He smiled and pulled Shilo over to him, blowing on her stomach one more time before changing her diaper. Done with that he looked to Moya and handed her the clothes, wondering if she would be able to dress Shilo on her own without problems. "Your turn."

Moya took the dress from him and looked at it a moment, figuring out how her dresses get put on. She got Shilo's head in the right spot, but had the thing backwards so she turned it around and put her arms through the dress. She put on the blue bottoms and turned her around to show Nik. "So there mr. smarty pants."
Shilo looked down at the dress and started to pull at it, not liking the feel of clothing on her skin.

He grinned and kissed Moya before grabbing Shilo again, kissing her cheeks and blowing on her stomach one more time. "I know clothes don't feel right baby, but you need them in this form. Even if you can get away with just a diaper, clothes are a little necessary." Seeing that she was big enough he held her against one arm so it looked like she was sitting against his forearm, playing with her hand.

Shilo felt like pouting but didn't. She wiggled in his arm and smiled, pulling at his shirt playfully. She yawned and looked up at her dad, starting to fight being sleepy.
Moya kissed back and smiled, standing up and tickled Shilo's sides and kissing her cheek. "I think its time for baby to have a nap."

He smiled and nodded when he saw the look on Shilo's face, the sleepiness in her eyes. "I'll go put her down." Kissing Moya one more time he took Shilo to her room, not putting her in the crib immediately. Seeing his mother's chair made him stop, hesitating before sitting down and rocking slowly in it while still holding her, grabbing her pacifier and holding it up to her. "I have a feeling you'll be a daddy's girl. Only you and your mommy have ever made me this protective."

Shilo pulled the pacifier out of her mouth and wiggled about, not wanting to sleep. She sat up and pulled on his shirt again, trying to do something with her hands.

He gave a soft chuckle at that, pulling her hands away from his shirt and playing with them, waving them around a little bit. "You are just a little bundle of energy who doesn't know when it's time to lay down." Picking her up again he set her next to the letter blocks he had pulled out with Moya, kneeling next to her before shifting to his wolf form, moving the blocks with his nose. He was trying to put together words with no hands.

Shilo watched him play with the blocks for a little bit until he spelled something out. An idea hit her and she started to move the blocks around, spelling out, 'I love you daddy.'

He froze when he saw what she had written out, a little shocked that she could do that and she was only about two days old. She was going fast. Shifting back he moved so he was sitting behind her, setting her in his lap so she could still play with the blocks, hugging her tightly but not too tight. "I love you too, Shilo."

She got her point across so she started to stack the blocks and chew on them.

He laughed softly at that, pulling the next block out of her hand. "This is not food. We've got other stuff to chew on that's actually meant for that, and you don't have any teeth anyway." Taking the blocks he turned them into a pyramid, making words at the same time.

Shilo watched her dad, learning how to do things while also learning to make words. She held one block in her hand as she watched, finishing one of his words with it.

He watched her place the block and nodded, kissing her head. "Good job, baby. Very good job." It was probably a good thing he had so many letter blocks. He had been constructing paragraphs by the time he was three, even when he looked like nearly a newborn.

She crawled out of his lap and grabbed the blocks, thinking really hard as she moved them around. She looked at it a few times, switching things here and there before moving to the side. 'Get mommy please, I want her to see this too.'

He read her note for a minute then nodded, kissing her head one more time before propping her against the pillows. Assuring himself she was fine he got up and went back to his room, smiling at Moya. "Shilo wants you to come see something."
