Kami chuckled as Keilin walked up, lifting a hand in greeting. "Oh, you're not intruding. It's everyone's beach." she smiled good naturedly. "I don't think we've met before...I'm Kami!" she said, and extended her hand, the smile remaining, glancing down for a moment as Keanu and Chata met, feeling very glad. He hadn't seen another gryphon in a while, and perhaps he would make a new friend.
Keanu chirped to Chata, his stumy tail wagging in it's comical little way. He fluttered his wings, and took a similar posture, his sturdy paws digging into the sand slightly. Keanu was a very affable soul, and would never act aggressively without provocation. He flitted his wings, watching Chata through his glassy black eyes, waiting for him to move first.

Keilin smiled back, feeling glad that this other woman had greeted her so warmly. Feeling embarassed of her stammerings at first, she blushed a little more, as her face was already blushing and tired out from running at first. "Course... not, nice to meet you now, then!" Keilin huffed out. "I'm Keilin, that's a pretty cute name, Kami," she continued. She then took her hand and shook it gently, removing it and pointing to the two Aerandir instead, stifling a chuckle. "My, silly gryphons... is it Simon Says time?" she offered.
Chata shook his body, feathers rustling even more so than they had been in the wind coming from the ocean. He stood up and quickly tried to dive under Keanu's low body; it just seemed like such a challenge to him! - to see if he could fit under there. It tempted him so, truly. This all happened - but to no avail; Chata accidentally crashed his skull into the chest of Keanu; though not hard, as he took caution in case he failed to dive completely under, and bounced off lightly from Keanu, now on his back, sprawled out.

Keanu squawked as this happened, and flopped over, the wind knocked out of him a moment before he hopped up again, and leapt onto Chata playfully, swatting him before darting up into the air. He chirped in his sharp voice, daring his new friend to chase.
Kami chuckled, and blushed a little at the compliment. "Thank you! I like your name, too." she said, and looked to the gryphons as well, though noticing how out of breath Keilin seemed. "Would yopu like to sit? I have a towel you can sit on." she offered, motioning back to it.

Chata gave a sort of grin that a bird makes, cheerfully chirping, and then flapping his wings quite a bit before lifting off in pursuit of Keanu. Dare to dare a darer? His eyes seem to convey the determination he had to tackle his friend out of the air after successfully caught him from the chase; the competition. Eyes focused on the other Aerandir, Chata flew streamlined towards Keanu, tail shivering fast in the air behind him.
Keilin scratched the back of her neck, shy at first. "Thanks... I'm okay here, really, I am," she said, and convinced that she had to give a suitable excuse, she added, "I'd get it more dirty, it's fine, no problem!" She smiled and laughed shakily, but softly. Her attention turned to the two Aerandir who were now in the air, playing a little game of tag...

Keanu screeched, and darted upwards, fleeing from Chata quickly, eager to see if he could keep up. When he had played with Osusuki he had found evading the fox-crane by air had been simple, and would now try the same with Chata. He glanced back, and then dove downwards as he got high enough, swooping down towards Keilin and Kami.
Kami chuckled. "Oh, it's no problem, but, if you change our mind, it's there--AAH!" she ducked as Keanu swooped down, quite startled, having caught sight of him at the last moment. He soared up again, giving a high-pitched screech, his unique sort of laugh. "Hey, watch it!" she cried, turning to watch him regain altitude.

Keilin blinked, a little surprised. She was usually quiet throughout her life and barely screamed, so she wasn't used to shouts of surprise such as Kami's. She managed to put a weird, disfigured smile on her face, looking at Kami - then at Keanu - then back to Kami. "Fun?" she said, blinking a few more times. Keilin rubbed the side of her head, brushing against her ear.
Chata chirped a sort of hoarse chirp; almost like a war-cry. What fun! He couldn't do this with Keilin or Roladex or that other griffin Mahal at home - they were too large for that or couldn't fly, but now! He had actual competition! Chata smirked and flew at Keanu full of confidence that he would outfly this opponent. He chirped that loud, hoarse war-cry again, thinking to himself that he was catching up to the stout Aerandir with every second passed. Some unknown instinct told Chata that he would soon gain advantage over Keanu if he wasn't caught soon due to being tired out from flying; whether or not this instinct proved to be true, though, was not yet known.

Kami blushed immediately afterwards, realizinf how stupid she must have sounded. "Sorry about that. Din't see him till it was too late." se said, providing a crappy little explanation.
Keanu circled high above the sands, catching little thermals, gradually travelling higher and higher, all the while keeping an eye on Chata, just s determined to outfly his companion...

((Sorry I disappeared for a bit, my dad caught me on and yelled at me and grounded me even more than I already was.. XDD lmao))
Keilin smiled and chuckled, a bit embarassed that her expression gave away her feeling of awkwardness. "Perfectly fine, Kami. Relax." Her head tilted up towards the flying forms overhead, blinking several times in awe of the speed the two had acquired. "Aren't they getting... a bit too high?" she asked a bit worriedly. Keilin frowned slightly and rubbed her nose.
Chata hesitated for a moment in the air; looking back down. He spotted Keilin and Kami; they were quite far away. Chata chirped out in annoyance and dared not to go higher in case something went wrong, acknowledging the almost frightened look on Keilin's face. Chata circled lazily around the air below Keanu, keeping his eyes on his target above...

Kami rubbed her neck, smiling sheepishly. "Thanks..." she sighed softly, and blinked at the comment, turning her head up as well. Frowning a little, she shook her head. "He's always doing that, but he won't go much higher...I don't think." she said, keeping a close eye on her little gryphon.
And she had been right. Keanu began to coast down again, careful to keep a good distance away from Chata. He let out a screech, and drifted closer, before suddenly darting down towards the sand, out towards the surf.

Keilin nodded, head turning to the clear line between sky and land off in the distance; beyond the gryphons. The sun was coming down; a little too quickly for Keilin's tastes. She sighed, wishing there was more hours in a day. Several fingers went to her hair, twirling it nervously. "I think it's getting late, Kami... we should go back to our homes for supper and whatnot." She looked at Kami through the corners of her eyes, feeling guilty that she had to go so soon; Roladex would be home waiting for her right about now to make dinner for everyone. "Chataaa?" she called up to him.
Chata grunted, taking one last look at Keanu. He would catch him next time for sure. Swooping back down to Keilin, Chata landed on her head and swished his tail around contentedly. He sounded a somewhat friendly chirp to his rival and lowered his head, resting on his paws and Keilin's hair as the two started inching away from the beach.

Kami blinked, and realized how low the sun was in he sky. "I suppose you're right." she said, and shielded her eyes with one hand, looking up to Keanu. "Keanuuu...come on." she said, knowing he had watched Chata leave. Mazin would probably be wondering where they were as well, not that he could complain. "I was nice to meet you. We should meet again sometime." Kami said, smiling to Keilin.
Keanu chirruped in disappointment as he glided back down to his owner, letting her gather him into her arms. It seemed that every time he met someone new, they always had to stop right in the middle of a game. He chirped at Chata, a cheerful good-bye, hoping that they would meet again.

Since Sy-chan was barred up in her house, lucky Sydney was the one who had to take Delta out for her lady-like stroll. Needless to say, Sydney was less than pleased since the impish creature pranced along slowly, and Sydney had long strides. Every few steps, Sydney had to pause and wait, and she didn't have the sort of motherly patience as her sister.
"Delta. Look, you don't have to prance everywhere. You just look silly."
Delta glared at Sydney as she insulted her regal look and air by calling her silly, but decided it was time she picked up the pace. After all, ladies had to have their excercise so they stayed in shape.

After Fae's vist earlier, Kiro had decided that enough was enough on the story-telling front. It was time for a wander, which he hadn't actually done for several days. He needed to get out more.
So, pulling on his shoes, and putting Tsukai gingerly in a bag so the jarred Aerandir could come too, Kiro set off on his little adventure.
It was Delta he saw first, his gaze then moving up to take in the woman with her. He wasn't sure who she was, it certainly wasn't Sy. He paused gently, before moving towards her, his face sporting a friendly smile. It may not be Sy, but to be around Delta, it must be someone Sy knew well.

Being the incredibly social creature she was, at first Sydney ignored Kiro, but seeing Delta prance up to Kiro and fluff her feathers so as to look more elegant and graceful, Sydney resigned herself to her fate. Besides, this man didn't look so twisted or degraded as most. He almost looked innocent. Clearly this couldn't be the b*****d doing her sister.
"Hello."
Oh yes. Social charmer.

Kiro couldn't help but smile as Delta pranced towards him. Without thinking of the other woman for a moment, he crouched, offering a hand towards Delta should she decide she required a scratch to go with the elegance. In any event, he hoped she'd know it was well meant, and not offensive.
Then he glanced up to the other woman from the crouched position. "Hi. I'm Kiro, I don't think we've met." He felt an ear twitch. Why did it always have to betray him like that? Alas, it twitched again, seemingly to spite him.
