What a strange dream this was, Kressida thought as she casually dusted herself off from the rather dangerous fall down the rabbit hole. The AI rambled on about the game mechanics as she took a look around at the environment her subconscious thew her in. Eventually, Alice, the AI, told her she had to pick a username and job class. "Username: Sirens_Envy" she called out without too much thought.
"Username accepted. Please declare a job class".
If given the choice she'd rather be a lover, not a fighter -- so she decided on the healer class, "Doormouse, please".
And her fate was decided.
She took a look down at herself and realized her normal attire of long skirts and leather laced boots had been replaced in this dream world with what appeared to be a mix between a stuffy aristocrat and a feather duster all covered in black white and gray with furry trims. Feeling a strange knot in her hair she felt around her head for what amounted to two furry mouse ears. How odd. And where her normally large fish tail would emerge she found it had been replaced by a delicate thready tail of the same variety as her newfound ears…Strange indeed. But, this was a dream after all.
With the horns and buzzing noises of the forest before her and the, dare she say, cutesy? transformation she had undergone she thought it quite likely that this was not a dream she wished to rush through. With a flit of her tail she treaded forward toward the woods to examine the strange tress and mysteries therein.

NotStupid's cheeks puffed up to epic proportions as he, once again, flung himself to his feet and darted off in a last ditch effort to... Ditch. Natt could get PK'd for all he cared.
Once again eager to contradict his username, while looking back and running, he ran into a tree.
A tree with a crescent smile.
The boy's ears perked and swiveled at the strange choice of words the smile had used. Such an ominous message. Trees Visited: Tree three part 2 - glasses search
Fragments: 0
- No such luck, maybe mice just were not very good at finding glasses. He made the awful suggestion that maybe whomever cut down the previous tree might have taken them out of spite, but that suggestion was received with redoubled sobs.
He scurried on so he wouldn't have to try and figure out how to make a tree stop crying.

The third tree Byakko moved over to was the best tree he had seen so far, at least in his opinion. He read the signs in amusement, not even minding that he hadn't found anything worthwhile once again. Tree 5/5 The jelly Hatter's last search found a tree with several signs, all pointing different directions and saying nothing remotely informative. Oh well, she was growing tired of this silly forest, except for maybe that grin. She was sure she'd find more interesting places to explore. n0isyboi was very very confused. He stood there, wondering if he should follow the order of the signs. But for how many steps? Was the steps equivalent to the number of signs? Was this even a riddle?
Or was it simply a really confusing tree?
That would be annoying.

Still mad at what the last tree had done that HotRocks was in no mood for any sassy trees or anything really as she walked on grumbling to herself. Now this next tree was a wide one and it looked just as unhappy to see her as she currently felt as she could see that it crossed it arms and how it did that she didn't care. "I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!" HotRocks eyes narrowed as she stared the tree down while growling at it. "Well that is good for you as you probably deserved it! I'm not that stupid to do to that. Yelling at you works just as well, you STUPID TREE!" HotRocks yelled at the tree as she somewhat lost her temper and stormed off give the tree a while berth as she did not want to be smacked by a tree. Byakko didn't know that trees could sob so much. He found this little tidbit out when he came across the fourth tree. Why would a tree need glasses? How could it leave them somewhere around it where it can't see? Maybe the trees could remove their roots and walk away at times? He might have to ask one of the trees these questions some time but for now he would help the tree out. Sadly Byakko wasn't able to find the glasses for the tree. He decided after a bit of searching that maybe an animal ran off with them or they fell down a hole somewhere. "H-HEY!" Natt gasped, scrambling off the tree stump and chasing after poor Nots as he insisted on fleeing. She was just in time to witness him smacking into a tree, and in an effort to not have the same fate she put on the brakes - a move that had her tumbling backwards on her own, her hand managing to find a crevice in something behind her.
Only to get told to come back later, when the tree was actually clean.
Curious as to what it meant, Natt pulled her hand out of the tree...and stared in disgust and interest as a long, trailing line of sap followed. EW. Cool, but, ew.
"UM. OKAY." She told the tree, creeping away from it and back towards Nots. "I'LL COME BACK LATER." She lied, wiping her hand - and the snotty substance - on Nots's shoulder.

If you shake the tree it laughs happily and then spits out a fragment. It bids you your merry way as you continue walking. +1 fragment.
Walking up to the tree, Golden gave it a look over, eyebrow raising as she attempted to figure out how to .. shake a tree. Was it like one would do, when they're trying to get an apple? (Where was Sören when she was thinking this.) Clearing her throat a little, she gave a little apology to the tree before going to shake it, assuming nothing would happen.
Instead, it started giggling incessantly, almost enjoying it greatly, making her, too laugh a little, before seeing a little red fragment fall from the tree.
It wasn't an apple, but it was definitively enjoyed.
"Thank you, kind tree, I appreciate it." She stated, picking it up and smiling, before going along her way.+1 Fragment

He stood for a long moment looking at the plethora of signs on this particular tree. It was a rather honest bunch of signs, the tree was rather quiet though which made him wonder if the nails had killed it or… perhaps it was mute. Hard to say really. It wasn't trying to hit him at least so that was a bonus, nor was it crying, which was also a plus.
Still, he couldn't quite decide how to take the signs.
"Everywhere is nowhere?" or… was it Nowhere everywhere? He thought it might be a very important distinction, but he really did need to find that one last tree. Dreams were so -awfully- strange. At least this one so far lacked any feather plucking or scaling knives.

The fifth and final tree Byakko searched claimed it was dirty and he needed to come back when it was clean. He would have stayed there and searched anyway but decided not to. A mistake it turned out since the tree disappeared by the time he came back. How could a tree that big just disappear?
