Draeken Aakarshan

Smiling and shaking his head, Draeken kissed her cheek in return before following her into the shadows and to their bedroom. He too appeared there in only his night clothing and soon slipped into the bed beside her, letting himself fall asleep slowly so as to enjoy her scent and calm breathing.

*Once again the strange woman stood on the opposite side of the lake from the Mansion. There was a certain look of excitedness on her face that was not there the last time.*

He is himself again. They are both themselves again. The time has come for me to carry out my orders. Soon the plans shall set in motion and the world returned to its rightful order. The Wills shall not be ignored any longer.

*With her lips twitching into what could almost be called a smile she was gone from the lakeside.*

*A bone chilling breeze would swept in by the lake by the mansion. A single large red feather fell onto the water gracefully as a figure materialized. The figure was covered by large crimson feathered wings and wasn't identifiable just yet. As the wings swept away, it could be seen that she was obviously a female, even though she was covered by a large black cloak and hood, leaving nothing visible* Damn....she was here.

What is it that you want with me, Harbinger of Death?

*The womans voice rang out around the newly appeared person before the stranger herself stepped out of thin air to stand where she had been.*

You are either very brave or very stupid to come here to confront me on your own.

*A smirk would creep across the woman's face, but remain unseen* Perhaps a little of both, hm? *The grass around her would begin to dry out and die. Clearly something was unnatural about her* I've caught wind of what the other Wills are planning... *She raised her hands to her hood and pulled it back, revealing her crimson hair and eyes* ...I want in on it.

*For several moments, the strange woman seemed to be conferring within herself. Her eyes seemed even more blank than before. Suddenly they regained what little life they had and she almost began to crack a smile.*

I guess it was a little rude of them to have excluded you. They send their apologies. You are welcome to help. After all, the quary they are after has evaded your hands as well, though I am amazed you admit that. It must be embarressing to be outmaneuvered by a creature from this plane.

Hmph...a right pain in the arse, it is. I'll have my way in the end though, I guarantee you that. *Her red eyes seemed to flare up as she spoke of this subject* That's not the point though... *She folded her arms* I go by Sundel. Reaper of souls. Emissary of death. You have my allegiance... for the time being.

*The woman really didnt care about the titles that Sundel went by or her annoyance at her quaries escape.*

That is good. If you were here to stop me, I would be forced to temporarily remove you from the picture until my mission was complete. I cannot eliminate you, however. That would bring about an unimaginable imbalance. But no matter. If you must call me anything, my name is Kyiana.

*She paused for a short time again then almost cracked another smile.*

The Wills are sending another. They should be here soon I hope.

Kyiana...hmm. Another? Well we'll just have to wait then... *Sundel put her hood back on and leaned against a tree* I hope this doesn't take too long. *The tree soon began to crackle slightly, the leaves falling off of it and drying out before they even hit the ground and the rest of the tree turning grey and dying, much like the grass had*

"Yeah. When's this fourth person going to get here?" A voice from nearby called out. A figure now sat on the ground nearby, obviously impatient. This person had clearly just appeared. Or had he always been there? With him, it was hard to know. This person couldn't have been older than 12 years, by the looks of him. Besides his unruly blonde hair and particularly thick glasses, there was little of distinction about him. His clothes were plain and there was no aura of the supernatural around him. He didn't even had any non-human traits. About the only things that would warrant a second look were his scarf and his book. The scarf was noticable because its colors and designs shifted every second. It was impossible to pinpoint a single pattern long enough to think on it. This scarf was wound around his neck, falling onto the ground where it was thrown over his back. The book was noticable, because no child that age ought to be reading a book larger than the dictionary. This lay beside him, closed.

Turning to the two others, the boy asked in a lilting, melodic voice, "Who're we waiting for, anyways?"

*Kyiana turned to the boy with a look on her blank face that was almost touching on irritation.*

We were waiting for you. I would expect you to be more punctual, given your creator. You at least are aware of our objective right?

*She glared at the boy for a moment then shrugged and looked back towards the Mansion.*

Sundel here has decided to join us as you can tell....Hmm...I had forgotten that you werent given a name. Either that or I wasnt told your name. Either way, our mission begins soon.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 17, 2006 1:26 am

Hmph... *She didn't pay much mind to the boy. He hadn't yet given her a real reason to* So we're finally going through with this... After so much evasion, it will soon be over. You've no idea how long I've waited for this. *Sundel got up from her position on the tree and extended her wings, outstretching her hand. Only a second later, her trademark scythe appeared in it*

The boy giggled. The irony that the avatar of time was the late one had been too amusing to let slip by. He'd expected a little more of a reaction from his new compatriots, though. He'd just have to work harder, he guessed. Looking over at the mansion, he smiled again. "So, this is where he's been secluding himself for these millenia then? Quite a nice place really. Pity that in 43,519 years and 8 months, this whole area'll be nothing more than a K-mart. Such architecture lost to the world. What a pity." The look on his face showed no remorse over such a loss however, as he stood, picking the book up with him. "Well, you know what they say, 'And this too shall fade away.' Might as well enjoy it while it's here, huh?"

The boy noticed Sundel summoning her scythe. As he turned to her, he asked "Oh, don't worry about it. By the time this is over, you won't have waited any time at all. That's what I'm here to assure. You take the soul, old miss Grumpy pants over there changes the present, and I change the past. It'll be like this never happened. Including this meeting and this plan. Bit of a paradox, don't you think?"
PostPosted: Fri Mar 17, 2006 1:44 am

*Kyiana's right eyebrow raised a little bit. The biggest facial expression she had made since arriving in this plane.*

Miss..."Grumpy pants"? Interesting. And what do you call yourself? Annoying Twerp? No matter. He hasnt quite secluded himself there. He has been...Floating about...for sometime. It has been only recently that he resurfaced in this plane and the Wills were able to track him down accurately. But yes, his time ends soon. Shall we be going?

*She resumed her blank face and began a steady walking pace towards the Mansion, her feet touching the surface of the water, but not even causing a ripple except for the usual fluxuations of the air, or perhaps even the Plane itself that rippled behind her.*

Kira twisted her head in the direction of the manshion and then turned it back, saying, "If you'll excuse me, I feel certain powers that be near. I'm going to go check on that. In the mean time you guys should get going to the castle, I'm not sure if any of you can feel it yet, but I sense the edge of a 'storm' approaching. From here on out, until I say otherwise, speak in aliases, just to be safe."

The others nodded and Kira waved her hands, a soft blue light surrounding her before she was gone in a puff of blue smoke.

Kira reappeared near another lake, this on much closer to the manshion than the one she had just been at, and much larger. She appeared there in the fashion she had disappeared, in a puff of blue smoke that swirled around her before the wind blew it away. Besides that small used of magic to teleport, Kira let off little to no magical radiance, no mana signature, by her own doing of course.

She saw that she had teleported a bit closer than she had wanted, a side effect of using so little mana, her mark was a bit off. She was very near to a small boy with a strange scarf and a enormous book next to him. One woman leaned against a dying tree, something Kira sense was of her own doing. A third woman walked along the lake, towards the manshion.

I hate dealing with powers, and avatars Kira thought to herself, thinking of past experiences, Immortals always talk down to mortals, even when they're asking you for something.

She was sure they had sensed her the moment she reformed, they wouldn't be powers if they hadn't. She spoke to the boy, for her hair raised more in caution over him than the other two for some odd reason. "What business do powers such as yourselves have in the world of mortals? Or am I to guess that it doesn't concern us mortals?"
