-When someone in band gives you a nickname, you replace your name with it. Permanantly. (I hope that never happened to anyone. xO; )
-Your parents don't bother coming to your concerts because, in great detail, you have told them EVERY aspect of EVERY song you're playing, beginning to end. Even the repeats, the notes, and what each part sounds like.

you know your a band nerd when:
-you dont let anybody touch your instrument stare
-you hate the choir(thats a thing we have at our school, anybody else?)
-you have and still practice your music from 4 years ago sweatdrop
-you try to make all your friends join band and play your instrument sweatdrop
-you want to have a room for your instrument all to itself and to practice it
-when you join this guild
-when you lick your instrument(my friend does that. eeww)

You enter a duel to the death with an orchestra member to defend the honor of band against the heathens. (I've done this. The guy was a violinist, and I was winning until a drama kid came up and we formed an alliance against him xd )

Masquanade You know you're a band nerd when you dressed up in your old band uniform as your halloween costume. I didn't do it . . . but someone else did sweatdrop We did a trick or treat thing for little kids at our school, and we had the drummers be zombie drummers. Old uniform, broken sticks going through heads, etc.

--When you call your girlfriend and start talking about the band
--When you suggest "Chuckie Cheese's" as you band farwell dinner
--When you master the art of the "Purple Nirple"
--When you bother to critisize other bands.

Except...licking my instrument. I kind of don't do that because as much as I love my flute, that's a little out of the way. xD -Back in elementary school, when you didn't have the uniforms, you'd color-coordinate with your instrument at every concert, despite what your BD says. -You bid your instrument goodnight soulfully.

when you save every little thing, reed, box, handout, drill, music, your band director's crap..........and lamanate it....and put it into a scrapbook..........

When you look up pictures of your instrament for fun and make collages of pics of all your friends instraments. (guilty sweatdrop )

[size=24]You know your a band geek when your walking through the mall with a group of friends and you are trying to stay in step with them and roll stepping without even realizing it. I have done that ever since my rookie year and never realized it until my band geek friends noticed it and told me. (I know they are band geeks because they were subcontiously doing the same thing). rofl

you know your a band nerd when you are walking down the street and cannot stand to be out of step with other people. This happens to me and my friendsand drives them crazy especialy the ones who are not in marching band.[removed]emoticon(' blaugh ')
