It was crazy hot a few weeks ago - now it's just really nice out. 3nodding
I almost died in the middle of the night during the heat wave. My bf woke up to go to work. He noticed that I didn't respond to his alarm like I always do, and that I also didn't respond to his voice or nudges. He even checked my pulse and everything until I finally moved a bit. I woke up five hours later feeling like crap and wishing my body would learn how to sweat.
But I was smart that night. Because I know that I overheat really easily and everything, I spent the first half of the night trying to figure out how to sleep through the second half without overheating - because I also knew that the only thing that would wake me up would be time. sweatdrop
That night made me realize that my body is just as stubborn as my mind. whee
I doubt I'll be going to ai-kon. I'm not much into anime really, so there's really no point. Are you going? Donning a costume?

I'm very self-concious, but despite that, I would go out in public wearing just about anything... except stillettos @.@

Dang, did anyone else see the news paper today. In the past 3 days Manitoba has had about 10 tornados. It is expected that this crazy weather is going to continue for another day or so. There was even one that had passed by my cottage a little up north. You should see all of the destruction. There were power lines down everywhere and hundreds of trees have fallen down blocking many roads in and out of the park. I am starting to get the feeling that Winnipeg may be hit by one some time very soon.

Most storms manage to barely miss Winnipeg. And I believe they will continue to do so. People may have planted themselves here for the benefits of living in the fork of two rivers, but we definetly lucked out with the huge lake north of us that attracts the storms. 3nodding
The tornado @ Elie was an F4 though. That's pretty damn scary.
I slept in my parent's basement that night.

Aww that's gotta suck. Last time a scary amount of trees blew over was during that wind storm... last year? ******** scary cuz I was driving in it. @.@
Moving all my s**t back home. We went to my friend's place for a bbq earlier today, and set off some fireworks. But I was grumpy and tired so we left early.

Yes we've been getting quiet a few wind storms out here. They keep on knocking the power out. I can't believe you guys aren't getting these too. Well yes I can see why, Winnipeg is quiet a ways away. sweatdrop But don't we share weather? confused
rofl That reminds me of when I was driving home a couple of weeks ago. Me and my friend are coming home after the rain just started. It wasn't so bad, light rain. Then it started to get heavier, we then thought nothing of it. So we were still continuing on our merry way. Then all of a sudden, all you could see was white. Not even the darn road. rofl That was pretty bad a**... but we were still going though. I just didn't know where too.
Moving back home? eek How much things did you take to your friends? Yeah, I know how that goes. But I kind of celebrated by myself... >.> Apparently my friends didn't even know that it was Canada day. So I got some fire works and set them off. It was alot better than last year. I got hit by a blast from a roman candle. sweatdrop

Hey, new here and just going to jump into the conversation. =P
Aw, that sucks. -hug- The problem is that statistics is a REALLY boring course. I dropped it the first time, now I'm taking it as a summer course. -_-
a lone dream chaser - I'm going to Ai-Kon! Only few weeks left! w00t!
