As Alina watchs Liliana gallop away, she wonders why all of a sudden it becuame impornat to her. eofre she was very mellow about it. maybe somthin g happend to Jade. but how would hse know? she looked at DUpre with a worried expression on her face. he couldnt really have done what i think hes done...did he really...give up his life...to be a darkfriend, jsut for a girl? this girl must have been really important to him. IF its true, would he do the same for me if it was me instead of this other girl? she pulled her horse closer to his and brushed the hair out of his eyes. she then kissed him on the forehead and wispered into his ear, "for you, my love, i will do anything. I hope it is the same for me. I love you with all my heart and soul. please dont leave me. espcially without any ansewrs. i love you." and then she kissed him.

ALina Pulls back in shock. he kissed me back she touches her lips with the first two fingers of her right hand. gthen she looks down at ehr fingers as if she is expecting to see somthing there. "but what didnt you expect would cost so much? what?" she looks away from him and starts to walk towards Tar Valon agian with both horses reins in her hand. she was deep in thought.

Heading for the Amyrlin's study Shanoa passes a courtyard with the sounds of a dual echoing from it. Noting the anomoly she decides to go see what is going on.

As she looks in she sees a woman and a man each with a sword engaged in what appears to be heavy sparring to her untrained eye. The man is wearing the familiar black coat of an Ashaman.

Could this be where he got to?

Curious, but not wishing to interrupt their exercise for fear of causing some hurt to either of them accidentally Shanoa sits down against a column between the hallway and the courtyard and resumes reading her book.

Kali's faced flushed red once more as she felt the heat rush to her cheeks. She didn't need to keep up an Sisters composure when they were alone, so why bother trying. "You are such a sweetie" She said feeling the feelings in the bond and knowing that her own mimiced his. She looked around quickly and then, since his arms were open, slid into them and gave him a tight hug before quickly leaning back.

"I can cook. I feel guilty reading when you are doing things...that need to be done" She said, flashing him a shy smile.

((Ack....I tried to post a week ago but gaia malfunctioned..here goes..this is going to be really long...a lot happened...))

The ground fifty paces in front of her was littered with the bodies of Trollocs and her hair was soaked with sweat, plastered onto her forehead. Mercury resisted the urge to rub at the blood slowly running down her cheek; her hands were dirty with Light knew what and she didn't want it to get infected. She had a few more bruises and wounds on her arms and knees, along with a slowly fading bruise on her neck from when she'd misjudged distance. Farther off, smoke coiled upwards.

Mercury watched with solemn eyes. It reminded her of her Dream...what did it mean?
A strange black mass with tents sprawled around it was on one side, with the Tower on the other. A large rift separated them. Suddenly, the black mass moved and out of it came a strange serpent-like creature. It looked at her and then moved across. It halted at the Tower, then slowly but carefully-as if afraid of harm-coiled itself around the White Tower. Briefly, Clarissa's face and another's flashed in front of her. The serpent was large, and the part of the body not twined around the Tower trailed off loosely to form a sort of makeshift bridge across the large canyon. And then it ended.

Mercury was trying hard to keep her breathing normal; she'd been here for days and had never once rested long enough to be safely pushing herself as much as she was. Her normally pale skin had a darker tint to it now, like a healthy person's. It came from being in the outdoors these past few days; a little sleep and her somewhat sickly appearance was likely to be reduced even more. The shouts from the villagers behind her as three Fades emerged in the distance. Mercury stopped trying to fight her fatigue; she needed all her strength to finish this. She went down to her knees, but remained focused on the Fades. She had no option; she had to do it. Reluctantly, she opened the bonds with Hawk and Wolf. Mercury's injuries manifested in the minds of her Warders. A moment later, Hawk's frustraion and Wolf's injuries hit the Keeper and she struggled to keep from crying out.

Despite the pain, she brought her head back up to the advancing Eyeless. She focused and managed to grab the Source. There were three cracks of lightning and the Fades lay thrashing on the ground. Mercury went down to all fours and the villagers came forth. Some mounted a watch, while the others took the Aes Sedai back to the Winespring so the Wisdom could take care of her.

Mercury's vision blurred in and out as did her focus, until she could no longer distinguish between her emotions and pain and those of Hawk and Wolf. She had to return to the Tower. She couldn't stay away this long. She would leave in the morning to go to Tar Valon. The Shadowspawn were all gone and the villagers now properly prepared for any attack. She needed to catch up on her work. She had to check on Azalea. She had to find a new Mistress of Novices. She had to interpret her dream. She had to gather the Hall. She had to give her report to the Amyrlin. She had to...the rest of Mercury's thoughts were lost as she finally collapsed into sleep; forgetting about everything, including the now open Warder bonds.

((Phew..what a post...hopefully it won't be this eventful when I leave later...Sorry it's so sucky and random and incredibly speedy with the unfolding of action and rather lacking in sense; I'm beat. night guys. ))
