Up and up and up it went... she was kind of wishing she could fly right then, to be honest. Her legs throbbed. She hadn't walked like this in a long time - not since she'd gone home the last time. Poor Junko-chan, having to hike all that way with her. She'd been a trooper.
Suddenly The Voice boomed within her mind, as she couldn't here, surely that was the only way it was currently choosing to speak to her. Thought the faerie wanted to find that vastly odd, instead she focused on its word with a frown. I do remember why I was created into this world. I'm here to stop you! The thought was made loud and clear, yelling inside her mind so The Voice would hear her.

Why couldn't the voice find a place that was down hill...or a castle that had a ramp with chairs! This was the thoughts in her mind as she trudged up the stairs her anger growing more and more.
She could hear the voice speaking about remembering the more she remembered her kingdom the more angry she grew at the voice for taking it away.

The burst from B0nez carried Harrison up a few more stairs, but only so far.
Around her 200th step the voice spoke again. This time it sounded desperate and promised her anything and everything. She paused for a moment, braced to take another step forward and yet... What if she could save Sig? If she accepted the offer she would be able to save her friend and everyone else in the world. And yet, Moriko knew that it was not the way. This voice obviously did not want her to continue forward and she was certain that she must. She couldn't stop now. Determined, she continued to move forward.

For a brief moment, Moriko regretted her choice to continue forward. However, the more steps she took, the more she felt that she had made the right decision. If this world was a fake, she needed to end it. And if it wasn't, then she could worry about protecting Sigrun then. As long as this voice ordered them about and terrorized them they wouldn't be happy.
