Elise watched as Fenrir preformed the skill, it certainly looked strong and useful. It looked like Lightning Bolt... if the skill took steroids. She knew it would take some time before she could master the skill. A lot of time, in fact, at least she had all of the time in the world.

Elise took a deep breath and closed her eyes, solely concentrating on pulling out enough energy to preform the attack successfully. As she began focusing her energy into her right arm, however it wasn't nearly enough though. So she had to increase the output.

The woman opened her eyes and looked at a patch of grass 10 feet away and began to draw out her energy and focus it int her right arm, which condensed to her open hand. From a normal view, Fenrir would see a great amount of crimson electricity surrounding her right hand. She lifted it up, struggling to keep up the power that she was currently holding and fired off a beam of crimson lightning at the patch of grass. However, she was still struggling to keep up the beam.

Suddenly, Elise increased the output of energy and it became easier to sustain the skill. A smile grew on her face as she continued to blast at the ground with the continuous beam of crimson lightning. Finally, she stopped when she realized that she was going overboard. There was now a hole in the ground 3 feet deep, the circumference of the hole was singed and reeked of burned dirt.

She turned back to Fenrir, "I'm finished, whats next?"

GOOD? BAD? ═══════════════☠═══════════════ Fenrir raised his hand again. "Its strong, but we can make this attack even stronger still." Sparks of lightning surged down Fenrir's arm and he pointed it up at the sky as a wide beam of lightning was summoned forth. The loud hum of its power blasted through the air until it punctured up through the cloud above, leaving a large hole in the white mass. "This is the Lightning Beam, and it is the most powerful ranged attack I have been able to master."

Description: Here the power from Lightning Blast has been upgraded, making it into a beam twice as wide as before, and much more damaging. Targets hit head-on with this skill will experience a fantastic amount of pain and be stunned after the skill ends. Also, nearly missing with this skill also has some effect. Because of the high amount of voltage, small lightning bolts can arc from the beam to someone standing within a few feet of it, causing shocks a little bit more damaging than those of Lightning Bolt technique. This skill can be ended prematurely by the user.)

When Elise heard that there was another upgrade to the skill she had trouble mastering, she sighed. There certainly was a limit to what one Novice can learn, but at least she had the opportunity to learn the skill. Elise nodded and got to work.

Elise knew that if she were to master the skill, she had to do it by clearing her mind, and only thinking about focusing her pure energy into a beam. But it was a huge beam of electricity, and the thought of it just unnerved her. With all of the thought in her head about her not being able to do it just messed her up even further, if that was possible.

Once Elise cleared her mind, she began to draw out the necessary power to preform the skill. The only thing Fenrir could see was her body completely surrounded in electricity, almost like an aura. She had the necessary power to master the skill, but it was hard to redirect it to her arm.

Elise was still facing the difficulty of harnessing the power that she needed for the skill. She had even more difficulty keeping that power from dying out. It seemed like she was being drained of her energy.

When Elise realized that she couldn't keep using her energy to feed the power that she needed, she let it go. If she was going to master the skill, she had to do it quickly. Yet it had taken so much of her energy just to start the skill up.

Elise took a deep breath before continuing, she had to be ready to finish the skill once and for all to move on with her training. So within a blink of an eye, the young Succubus began to draw out the power once more, but at least this time, she was able to move it slowly to her arm.

Once the energy was in her arm, Elise tried to shoot it out, but it seemed to do it on its own. An enormous beam of crimson electricity shot out of her arm and it wouldn't stop, no matter how hard she tried. It was also hard to control, the beam was forcing her to move backward due to its power.

Just when she thought the cause was lost, she resumed control of the beam and stopped it. There was an utter silence as she tried to reflect on what had happened.

"Whats important is that you did it, which means I can now depend on you in a fight." He almost seemed proud of her, but Fenrir quickly moved on to try and mask the appreciation. "Now, the rest of the ranged techniques should come easy to you but I'll show you a few tricks that others wouldn't able to pull off. But first you need to master the electro-barrage." Fenrir raised his hand a fired several lightning bolts from his hand in rapid succession across the ground. "Its very similar to the Ki Barrage technique, though with less power. Its usefullness comes only with what you can do once you learn how to control it."

Elise smiled slightly, that was more than she could have asked for Fenrir to say. However, as a novice, she was still limited to the weaker opponents.
When Fenrir showed her the electro barrage, she thought of how much fear she could strike in her opponents when they see several bolts of lightning shooting at them. With ease, she shot out several bolts of lightning rapidly. She didn't know where they were going, and she didn't care.

Fenrir fired several electro-bolts at a far away tree. However they all missed by several feet, probably confusing Elise for a moment until she could see that they'd all stopped in mid-air. So instead they were like bubbles of electrical energy, suspended in the air around the tree like an underwater mine-field. Fenrir's open hand pointed at the tree, and then he clenched it into a fist. "Hellzone-collision." Immediately all of electro-bolts shot into the tree at the same time and created a large explosion. Shockwaves from the blast rang through the air and blew their hair back as it passed.

Instead of hitting the opponent, the numerous balls of lightning simply stay suspended in the air around them. Then the user clenches their open palm into a fist and the electro-bolts pull themselves into the opponent in unison)

When Elise saw that Fenrir had missed so badly, she thought his vision must be blurring up. But then she saw what he had meant and her jaw dropped, Fenrir turned a weak skill into a great one, and now she would be able to do it as well.

Elise tried to reflect on what Fenrir did, once he fired it, he used his energy to suddenly stop the bolts of lightning in midair. Then he faced his open hand to the tree and clenched his fist. Imitating this probably would increase her chance in learning the skill.

Elise took a deep breath before starting. Then she suddenly shot out ten bolts of lightning at a far away tree, it wasn't exactly a big one, but it would have to do. When Elise tried to stop them, she was almost too late. The bolts had just passed right behind the tree when they suddenly came to a stop...

Elise clenched her fist and suddenly the bolts of lightning all shot at the tree, colliding together for horrific results. The tree seemed minor in comparison to the small explosion that decimated the tree.

Elise took out the bright pink orb and closed her eyes just like last time. She saw Liliana with a man that had long white hair, but Katsuro wasn't near her. Then she opened her eyes and looked at Fenrir, "I didn't see him with her, so if she really is the 'arch mage of the spire' wouldn't he have taken her there? But she's no longer there...."

Return to me only when you've succeeded." With that Fenrir dismissed Elise by turning from her to continue his own training. "Now that I think about it, Gunner is Adept rank himself..." He whispered to himself, but then smirked. "Tch, what am I thinking? She can't be him yet."
