"Sting? Why is he here in our guild if he's in Sabertooth?" Seiko noticed another man, this one in black. "Who's that? Is he also from Sabertooth?"

The situation looks dire in another part of the woods as two members of Fairy Tail, namely Gray and Juvia are locked in combat with a member of the dark guild, namely Romina, where the battle left Juvia unconscious due to taking a powerful attack head on and Gray trapped in a barrier of sharp water like spikes that couldn’t be countered by his ice magic. Gray’s anger over what had befallen Juvia had made him careless, a trait which he is not known to have as he is usually cautious and calculative in his strategies. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case for him as his brash actions had landed him in a trap concocted by a little girl named Romina who doesn’t appear to be strategic in her approach. Gray wasn’t even aware of the presence of Yukio near the area nor is Romina. Sensing his mistake, Gray knelt on the grassy ground, regret and shame etched on his face as his pound the ground with his right fist, cursing himself for his weakness. “I’m sorry, Juvia,” muttered Gray sadly as he accepts his fate as the spike blobs began to swell to their limit. However, the moment before the exploding of the blobs, a familiar figure dashed towards Gray and is now standing in front of him. The figure appears to be Juvia as she had recovered from her unconscious state and forced her battered body to move towards Gray who was in midst of trouble. Before Gray could say anything, Juvia flicked her wrists which in turn caused water domes to be formed around the blobs that in turn had null the exploding effect of the blobs that threaten to gravely injure both Gray and Juvia. Gray breathed a sigh of relief at what had transpired as he turned is gaze at Juvia with a relieved smile on his face. “Ju…,” proceeded Gray but was interrupted as he noticed the dark look in Juvia’s eyes that turn his smiling expression to that of fear as he had never seen Juvia this consumed by anger before. This made Gray cringed back a little as he watched silently as Juvia engage Romina. “Nakama? Hmm? Romina has no idea,” responded Romina with a confused look on her face. “Romina do it cause its part of the game. Romina just want to play,” remarked Romina as she claps her hands in glee. “Water is Romina’s element too!” announced Romina with glee as she noticed Juvia lunging at her with a boiling water form. “Wow! You’re steaming hot!” exclaimed Romina excitedly as she draws a huge body of cold water from the swamp as the collected water remains afloat in front of her. “Liquid Stream!” announced Romina cheerfully as she directs the water at Juvia as it impacts her with a jet stream of cold water. Steams begins to build as the cold water touches Juvia’s steaming hot water which in turn creates a cloud of steam above them. As a follow up, Romina snapped her fingers which in turn caused two water dolphins to leap out of the swamp where one of them proceeded to launch itself towards Juvia whereas the other perform a spinning attack which in turn hit an unsuspecting Gray as the attack knocked him off his feet. “Gahh!!!” exclaimed Gray as he hit the ground hard. Gray tried to shake off the wooziness and get to his feet. But before he could do so, he was knocked from behind which caused him to fall face down on the ground. “It’s fast,” thought Gray as he is helpless to act as he is continuously attacked by the spinning dolphin. His blurred gaze then caught a glimpse of a fellow member namely Yukio. However, in his weakened state, he couldn't muster enough strength to call for help. Meanwhile, another battle is escalating to a whole new level as the intensity between two warriors namely Eiko and Jason heat up. Eiko, representing the dark guild known only as Dying Breed, the guild responsible for the derailment of the train and causing causalities amongst the passengers in their wake, as she poised herself against her opponent, Jason, a member of Fairy Tail, the guild being caught up in the controversy of something sinister in works. Nevertheless, regardless of background and profile, both are accomplished fighters as proven by their earlier encounter as both are eager to finish this momentous battle as both ready their best strategies and weapons to ultimately determine a winner. Jason was first to strike as he dash towards the blind Eiko with his sharp claws rearing to tear through her fair skin. However, with aid from her super sensitive hearing, Eiko was able to predict his movement and lunge a counter attack where she lunges her spear towards Jason with its sharp tip aimed at his vulnerable neck. In spite of her effort, Jason’s gauntlets allowed him to dodge her attack as its wings enables him to flutter upwards as he proceeds to mock her in a childish manner. Before Eiko could respond, Jason has already dashed behind her, a feat difficult to accomplish as Eiko could pick up movement quicker than any normal human. However, her ever trustworthy senses failed her this time as she wasn’t able to keep up with Jason’s sudden increase in speed and is now his captive as he wrapped one of his arms around her chest with both legs wrapped around her waist while hovers midair with aid of his wings. If that wasn’t bad enough, he had one of his claws resting on her neck in his bid to restrict her from any action. She could hear his taunt loud and clear as he restrains her but for some strange reason, Eiko remained calm as her breathing appears normal and her movements as minimal as possible. “I applaud you for getting the jump on me. I will even congratulate you on evading my senses with ease. However, if you think you had me cornered, you are sadly mistaken,” remarked Eiko with a confident tone as the reason for her confidence is revealed as the hand holding the spear was still in lunging position due to the earlier attack. Before Jason could comprehend what is going on, it was revealed that the grip on her spear was loose to the point that when she lunge her spear at Jason and missed, the delayed momentum allowed the spear to slipped away from her hand as the spear is now seen leaving her hand and darts towards the sky. “Tiberon!” called out Eiko as the spear suddenly turned around and dived towards Jason and Eiko in its bid to pierce both of them. “Your move,” responded Eiko with a soft tone as she countered his taunt with her own. At this time, Taura, Celina and Devi are at odds end with the unmotivated member of the dark guild Dying Breed, namely Asuka as she equips a pair of powerful looking gauntlets that appears to be her best arsenal. If that is not bad enough, they are also face to face with a person who they had dubbed a friend when he first visited their guild to seek aid only for it to turn out that he is not at all what they envisioned him to be. That person goes by the name of Theodore and so far he has not done anything to incite a battle rather it seems he is caught in an argument with the girls over their beliefs and principals. Theodore remained silent as he watch Devi take a slow step forward, preaching about her beliefs. “You’re helping now even by being here. For that, you have my gratitude,” responded Theodore with a calm tone. “I alienate people because I do not want to create close ties with them. I’ve suffered enough as it is,” remarked Theodore with a sad tone. “I guess your views hold true however keep in mind that your mundane form of justice will only lead to grief. If there is no greater of power to uphold justice, the whole system will just fall apart. I’ve seen many fall victim to tragedies because the justice that we believe strongly today is nothing but a let down. The criminals are persecuted but others will take their place. Topple one tyrant and another will be waiting in the sidelines. It’s a vicious cycle,” explained Theodore with a serious tone as he clenched his right fist in response to hearing Celina’s remark. “The power within ourselves did nothing when we watched the ones we care about die one after another due to greed and betrayal. Even together, a greater power triumphs over that unity. Think about it, the justice we have now is tainted and beyond repair. Your bonds mean nothing if the very peace you sought to uphold with the unity of your guild is trampled by corruption. Look around you. Dark guilds are everywhere. Even within the confines of justice, they cause grief to many,” responded Theodore to Celina’s remark. “You meant well but unfortunately not many share your ideals of strength, my dear Celina,” noted Theodore with a somewhat sad polite tone only for him to be interrupted by Devi’s outburst. “And you have never seen the hell I’ve been through because of the bonds you speak of, my sweet Devi,” responded Theodore with a calm tone. “I’ve been relishing in the fact that I’ve been loved, cherished and surrounded by close friends. Until one day, everything I’ve ever cared about was taken away. I’ve lost faith in bonds or friendship. Only pure justice can save this world,” remarked Theodore with a determined tone. “I may hate the idea of working with a dark guild but as long as I can accomplish my goal, I am willing to go to the very depths of hell itself,” remarked Theodore with a serious tone as he gaze at Devi, Taura and Celina with emotionless eyes while Asuka appears to display a look of dissatisfaction in response to his statement of how he hated working with them. Theodore was then caught off guard as he watch the blood stained cloth leave his hand and flew over to Devi as it landed in her hands. Theodore’s gaze was then directed towards Taura who has sprouted white wings. “Wind magic,” thought Theodore as he analyzed Taura’s magic. Theodore then turns his gaze towards Devi who is examining the cloth and then later tossed it to the ground. “You speak of strong bonds, my lovely Devi. If that’s the case, isn’t right for me to say that you’ve abandoned your friend. If you truly have a strong bond with your friends then avenge Rein’s death or are you just lying to yourself,” provoked Theodore with a serious tone as he watch Taura perform her magic which in turn lifted them off the ground. “You leaving will burden me. So, if you would forgive my rudeness, I can’t allow you to leave,” noted Theodore as he clap his hands together which causes the rock and dirt to rise from the ground beneath them. The rock and dirt then proceeded to rush upwards and mold itself until a solid rock dome is form above Taura, Devi and Celina, blocking their escape in the process. “Asuka,” called out Theodore as he gestures Asuka to act. Asuka breathed out a sigh of disinterest but disappears out of sight as her enhanced speed propels her towards Taura and the others. With a swing of her fist, she caused a wave of fire to lunge itself at Taura, Devi and Celina. “The flames from her gauntlet are like flames from hell itself. They can't be put out by normal means,” noted Theodore with a soft tone. “It is sad actually. When I was in the guild I actually felt your genuine trust in me and your willingness to help. But alas, our beliefs differ greatly. The very best I could say is that I appreciate your kindness and sorry for hurting you all,” remarked Theodore with a sad tone as he watch the ambers of the flames approach Taura and the rest. The supposedly peaceful train ride towards Hargeon would have been a smooth one albeit a sudden attack by a dark guild which not only halted the train’s advance but also derailed it in the process as strange creatures summoned by a gloomy mysterious girl is the cause for all the commotion. The box cars of the train are intact with its passengers safe but the same cannot be said of the Fairy Tail members who are now engaged in battle with the opposing dark guild as the numerous encounters left battered and bruised. Near the train wreck, a battle of huge proportions is taking place as a giant demon lord stares down at its prey namely Evalina and Nathan while its white haired summoner is perched on its right shoulder. The summoned demon lord is menacing and powerful on its own but the summoning of the horse like creature known as Nightmare made matters worst for the Fairy Tail members as the beast snorts arrogantly at its alicorn counterpart Midnight after deflecting its earlier attack. The white haired girl has an annoyed expression on her face upon hearing Nathan’s comment about her owning Nightmare. “Grateful? Bonds? You are seriously mistaken. The initial difference between Nightmare and Midnight is that Nightmare can’t be controlled by anyone. Nightmare only sticks to me because it feeds off my sadness and magic power. As long as Nightmare remains summoned, it won’t be long until it drains my life energy,” responded the white haired girl with a sad tone. “I’m almost out of magic power and Nightmare will start to drain my life energy once it realize that. So, you should know that I have nothing left to lose,” explained the girl as she readies Nightmare for another attack. “To think that I was thrilled the moment Nightmare came to my side but then irony strikes hard. I’m riddled with sadness not because I want to but because it is I have to begin with,” noted the girl once again with a sad tone as she gestures Nightmare to attack which prompts the beast to flare up in flames. However, Nightmare’s presence isn’t what Nathan and Evalina need to worry about as the demon lord was the first to initiate an attack as it fires off dozens of flaming fireballs at both of them. With quick thinking, Nathan guided his alicorn companion to successfully dodge the oncoming attacks with great speed and grace. After averting the attack, Nathan took notice of Nightmare’s readiness to launch an attack which prompted him to take the initiative and gestured his alicorn companion Midnight to charge up a water based attack that was immediately directed towards the flaming beast, Nightmare. Nightmare, the flaming representation of horror and dark dreams, snorts in arrogance in response to the attack as it proceeds to engulf itself with flames. Without warning, Nightmare unleashed a fiery blast of its own that clashed furiously with Midnight’s water blast. It is within this moment that Evalina’s own summoned beast namely Atlantis began to make its move upon Evalina’s instruction to use the opportunity given by Nathan to strike at the demon lord while he and Midnight keep Nightmare at bay. The white haired girl noticed Atlantis dodging the demon lord’s fireball attacks and begun to wonder about their next move. However, assumption is not enough to predict the strategy that Evalina had in mind as Atlantis finally made its move by dashing forward and wrapped itself around one of the demon lord’s legs and proceeded to sink its teeth into it which sent the demon lord flailing in pain. In response to Atlantis’ attack, Evalina conjured a sword made out of water and took a huge leap off the back of her beast, Atlantis and at that precise moment took a sharp swipe at the demon lord’s arm which in return severed it and causing the demon lord to writhe in pain even more. Strangely enough, the white haired girl did nothing as her beast flail around, almost knocking her off its shoulder but the girl held on without a sign of falling off as she keeps her tearful glare fixed on Evalina. At this point, the resulting impact between attacks by Nightmare and Midnight caused a bright flash as steam emits from the opposing forces. When the attack subsided and all that is left is but a cloud of steam, Nightmare clopped back a few inches while still remaining afloat in midair. Suddenly, the steam cloud began to dissipate at a quick pace as it appears that the vapors are being absorbed by Nightmare as the trail of steam travels towards Nightmare’s body. Without so much of a gesture by its master, Nightmare unleashed a cloud of purple smoke through its mouth that begins to shroud the bright daylight sky in darkness as the purple smoke makes its way towards Nathan and Evalina. “It appears Nightmare has had enough of both of you.,” remarked the white haired girl with a sad tone as she remains sitting on the shoulder of the demon lord that after sustaining multiple attacks is now seen crouched on its knees. “You will now bear witness to the truly horrifying power of Nightmare as the darkness robs you both of your senses and plunge both of you into eternal nightmares. Once trapped within the darkness, Nightmare will manifest your greatest fears and haunt you with them,” explained the white haired girl with tears trickling down her cheeks. “I pity both of you. The very least I can do now is to tell you my name as a sign of my respect for your effort. Let it be known that Ophelia Photine has defeated you,” remarked Ophelia with a bow as she witness with teary eyes, the darkness engulfing both Nathan and Evalina. The showdown between Lucid and the archer girl, Michiko appears to have reached a breath taking climax as both stare at each other with great intensity as Michiko has her pressured imbued arrow aimed at Lucid who appears to be on the defensive as the ribbon in his hand proves to be as such. Michiko remained poised to strike him as she listens intently to his words. "We've been at odds end ever since you got on the train. This is a battlefield where one stands and the other falls. That's all there is to it. You may have strong bonds with your friends but in battle those bonds are severed by death," responded Michiko with a serious tone as she draws the string back even further in her bid to increase the impact. Within moments, the sight of the arrow dashing towards Lucid is all there is as it darts towards him with all its might. In that split moment, Lucid manages to muster enough strength to conjure a thick bunch of ribbons that function as a shield which took the strong impact head on. The sound of ripping cloth could be heard as a bright flash emits from the impact where the once hardened ribbon defense is ripped apart by the force. However, the ribbon had served its purpose as it had absorb enough of the impact to allow Lucid to evade the incoming arrow that whiz pass him at that moment. Although he had escaped being blown to smithereens, Lucid is still not out of trouble yet as a blur zoomed pass him only for Michiko to appear above him as another arrow is readied by her bow to launch another attack at him. "This is the end for you," remarked Michiko with a cold tone as she release the arrow and watch as it darts towards Lucid, the arrow emitting a burning aura around it as it went. At this moment, another battle is taking place in another part of the forest as the members of Fairy Tail namely Lucy, Loki, Cancer, Roger and Vivi are at odds end with a member of the dark guild Dying Breed, whose hair magic is proving to be a difficult obstacle to surmount. Not only are Lucy and rest already had their hands full dealing with a hair made dragon but now they have to face the fury of a hair phoenix that burst its way out of the dismember remains of the hair dragon and is now laying waste with a flurry of hair feathers which turn darted towards Lucy and the rest. The girl watched in delight as Lucy flipped away some of the feathers with her whip while the others attempt to dodge them. “Beautiful. Simply beautiful. The way you flip them away and the way you dodge the feathers. This is definitely art,” remarked the girl with a satisfied tone. Her enjoyment of the scenario had left her unprepared for the plan that Lucy had concocted as though she had no intention of controlling the Phoenix at all. Due to that moment of weakness, Cancer and Roger took that opportunity to strike at the Phoenix, chipping away at its feather bullets as they make their way towards the beast. However, even though the girl is distracted, it is revealed that the Phoenix itself has a consciousness of its own to point that it delivers its own countermeasure by unleashing huge feather like spikes at both Cancer and Roger which could be seen darting out of its mouth where the spikes looked big enough to crumble mountains. While Cancer and Roger are preoccupied with the Phoenix, Lucy led her team of Loki and Vivi to attack the source of the hair Phoenix, namely the girl from the dark guild. The girl at this point was indulging herself with the suffering of others was at one point clueless of the assault made by Lucy and the rest only to notice advance a bit late as Loki fires a blast of light at her. Though caught off guard, the girl somehow manages to form a wall of hair in front of her which impacted with the blast thus preventing it from hitting her. “That was close,” thought the girl as she watch her hair wall sizzle with smoke. “Your attack has inspired me to kill you all in the most beautiful way possible,” remarked the girl as remains of her hair proceeded to dig itself into the ground. Without warning, dozens and dozens of sharp giant flowers of all types of variety began to sprout out of the ground as they surround Lucy, Vivi and Loki. “Garden of Eden,” announced the girl softly as she watch them being consumed by the array of hair made flowers. ((Sorry everyone. I've been crammed with work yet again to the point of not having much free time to myself. I guess I brought this upon myself for having three jobs at one time. While my main job is mostly project based, the other two is mostly freelancing. However, my poor judgment in planning didn't foresee a whole slew of work for the months to come. So, I would like to deeply apologize for my lateness in response and for my sudden disappearance. To all my dear roleplaying friends, sorry for the inconveniences caused.))

Roger dodged a spike only to be hit by another on the arm. "Arghhh, dammit!!" he exclaimed, clutching his wounded arm as he jumped back instinctively. He winced slightly at the pain the movement caused. "Shoot..." he muttered under his breath as he looked down at his arm, glancing up every so often to dodge a couple of spikes flying his way. Vivi widened her eyes at the sight of the strangely looking flora that sprouted out to surround them. "What the----?!?"She could not believe what she saw. The beauty of the flowers made of hair was astonishing, yet at the same time, it was so.... Vivi shuddered, pulling in a bit, and finished her thoughts aloud. "It's creepy!!!" she burst out, whacking at the hair-flower closest to her with her violin bow, in a way that was like telling it to back off, "IT'S CREEPY AND FILTHY AND DISGUSTING!!!"((OOC: whoa, where did all these pages come from... Celina watched him, noticing his posture clench up as his words. "You're wrong..." She told him softly. "You're so wrong...." She shook her head. "I can't imagine what happened to you to make you like this but you're wrong. They make us stronger. Though corruption destroys and overwhelms it's not the end. The Destruction seemed to win because it blinds our vision but... there's always hope..." She told him softly stepping and reaching forward as if to touch him before deciding against it, not sure it would be taken to kindly.
Devi reached out and grabbed Celina's arm as if to stop her. "Don't..." She told him. "You're right... I haven't... but I can..." She told him slowly. "What could of happened to turn you into the... the twisted person you have become. This isn't right, don't you see?" She asked as she dropped in, sliding her hand back into her glovelette. "You see... I have another power, a bonus if you will..." She told him stepping forward in front of Celina, as if protecting her. She was gentle and kind, almost too kind.... especially for something like this. "You don't have to... I can see everything you've been though in minutes... more than I've already seen at least..." She told him quietly, glancing at the cloth.
"If you were sorry you would do something about it. Rein... she trusted you, counted on you, put her life in your hands, I don't know what happened, but I can guarantee you the people you think you're doing this for wouldn't want this..." She spoke quietly.
Taura reached forward, grabbing Devi as the wall started rising beneath her. She pulled her away, watching as the dome formed. Her eyes were quick, surveying everything and acting without hesitation. "Wings of Earth, Fire and Air." Three sets of wings formed on her back, one green, one orange the other red. "Earthquake." She pointed towards the rock tome that started to tremble and crack as she began to, slowly break it down. "Radar." She closed her eyes, sensing the direction of the fire. "Vacuum." She pointed in the direction the fire was coming from, immediately all oxygen and any other matter was drained from between the space between them and the fire. She had taken care of all attacks but was draining herself quick...
"Celestial Dragon's Roar!" Celena cut in, firing at the weakest point of the barrier.
"Evaporating Flames." Devi spoke grimly, glancing worriedly at Taura as she shot a blase at the flames with slowly started to evaporate as water would. With a loud cry from all three the dome crumbled and the fire was gone. All three were gasping for breath, weak and low on magic. Slowly Devi stood up, her gloves in her back pocket. "Stop this..." She said softly, "Let's settle this between us... You're memories, your cause... let me see it, prove to me your right. If you're right, I'll join you. If not... you call this off..." She told him slowly.
"Devi You can't...." Celina started but was silenced from a glare from the younger member who held out her bare hand. "Do we have a deal?" Cancer set his mouth into a grim line as he watched the bullets, continuing to cut everything that came their way, slowly moving closer to the pheonix as he continued to fight them off. He looked like he was struggling, but loving ever minute of it, since he enjoyed cutting hair and this... this was beautiful hair indeed.
"Hate to break it to you darling." Loki looked at the girl. "But a spirit can't die... and neither is anyone else today!" He told her, looking over at her, balling his fists. "Regulus... grant me with your presence." He cried out as he shot another blast as the light formed the shape of a lion that galloped at the girl, darting through her flowers with ease. "No... you're wrong" He told her firmly. "Even in death, the ones we care about never really leave us... they still give us strength." He insisted firmly. His eyes widened as she appeared above him, giving him no time to thing. He rolled away after she shot, "Rock Ribbon." He panted, a strin of ribbone made from rocks steaming up from around him, knocking the arrow sideways and off bath as another slinked up, wrapping around the girl, binding her arms and wrapping her in ribbons of rock.

In The Guild...Levy frowned at Sting "Don't call me little Fairy" She said with frustration. Looking at Rouge she spoke once again, "If you guys start anything, I'm not afraid to fight back. However, I'm up for some fun" She said with a cheeky smile. Zeon came over and she smiled at him, saying "It's okay Zeon, they've promised to behave!"
Rogue looked at Levy and the others. When Zeon spoke to him he said "I have no interest in having fun. However I will stay here and keep an eye on Sting, so don't try anything funny..." he said with a warning looking his red eyes. Rogue was aware that what Zeon had said was an insult but he didn't care about that. I care about nothing but Gajeel... Rouge thought to himself not for the first time. On The Mission...Evalina was running out of magic because she had created so many 'Beasties'. Knowing this fight may still go on for a while, she decided to get rid of Atlantis and create another katana. Know duel-wielding, Evalina advanced on the demon again, slashing at the demons other leg and arm."Nathan! how are you going up there!?" She asked just as everything went dark. The last thing she heard before everything went dark was the girl saying her name. Evalina's last sane thought was Ophelia, that's a pretty name for someone so sad... Suddenly, Evalina was surrounded by her parents screaming for her to help them as they burst into flames. Evalina screamed and covered her eyes. She then bent into the foetal position and began crying. Quickly, the scene changed to her standing in an street with a group of men (presumably from a dark guild) advance towards her say things like "ooooh the little girl wants to protect her village ayeee?" with a drunken slur. Evalina fell on her side and wept to herself, utterly helpless under the power of the darkness...
Leontus and Rein watched as a wave of dark purple mist spread over the group they had been walking towards. Inside he could hear Evalina panicking. Turning to Rein, he said"It would appear the young girl is stronger than she looks...What should we do? I could probably eat this magic like I did the other dark magic but I still have all the magic energy from that. I'm not sure if I should consume so much dark magic in such a short period of time..." and then waited for Rein's reply. He had not known her long but he already respected her opinion. Leon decided to think calmly about the situation. Evalina and her friend appeared to be trapped in a purple smog causing them to have hallucinations. Hmmm, maybe I should attack the girl first to give them time to fight back... he thought as he waited. ((OOC: YAAAAY!~ We're back!))

Out of bad habit, Rein brushed her fingers through her hair as Leontus spoke. Upon doing so, she felt some loose twigs and leaves in her hair. Feeling slightly embarrassed by the fact her hair had been in a mess for some time now, she quickly tidied it up before answering Leontus' initial question with a nod. "Yes! Goodness, you have no idea how long I've been wanting to go help out my nakama in the train, but something has been stopping me, as if it doesn't want me to go," she exclaimed loudly, mainly out of frustration and confusion because of the day's series of events. A little embarrassed by her sudden and unusual outburst, she turned her attention towards the train wreck. Gesturing with her hand for Leontus to follow, she made her way over to the train in a slow jog and stepped inside. She was about to reply to Leontus' suggestion, but was interrupted by Nathan...
Inside the train, Nathan was completely fed up with the opposing mage. There was simply no convincing her. "You're wrong. How else would you be able to summon Nightmare in the first place if you had no control? You really are an ignorant woman. You're simply not worth my energy," he said, screwing his nose up in disgust. Every creature could be controlled, to at least some extent. With Nathan still on the Alicorn's back, Midnight rared up and released its charged up attack, blasting Nightmare with a powerful blast of water. But to no avail. As the water hit Nightmare's furious fire blast, a massive screen of smoke was created, blinding everyone it engulfs. Midnight snorted in disapproval and flew up a little to try to rid of the steam. As it began to dissipate, it could be seen that none other than Nightmare itself was absorbing the steam.
With its power restored, Nightmare released a purple cloud of smoke which shrouded the sky in darkness and began to move towards Nathan and Evalina. Nathan looked the girl in the eyes. "Pity?" he echoed in disbelief. "Pity is the absolute last things we want from you. So don't you dare pity us," was the last thing he said before he and Evalina were shrouded in the darkness of the purple fog. Nathan commanded Midnight to land. It had done its job and it was time to bring out the big guns. It was risky seeing as how Nathan had only one summon left before his magic power was completely gone. Midnight went back into its soul orb and Nathan pulled out another. He had to act fast, he could feel he was losing himself in the smog. Holding it in his hand, the orb began to glow a feint shade of red and without warning, a giant blast of light erupted from the orb. As the light faded, a massive, flaming Phoenix emerged. It spread its flaming wings and it flared up in a bright light, countering the purple smoke. This was Nathan's strongest summonable creature and he was nearing his end of magic, he had to make the most of its power.
Everything was starting to go as planned. The group had split into two and everything was looking good. That is, until the opposing hair mage had the brilliant idea of summoning huge hair flowers from the ground. Because Lucy's magic wasn't in her specifically, but linked to her indirectly through her keys, she was vulnerable to these kind of physical attacks and got scooped up by one of the hair flowers. This caused her to get up-skirted and unintentionally flash everyone around her. Her face turned bright red as she realised and squealed, pushing her skirt between her legs. "Kyaah! What the hell!! This feels so gross!!!" she screamed, keeping the flower from closing around her with both her arms and legs outstretched. She still had enough magic power to summon a second Spirit, and she knew who would be good for the job. She quickly pulled out a key from her key chain and called, "Open! Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!!" and twisted the key, summoning the Celestial Spirit, Virgo.
Enraged by the small girl's cheerful attitude at a time like this, Juvia delivered her a strong, boiling attack. Which proved futile in the end as Romina directed a mass of cold water at Juvia's boiling body and countered the attack, returning Juvia to her solid-body form. Without warning Romina launched another attack, with two water-based dolphins this time. Distracted by the one tearing towards and attacking her beloved Gray, Juvia called out, "Gray-sama!!" in distress before getting attacked herself. She fell heavily to the ground, still watching Gray get attacked and not being able to do anything about it. Before the dolphin locked onto her could attack any further, Juvia flicked her wrist and sliced it in half. She stood up, flicking her wrist in Gray's direction, doing the same with his dolphin. Swaying slightly, she looked up at Romina with her dark, enraged eyes. "Water Nebula!!!" she demanded, raising one hand up and summoning four waves that rush at Romina with tremendous force and blast her into the air. She was hurting the people she loved. Juvia wanted to end this now.
Jason had gotten the jump on Eiko in a more successful manner than he'd thought possible. With one of his arms tightened around her chest and his legs clutched around her waist, he'd gotten Eiko into a vulnerable position with his claw poised under chin. Or, so he thought. It took him a while to gather what was going on, but with some careful thought, he finally deducted what she had done. He watched the spear dived for the two of them, set for a course to pierce the both of them. Was she really going to sacrifice herself in order to simply defeat him? No, she couldn't be that stupid, right? "Idiot. As if I'd let you have all the fun," he responded in a calmer fashion than the situation at hand asked for. This was an easy on to avoid, or so he hoped. He flapped his wings and pulled himself away from Eiko into a hovering position just above the ground and then pushed Eiko forward with his feet away from the targeted point of the spear. He was familiar with her magic, now. She was out of danger, but he certainly wasn't. It was a game of cat and mouse, now. Knowing she would probably command the spear after him or something of that manner, he flew up high into the sky, poked his tongue out at her and called out, "Catch me if you can!" ((Sorry for the double quote, I proof-read and edited since no one had replied. x3 I'm still angry at you for replying before I posted this, Badger. >3<))
