Eric limped into his dorm and went toward the shower. He washed his face in the sink and grabbed some bandages from the medicine cabinet. After showering, He wrapped them around his abdomen and leg wound. He looked at himself in the mirror. He had a scar on his face and was very pale. "Man, I look like hell. I'm beat," he said. He limped toward his dresser and grabbed some new clothes. Eric collapsed onto his bed after putting the new clothes on.
He quickly fell asleep.

Eric had slept peacefully for several hours. Until he had some nightmare about the events of yesterday. He woke up with a massive headache and pain in his leg. He groaned as he rose out of bed. "Phew, one hell of a day yesterday. I'm going to be feeling that for weeks," he said. He applied new bandages to his wounds and looked through the fridge. "Note to self: restock meat and dairy," he said grabbing an apple. The couch beckoned him to sit. So he did.

The phone rang in Eric's dorm. Eric picked it up.
"this is Eric. Who's calling," he said.
"Good to hear your still alive kupo. I've worried about you,"
The other end replied.
"damn it Lawrence! You know you can't impersonate yogtz well,"
"Is that really proper etiquette for addressing your friend who just woke up from a freaking coma?"
"Since when have any of us given a damn about being fancy?"
"Point taken. So how's it going man?"
"You know. Defended the school from the neo orginization, got stabbed, brought down about 70 regular nobodies and a neo member. Same old same old,"
"What!? There was an attack on the school and I missed it?"
"Comatose tends to make people miss things. Is yogtz still there?"
"He went to deliver a package yesterday. Haven't seen him much since. I literally just woke up a half hour ago,"
"then how did you know where he..."
"he left a note,"
"ok. Listen man, you need to rest. We can't have you overexerting yourself,"
"I've just spent over a week sleeping!"
"comatose isn't sleep. You of all people should know that." there was a sound coming from the door. It sounded like someone placed a package near the door and walked of. "Call you back man. Something's at the door. Auf wiedersehen," Eric hung up and limped toward the door. There, in the package, was the jewel topped cane yogtz had given Eric. He smiled and unwrapped it. "oh yogtz. You always know what I need," he chuckled.

"Just wanted to see if you were okay after the courtyard fight." Namine got out of the shower and changed before fixing food. "Wanna stay for lunch Cyan?"

"Unfortunately, I'm out of painkillers so it hurts like he... It hurts a lot," he said. I should cut down on swearing. I'm to smart for such primitive behavior, he thought.

"I bet you make a mean peanut butter and jelly sandwich," Eric chuckled. He looked to a nearby clock. Wow, where did the time go? I went from feeling like a teen to an old man in less than a week, he thought smiling. Oh the trials of life,

Eric chuckled at his own joke. He then looked to Alex. "Oh yeah, something's been bugging me little man. I've got this feeling something is happening that I don't know about. It's probably paranoia, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I assume as a master and the adopted child of the headmistress, you'd have access to more information than I do," he said. "Is there anything significant going on after our win in the courtyard?"

Alex shook his head. "Not really. Kalena's still taking a leave from her position for a while since her husband from another life returned. Amu and Yama convinced her to take a break." He sighed. "She's going to pass out if she continues like this. But other than that, nothing's really happened." Namine was making spaghetti.

Eric nodded in agreement. "I saw her after the fight. She looked like she was on the brink of death. She deserves a break," Eric said. "well, thanks for telling me man. Turns out I was just paranoid I guess. We'll see if anything else happens,"

"Problem!" Alex smiled and then yawned. "I'm still exhausted after the fight. I'd kill for a nap right now..." He laid down on the couch and closed his eyes.
