Grym chuckles as he places a hand on the hilt of the Katana on his belt, walking towards the exit of the town.
"Well, I think we should get going before we overstay our welcome. When you go about toting a title like 'Master of Blades' you tend to end up getting people challenging you constantly."

"Oh, really?" Mel says breathlessly. "What happened, Mr. ... Lexenos, was it?" Mel began to bat her eyelashes at Lexenos at this point of the conversation.

Grym chuckles and thumps Lexenos on the back lightly.
"Oh lighten up! Well, what ended up happening was a quick lesson in humility for them. Oh, and a lesson in manners. I assume that they'll be in the local jail right about now."

Lexenos opens his mouth to say "I thought you killed them," But closes it before he says anything, deciding that there's probably a good reason Grym didn't mention their deaths.

Grym smiles slightly to Lexenos, giving him a quick wink before turning and beginning to walk again.
"Alright you two, let's get moving. We've got a lot of space to cover, and I'd prefer to do it by daylight. The nights around here are dangerous."

At the mention of danger, Mel's fox ears go completely flat. "Oh, umm..." Mel starts nervously, "Dangerous? How dangerous?" She begins to shy a little closer to the two men, obviously frightened and the thought of thugs, monsters, and/or thug monsters.

As soon as Grym mentions Lex staying close to Mel, her ears perk right back up."Will you really?" Mel says innocently, her tail positively wagging back and forth with glee.

Lexenos gives Grym a strange look, one that says "Why did you hafta say that, huh?" but says nothing. He completely ignores Mel's inquiry, hoping once again the stupid girl will shut up and leave him alone.

"Yes Mel, he'll stay close to you. After all, if what I'm sensing from you is correct, you're a white mage. Therefore, you'll need someone to handle the melee fighting while you cast your spells."

"Alright, alright. I'll stick close, okay?!" Lexenos replies somewhat angrily, even as a hint of a smile hovers around his mouth. "Let's just get to wherever we're staying tonight. I'm starting to get tired."
