*WARNING!!! SPIDER-MAN 3 RANT AHEAD*
I saw the movie last week...I liked it but found it as the worst of the 3 Spidey movies. Now, I love the Spidey movies. I know not everyone does but I do. I think Spidey 2 is the best super-hero movie made. So this is where I coming from.
Going in, I thought the idea of Venom was a bad one for the movie. I was of the opinion that There should have been no Venom and Spidey's villians shoulda have been GG 2 and Sandman. If they wanted to do the black suit saga, Peter shoulda gotten the suit near the beginning of the film and ditched it at the end and we NEVER see Venom in the movie. Maybe a flash after Brock is taken. But they did it their way.
I thought it was rushed and had too many villians and too much story in the movie. Now why did it happen.....well here's what I think. Douchebag Venom fans. It's not Raimi's fault or Arad's.....it's douchebag Venom fans' fault. These fanboy/girls got online and clamored for Venom. I saw some of that on threads on here. Avi Arad gets online and says, "Wow! They really want Venom. But Sam hates Venom....maybe I can convince him.' Arad then goes and 'convinces' Raimi to include Venom. Now in Hollywood speak, 'convinces' really means forces. Raimi now is forced to include a villian he hates. So he rushes the story and Venom comes out weak and who bitches online? Douchbag Venom fans. Ugh....rant done.

They already introduced the character, just have a plot circled areound him trying to get his arm back.

Rumor, so you can take it with a grain of salt... but I heard that Raimi didn't want Venom in the movie until he saw the CG they could do with him. Then he decided that Venom "needed" to be in there.
