"Good, because you're always going to be in trouble since you seem to like it so much." She looked serious but there was a joking under tone to her words. "Unless you plan on changing."

"As well as can be considering our fate." She answered, giving a nod to Lifen. She leaned on Bastion a little like a head rest. "He's still in hot water." She added with a serious tone.

There was a pause as she thought, "So you're going back?" She asked curiously, "To those... that don't know us our... uh... I guess you'd say true-selves?" It felt so weird talking like that.

"If so Lifen, can you do me a favor?" She looked at her Bastion, and back to Lifen. She wasn't one of conquest glances but she hoped her favor could go by the way of unspoken words.

The only word that Bastion heard coming from Mjoll's lips was always. After that, it was a blur. A heart throbbing, explosive blur.

He was so glad all of this happened. He was so glad that they'd been discovered to have been living a lie, a fake life, that ended that very day. He was so glad that this was his fate.

Because Mjoll had promised him forever.

Bastion barely lifted his eyes to Lifen. It was highly disrespectful, but he couldn't help it. He had mere moments left of this perfect reality. Mere moments..

He reached up and brushed Mjoll's hair away from her face, as she leaned against him and spoke to Lifen. He felt the heat of her against him, for those last few minutes of life.

And regretted none of it.

She was still clutching at herself when she woke up.

Just a desperate sort, the claw-like vicegrips in her stomach dug to make sure she had secured herself, as if holding herself in means holding herself from death. But had she died? The little noble dared to take a peek around as something other than despair, something better than fear and desperation, came over her: peace.

How strange.

Perhaps they had all died in one way or another. Did it matter truly? They were fragments, pieces that reflected the wrong color, the wrong size, the wrong perspective and person entirely. And yet they had come from somewhere no? Every little crystal just a reflection of what might have been, what still in some sense could be.

Her head couldn't quite wrap around it right now; she hoped whoever she really was could.

For now, the little noble hovered on the fringe of the first collection of Edric citizens she recognized, noting that a conversation had started and content to just wait, maybe even listen if they did not shoo her away.

All Stormy needed was the knowledge that she was not alone anymore. This was enough for now.

Pokerus didn't even know what to think anymore. She was...there The last thing she remembered was being destroyed into utterly nothing, but now she was back again. Was she back permanently? She had no idea. It was all so confusing and she was starting to get a headache.

But hey, it felt good to have a headache, to be able to feel anything beyond nothing. She was alive again, and it looked like she'd get to see everyone too. And as the commander came through the door, she grinned her toothy grin and gave him a thumbs up. To his question, she appeared stumped scratching the side of her head

"Er, good question. I think Roch caught the android. Or was it that other guy?" It was clear she couldn't remember.

That was when she turned around and went a little pale. Ohhh...s**t, there was the Drogiam she had killed in battle. Oh yeah, she remembered it very clearly too. It was hard to know just how to feel about that, but she did know there was a lot of guilt there too. Best do something about it before she disappeared again. Clear her conscience and all that.

Slowly she walked over towards Jericho, noting he was trying to get someone else's attention. Standing near him, she coughed awkwardly. How was the best way to go about this...

"...Yo. I...know what I did before...It's not something that apologizing would make up for...Though if you want, you can throw a few punches at me. I wont fight back."

Cause fighting solved everything

Mot was taken aback by Riley's sudden forwardness. She'd been so high strung and timid about something as normal as a massage in the past. Suddenly, here she was. Their faces so close, her hand on his face. Mot was entranced for a moment, his gaze softening as she spoke for him. Her gaze seemed so intense, so intrusive as if peering behind his own gaze and looking within him, so far deep he himself couldn't see.

Was she saying this just to make him feel better? Maybe she could see through his wall he kept for others. He was scared, after all. A small part of him didn't want to let this life go, he simply knew it needed to happen. Accepting it came easy after a while.

"I..." Mot searched for words. Words for Riley in exchange for the kind message she'd given him. He had no reason to believe them to be true, but it gave him a small bit of hope. Hope he could take with him as he faded and left forever.

He smiled again, as he often did.

"Maybe." His hands lifted to rest on either side of her face, cupping her cheeks gently. "Until then, I suppose.." He lifted his head just enough to press the lightest kiss to the priestess's forehead, then letting his hands fall back to his sides as he stepped back.

"I think someone is coming to say goodbye to you too."

Soon, Jericho heard a cough from behind him. Turning away from the Mindflayer and her current companion, he saw the dragon lady that he had an aerial dogfight with during the war. The one that had killed him initially. He looked towards her, sizing her up.

Oh?

Well this was interesting.

"Well if you're offering..." the dragon said with a smirk as he cracked his knuckles, "THEN I'LL BE GLAD TO OBLIGE!"

Rearing back, he went to punch Poke right in the face.

She was...back? Yes, back in this ruse of a world, awoken in the glow of a white pillar. It felt like an encouraging hug from an old friend, one that said they would be there to pick you up when you fall. The pillar encouraged her to go, to say goodbye to the fragments.

She supposed she should. Who wouldn't want to leave with the warmth of a friendly goodbye?

Scanning the area, she quickly found her target in the fragmented Mot - having some kind of mental discourse with Riley. She gave a small smile, knowing that she and the actual Reaper were somewhat close in the real world - maybe it carried over here.

But, Gene needed her moment with Mot too. Striding to the mindflayer and the cowboil, Gene pinched Riley's cheek, wiggling it a little to get her attention. "Mind if I cut in? I think our noodle girl is looking for you." She stated, pointing towards said fish ghost.

Once Riley was gone, Gene took Mot's hands in her own, smiling rather sadly at him. He was just a figment of her friend(?), but she had killed him.

"So...this is goodbye, huh?"

It seemed she could chalk up another failure; fading away properly. Though, to Maple's defense, it was all really out of her control as several benevolent, or whatever, forces decided to play with them even further by bringing them back with a bright flash of light that made her see spots once she opened her brown eyes.

It was entertaining, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of all of this being amusing to some. They were pillars after all, though she was unsure of the specifics, if they had been some other form that had been reduced to such a state or if that was how they oddly projected themselves into this fake world as the Voice had just been an ominous ... well, voice that chimed in.

But, they were still kind enough to give them a happy ending before their time was really up. Maple had been ready for so long for the end, but even so she was determined not to mess this last chance up.

With her eyes cleared, she went on a mission. The small once-Shadow was going to find Uru and at the same time, she was going to find those of her Kingdom, to thank them all and wish them a sweet goodbye. Not. Going. To. Fail.

"Yup, I'm offering" She replied, eyes going wide as he cracked his knuckles. Oh, this was going to hurt. It was going to hurt a whole lot. It was a bugger she wasn't a rook anymore because she could have used the extra defense. Holding her breath, she stood her ground and did nothing to defend herself, not even closing her eyes.

When the punch connected, she felt the extreme force pushed her backwards, and she was sent flying to the ground holding her nose and the rest of her face which looked pretty bruised now. <******** you punch hard." She groaned, sitting up and rubbing the sore parts

It was odd to hear his name and know someone else just like him shared it. The familiarity made him start a bit, though he recovered quickly. "A good truth, that. Remind me, Lady Sin, that I owe you a commemoration of some sort for fighting as long as you did," he told her with a smile, his eyes glancing at the faerie as she flitted about doling out affection as was her wont; the sight allowed his heart to beat again without pain. Taking the eladrin's hand, he kissed the back of it. "I'll need you when we decide to move forward with rebuilding the kingdom to its former glory."

Her hand slid away as Belladonna took her into a hug, and Mort watched them fondly, even as his druidic champion turned sour. "If I might, once the others have said goodbye, I have more to say." He was unsure if his words would help Sin overcome the natural reaction some fragments would have - theirs was a newly reveled bittersweetness after all - but he could hope. He'd give the eladrin her space and come back later.

For now, she was there. Holding the flower he hadn't deserved with the sort of smile that, even if he hadn't had a heart at all, would have made his blood race. A hundred different thoughts went over his face as he looked down at her, his mouth slightly parted as if to launch into another quip or tease he so often did to her, some lighthearted comment about total misunderstandings and how he should not be allowed to hold pointy things near her. He tried to speak, but a sort of watery laugh came out instead that he tried to cover up by coughing.

The second time he managed a smile but his voice cracked, and he shook his head a bit at himself.

The third time he didn't bother speaking. He simply took the flower and the faerie, pulled them to him, and went straight for the passionate kiss.

Which totally went like this.

There was definitely something sparking behind Mot's eyes, but Riley was never the master of reading souls. She only knew the mind, and Mot's mind was far, far from here. Instead, the Mot in front of her cupped her face in his hands, and the intensity in her expression disappeared. She felt her head pulled down, and his lips on her forehead. A sweet gesture, and something else. Something awkward, and sad, at the same time. His lips said goodbye to her, because in the end, this really and truly wasn't Mot.

And that was something she would have to accept.

She felt the slam of a body beside her, and sucked in a breath of surprise, pulling her gaze away from the moment to look down at the girl that had called her name. In that same moment, Gene was there, looking at her with a knowing gaze that made Riley's eyes slit in dismay. This was.. not exactly the best of circumstances to be found under, and she knew it. The pinch on her cheek made Riley's eyes flare wide. Had it been any other circumstance, any at all...

Gene was so lucky. So, so, so, sososososososo lucky.

She picked Gilly up in her arms and gave Gene one last look before carrying the noodle girl off. As soon as Riley's attentions were focused on Gilly, her expression transformed from extreme dissonance, to absolute content.

Yes, my friend. We did very good. Xiu is safe now, and everything is going to go back to the way it's supposed to be. She leaned in, and pressed her forehead to Gilly's while whispering proudly to her. You were absolutely magnificent.

Her eyes caught sight of a flash of red - was that Jericho, punching..

...

Did she even want to know?

The mixture was balanced again, albeit a little more clear.

Mimsy's eyes opened into a very curious expression. She brought her hands up towards har face, turned them over twice, stretched her wings, tilted her head--

And, upon discovering that she was completely in working order, she set off to locate her Bard. Surely he wouldn't have just left her. Right? After all their time together? After everything she'd done for him? Yet he hadn't shown when they were supposed to meet, and the world crumbled without him as a result.

Well, not this time. She'd find him if he couldn't find her.

Watching them react was just . . . rather sweet and made her miss home even more so, but she wouldn't leave, just yet. Listening to the woman's request though, dark eyebrows pinned up lightly at the girl's attempt to give her a hint of the favour. Her accent was a little odd, but she figured it out. It was written all over her face, and having Bastion clinging to her didn't help very much.

Giving a little giggle, she nodded to her, a full smile showing on her face as she gave her a little bow. "I will do the best in my powers." She offered, giving her a secret promise, with a wink of her gold eye.

First she had to . . . well. . . meet Mjoll.

Turning to see Stormy next to her, she gave the little Noble a sweet smile also, signing a little bittersweetly. "I will never forget the hospitality you all showed me, even after I remember who I was. You have all been good people, I hope whatever comes for you is good." She offered, hoping her words would be true.

It felt a little foreign and different - she was a creature of destruction and change - but she felt that this one's time was only starting.

That punch felt really good, especially since he had made her fall down like that. Jericho looked pretty smug about as he rubbed his fist a bit, feeling rather content.

"Well good. Now you know better than to mess with me again," he smirked. He soon realized that behind him, things had finished up. Turning around, the smirk faded as he was trying to figure out how to go about this. He didn't even really know where to begin, to be honest.

"You said a lot of confusing things earlier..."

Mjoll noticed Bastion didn't say hello, or much of anything to Lifen. There was a small irritated look on her face as she elbowed him, "Don't be rude Bastion. At least say hello to Lifen."

Mjoll nodded, "I just hope he's not as big of a failure where you're from." There was a chuckle as she waved to Stormy as well.

A small nod, "Hopefully, an ending to a story is a start to a new one. Who knows though." She patted Bastion's hand. "I suppose if a new one doesn't start when this one ends, it is as it is."

She sighed. "I don't want to say goodbye though...." Mjoll frowned, "it seems so... permanent. I mean I know it is, but I'd like to hope it wasn't."
