"who?" kery asked.
"some mortal dude. oh! not zinc! some guy called - oh whats his face...jack...jack living... jack livingston! oh yeah! i almost forgot! he's all ready dead, so there was no point in coming here! so long, suckers!" thanatos disappeared. eris was in shock, "okay, NOW we fight!"

I am not meddlin` with zinc`s affairs."what ever fish breath..."what did you call me?!"uh... mint breath! yeah mint breath!see ya mint breath!"
"eris you are going down!"thank the gods ozzyoditos is here!"thissssss wont be a fair fight if I dont join."salan!"yes its me salan."so now its a fair fight? salan the chimera, and eris against kery,zinc,kalkara,and ozzyosditos. your team is immortal . mine isnt. except ozzy os ditos

"where's charis?" zinc asked out of nowhere. salan laughed, "imprisoned in a torturous sanctuary!!!"
"thats illogical. how can it be safe AND full of torture?"
"i dunno, but let's just get this over with!"
salan and eris were ready. ozzyoditos whispered to zinc, "i'll go after eris. i never liked her anyways." zinc nodded. kery went with ozzyoditos because he was immortal too. so now, it was zinc and kalkara vs salan and ozzyoditos and kery vs eris.
well, salan WAS right. charis IS imprisoned in wherever he said she'd be. and the torture part, well... you dont really want to know. charis wasnt exactly as you'd say, "imprisoned". she wasnt in a dungeon or anything, she was still in olympus and she refused to open her eyes. as much as grover would beg, she wouldnt. now, let me explain what salan meant by "being imprisoned in a torturous sanctuary". the sanctuary was olympus, so she was okay. the imprisonment-torture part, she could only see people in xray vision (not skeleton xray, NO CLOTHES XRAY) and...lets just say she is freaked out from seeing grover naked. "c'mon, lady charis," grover pleaded, "open your eyes! i have my clothes on!" "but...i like being blind! now just, go on with your life like the good goat-boy you are! c'mon! go on!" charis cooed.
"charis, it's okay, i know your not a perv!"
"well, thats not your problem! so go now."
"no!"
"yes! grover goes byebye!!!!"
"NO!!!"
"GROVER-GO-BYEBYE!!!!!"
and this continued for some time...now back to zinc!
zinc pulled out his weapon. kalkara got his fangs ready. and salan...was staring at a picture of sofia to motivate himself...O_o...okay! salan charged at kalkara and kalkara whacked his face. salan disappeared and transported himself behind zinc. zinc countered. salan attacked, zinc countered, salan attacked, zinc countered, etc. kalkara soon knew that salan was distracted with zinc and must've forgotten about him, so kalkara snuck behind salan and roared. salans ears bled and he fell, turning back into his normal form. zinc pointed his sword at salans heart. "you're good, kid. but i will get you to join kronos. he will finally know that i am worthy of his skill! but, i have a feeling that i should help you for some reason. oh well, i'll just have to make you do one thing for me. get charis out of her prison! i dont know how much longer - " salan was interrupted by a flash of light. where salan laid, stood a tiger sized beast. it looked a lot like kalkara, except much bigger and his fur was purple and his eyes were red. he had cat-like ears and the fangs of a lion. this brute walked up to zinc. zinc backed away. "is this another one of your old friends, kalkara?" zinc asked. the monster's voice sounded nobly young, "kalkara?" kalkara and the monster stared at one another, as if to see if they remembered eachother. they smiled. "its been a millenium, daimon. why are you here? is it about charis?" kalkara asked. "yes," the monster known as daimon replied, "this is zinc, i am correct?"
"yes."
"zinc, do not fear me, though many people DO. i am the daimonas agkelos, please, call me daimon. i am salan's son, if you are wondering. i was turned into what i am now because salan disgraced the gods, so his curse was him and i being hideous. salan's heart became tainted while my characteristics and beauty were tainted. i am a friend of charis and i know where she is. she is in no dungeon, she still is on mt olympus, but she - as you young mortals now say, 'aint lookin pretty'. *daimon hesitated while trying to say that, so it sounded kinda weird* i wish to accompany you in helping her regain her wits. it is not like her for this to happen. but anyways, may i accompany you?"
zinc thought about it and said yes.
