"It's a very elaborate process," Cy says, "The whole ceremony lasts for weeks. Generally, all the citizens of the correct age have the ceremony done at the same time. It begins when the inductees are made to perform various feats of bravery. After they've been proven, each inductee has a small gold ring put in their right brow ridge. That's also when they're given a second name. The second name is supposed to be a representation of the inductee's specific abilities or reputation in the village."

Well I don't know if it'll be the same thing but since I think we'll be traveling together for a while we could have you go through that type of ceremony. After all both of us our exiles and I bet the bard there would prefere to stay from most civilized places long enough to be spotted as a wanted criminal, so what's the difference if you go the ceremony here instead of with them.

Besides, you wouldn't be able to get the proper equipment for the piercing. Dragonhide is very tough, and the brow ridges are mostly bone. It would break almost anything but diamond."

Well we don't need to do the exact ceremony being outcasts like we are. I think something else signifying your adult status would surffice until we can get said material to piece your brow.

"I appreciate the thought, but it's not necessary. The ceremony is only used among my village, and they will never even see me as one of them as long as I'm still branded as an outsider. I doubt anybody else will try to argue with me about my age if they saw me. The prejudices about my people can be a pain, but they have occasional uses." Cy admits.

True but you at least deserve a second name Cy, after all how would the wanted posters look like with just Cy written on them..

Like I said you need a good second name, especialy if we get angry mobs chasing us. Take me for example Valient Shadowing is something you could hear being chanted as peasents with pitchforks come after you but just plain Cy, that doesn't work.

Well overthrowing the goverment is a pretty big thing since we'd have to sway the aristocracy over to our side and then find a suitable heir. That can get us into a lot of trouble. Plus the whole dragon thing, and in this place the whole elf thing as well.

True but this is just adding up on charges against us but to tell you the truth I don't really mind. Maybe being wanted will be better then hunting wanted people.

True, but it wasn't me being hunted. I know how bounty hunters think and I think hunting one of their own would throw them of track for at least a little bit. Plus I can actualy cover our trail. Oh and since we're on the subject I think telling us your name would be benificial seeing as how saying bard could mean a lot of people.
