Dang.. Today we had a sectional after school, and out of like 30 something trumpets, only 8 showed up. So only 8 people are going to play our section stand music. :B
Ekk. On Monday, I got the greatest compliment in the worldddd. Our section leader, Scott, was like "Alright so when Solo and Ensemble comes around, you're going to be with my group." which is a compliment because he didn't chose the two people in front of me, no! He chose me! : D
sorry. i crave attention (:

So i have 1 silver yamaha trumpet that i love. I have one mouthpiece, an 11B4, which is equivalent to a 7C. I also have a 3C, but I hate it and gave it to my co section leader. I use to have a plastic Kelly 7C, until some one stole it out of my bag. I really liked that thing. It was bue and everything. I've never tried a 5C, suprisingly. I have a list buried someone of about 20 different sizes I would like to try. I think theres a 14C on it. I dont remember.
Anywayzz.. I love trumpet, and band (obviously)

I can only reliably hit a G above the staff without having to a) force it until it's paper thin; and b) play up to it.

I have two trumpets, a Yamaha and a Palatino... I'm not very good at the trumpet all; my stepdad bought one for me when I was going through a, "zOMG trumpets get all the good parts and french horns get teh upbeats!1!!@!" phase in eighth grade, and my big sister's boyfriend gave me his old one because he quit band in seventh grade.

That's rather amusing. I went through the exact opposite transition during my eight grade year, when I switched from trumpet to French Horn. Ask me not why; I think my insane MS band director probably played an instrumental (pun intended) role.

Whee! My section shirts, after 4 weeks of waiting, finally are done! Check 'em out: I designed both the logo in the front and back, while they put each one of our nicknames at the top. I'm Stencil, obviously. xd

erm, i have a professional blessing trumpet with a bach 10 1/2 C which i dont use, a blessing 7C, and a blessing 3C. i am (supposed to be) section leader at my school and im a freshman.
about the nicknames... we dont nickname each other, we name our instruments. my friend named her flute skittles because during lunch she accidentally stuffed an open skittles bag in her case and when she went to play, skittles fell out in front of the director. it was funny.
ACK! I HATE RANTING!! bye xd
