Irame, who had been doing her best to be quite and inconspicuous, felt quite compelled to say something at the mention of a man who claimed to know what happened. She didn’t, however, feel the need to interrupt Kenth and Alex, who seemed quite content to be with simply one another and forget about her. Well it didn’t really matter to her, as she could still do things without talking.
She stood as well, as quietly as she could, so that the two could ignore her if they so wanted, and looked towards where Alex had motioned. Alex had said it talked, so it was intelligent, and it looked like a man, so that narrowed down the list, and effectively knocked off each idea that she had had. Carronel couldn’t talk and looked more like wolves, babau looked far too gaunt and dripped and had spikes instead of hair, and vilewrights had no lower torsos and could use negative energy to move their intestines and strangle victims.
Irame mentally went down a list in her mind. Erinyes, maybe? It would be strange, but who knew? She shook her head. She was being ridiculous. It was probably just a normal person, not a demon or undead, who simply wanted to help people. She really needed to be less suspicious…

To be honest, Ka had no idea what to think about everything that had happened to them while they were lost in the forest - especially the last few hours which had been spent with Alex. He wondered just what the strange man purpose here really was. Because something about him didn't seem quite right. For his part ... Ka wasn't inclined to trust him implicitly, despite the fact that he had led them out.
At any rate, though, it had been a very long few days, and Ka was more than happy to be back with other people. He returned Alex's smile with a small one of his own. Then he squeezed Far's hand, as the other had pretty much permanently attached himself to Ka, and started heading toward Herei, moving carefully through the sleeping camp.
Once there, he leaned over and placed a hand on the man's shoulder, shaking him gently. "Herei ... wake up ..." he said softly.

"I'm awake," Herei said jovially enough, turning over to smile at Ka'hmesh. "Welcome back, boys. I knew you'd make it." He sat up as though he hadn't been sleeping at all, brushing his hair over his shoulder as he glanced around the camp. It seemed they had managed to come back without waking anyone up, although--ah. The woman was with the doctor, that was good. Irame was awake, but if she was anything like Dante, the man doubted she was really sleeping...or that Dante was asleep, for that matter.
He pushed himself to his feet, brushing out his garments thoughtfully as he looked over the two. They looked well, just tired, and that was a great sign to the Advisor. "I'm so happy to see you two back! But," his eyes lingered on Ka'hmesh for a moment, "I'd like you both to see the doctor after we conclude our business." Herei looked back over to Alex and Kenth, where he noticed she was motioning to the forest. "It seems we have company to tend to first."

Ka had been sort of hiding his injured wrist behind his back so Herei wouldn't ask about it or anything ... as he didn't want to worry anyone else. He nodded at the direction to see the doctor though, biting his lip just slightly. So far as he knew, doctors tended to prod and poke at things, whether they needed poking at or not. Which meant more pain ...
Ah, well. It probably did need to be looked at by a real doctor at some point, anyway. With a bit of a yawn, he glanced from the strange man to the rest of the people sleeping, wondering what they should do now. Would they be allowed in on whatever meeting the adults were having or ...

Farlest had been unusually quiet this entire time. Naturally he'd wanted to pepper their 'guide' of before with questions...find out just who he was and what he wanted as well as a variety of other things. But he hadn't...he'd been strangely silent, almost glued to Ka's side...or Alex's, and definitely Ka now that Alex was off talking to the doctor.
In his opinion they just needed to kiss and make up already.
He listened intently to Herei, before mustering up a smile. "Take care of what you need to, we'll be around, not going anywhere, after all." Far grimaced...yeah...already had one adventure, thanks all the same.
Glancing up at Ka'hmesh, Farlest very suddenly wrapped his arms around the other's waist, burying his face in the other's clothing. In truth he was a bit shaken up...and though he'd tried so very hard to be cheerful...to persevere in the forest before...now he was just...well they'd almost DIED for crying out loud? And god knew just what else they might run into. He still wanted to help...but what was he going to do if something happened to Ka, or Alex? Or any one of his newfound friends?

Ka blinked, startled out of his own thoughts when he found that he suddenly had a Farlest more or less pasted to over half his body. Without even really thinking about it, he wrapped arms about the other in turn, his good hand rubbing gently at a shoulder.
He stayed that way for a few minutes or so, just being there ... touching and holding, before murmuring, "Far ... are you all right?" He didn't think the other boy was hurt or anything, but there could be something beyond the physical wrong. Though he was curious about the stranger, another part of him really wanted nothing to do with it. That part of him wanted to go and find someplace to hide and just ... sort of forget all of this had ever happened. Oh, and if he could, he'd take Far with him.

Herei had started to walk away when the two hugged, but he paused and turned to regard them for a moment. While he didn't want to ruin the time that the two were sharing, there were still things to be done. "If you two want to sleep for a bit, please, do so. If not...please start awakening the others. I have a feeling we wont be here much longer." He gave the affectionate duo a friendly smile, walking halfway between Alex and the forest while he waited.
Now, it was time to see if the knowledge he'd been keeping to himself was ready to be shared.

Rylenn hadn't slept that night at all. He was curled in a ball off to the side. He shouldn't of come. He was lonely and felt.. well.. sick. He had hidden most of the night, but then he had moved to a place where he could be seen, but he wouldn't be bothered. He looked at the ground and played with it with a stick, drawing then erasing whatever he wrote.
He hadn't written some pleasant things.
He stood and wiped the fresh tears and looked at the people who were stirring. He saw the students. They had returned... and they were consoling each other. So he was out. He sighed and sat back down, looking at the ground.
"You're my only friend, ground."

It was a long, silent moment before he answered, nodding slowly before looking up at the other. "I...I'm all right...I just, I don't want to lose anyone, and I'm scared that we might." His fingers drifted to Ka's arm, "You were hurt...but you might have been killed...I don't know what I'd do if something worse happened to you."
He smiled sheepishly, "You're important to me." Farlest admitted, sort of attaching himself to Ka's good arm. He knew that the other didn't really mind...and that they wanted to mutually protect one another.
Sharp gaze glancing about, he noticed that they weren't the only ones close by...there was another student there as well...who was already awake. Farlest had seen him earlier, but couldn't remember his name, wasn't even sure if they'd been introduced.
He looked rather down. It was understandable, considering the circumstances, but...

Ka followed Far's gaze after a moment, blinking slightly at Rylenn. He didn't remember the boy's name either but something in Ka's nature wanted to comfort ... as much as he'd been doing for Farlest lately.
Moving, he headed over toward the other boy, crouching down. "Hey ... I don't remember if we ever got introduced. I'm Ka'hmesh," he said quietly. He was also sort of thinking that they could use some help waking everyone else up. And that might give this other boy something to do too, to take his mind off things.

Rylenn looked at him for a long moment before standing. He dusted himself off slowly in that slow, sexy way of his. Even when he was upset he was something to behold. He looked at Ka and took the hand. "Rylenn. I'm going to take a guess and say you two were the students who had me worried so." He offered a slight, weak smile. He looked from left to right before wiping his face. Tears were dropping but he didn't want anyone to really notice that. His head tilted down and he wiped once more.
"I'm glad you're both okay."

Audun was impressed, honestly, to see Alex and the two boys return to the group like no time had past and they hadn't been suffering out in the woods alone. Of course he wouldn't admit it, so instead he stayed to the side and generally away from all the emoting people as he felt it could be contagious.
"Hhm..."

Farlest had been right alongside Ka, and he offered the other a bright smile, "I'm Farlest." It was softer than his usual and not quite as enthusiastic, but that was not due to Rylenn, but instead to his own recent experience. Padding up without a word, he spontaneously gave the other boy a hug. It was his way of doing things, and he could sense that the other was upset.
"Thanks...it's nice to know that people were worried about us." Releasing the other, so as not to make him uncomfortable, wide emerald eyes blinked up at the other boy, awaiting a reply, already knowing that Ka was close at hand. This situation was comfortable for him...and he instinctively wanted to help.

Wei stayed where he lay, listening to all that was around. To be truthful, the moment Alex stepped back into their little camp, all he wanted to do was get up and hug/scold Alex for a little bit. That would be out of character for him so instead he just sighed in relief into Rui's back. He pondered how Rylenn was doing for a big before decided everything would be fine. Upon hearing Professor Herei's words he sat up. The whole group was complete, it was best if they started moving soon. He stood and stretched, daily habits getting to best of him as he went to go do his morning exercises.

Ka nodded in agreement with Far's words, but he didn't get any closer to Rylenn or try to hug him like the other boy had. It just wasn't his way, normally ... Far was different, somehow. He'd gotten past all his defenses in a relatively short amount of time ...
Glancing around, Ka saw some others starting to move around, but not everyone. "Rylenn," he said after a moment. "We're supposed to be getting everyone else up, do you want to help too?" He offered it as a distraction, as something to do ... not in any way trying to force the other though.
