Karin watched as he wiped all the blood off of himself, shiftling idly in place as she waited for him to finish. She blinked at his next question though, and glanced over at their trays. She bent down and set his on top of hers before picking them both up. Then she looked around for a moment until she spotted a drop off place for them. She smiled and nodded towards it. "Right there," she said as she walked towards it and set both trays down on the pile that'd been previously started by others. Then she went back to Suka, hands back in her pockets and playing with the X. Her headphones remained lopsided around her neck, forgotten for the moment. "So, where do you want to go now?" she asked, bouncing lightly on her feet again.

Keilantra's eyes widened as she stepped into the Dining Hall.She had just been shown the way here and was starving.She gazed around the huge room, looking especially at the large windows.She had her small puppy in her hands and her bag dropped to the floor.She reached down and picked it up.She walked over to the machine and swipped her card through it.She searched the menu and ordered a slice of pizza with a side salad and a lime soda.The food spat out and her mouth opened slightly.She shook her head and picked up the tray.Walking overr to the seats neer the wall with the windows she sat down on a blue seat cushion and looked around smilling abit.

Raine walked slowly through the doors of the dining hall, carefully dodging the other students as they walked in large groups around the hall. She was quite hungary, having not eating since she had arrived last night. She quickly ordered some fries and a drink and turned to face her next problem...where to sit. As she scanned the room she saw groups of friends talking and laughing, she sighed. Then she caught sight of a girl sitting near the window, Well, here I go she thoght, and walked over to introduce herself.

Suka watched her take the trays off and noted where she'd put them making sure to remember for next time they came here. He had no real suggestions as to where they should go next and so he just tood there thinking about wherethey could go. He assumed that she would want to go back to the courtyard but he could never be sure with a cat....never knew one for even as log as he knew Karin. "Somewhere quiet...quiet enough at least..." He said noting how quiet this pllace was subconciously. He did not know why he wanted quiet...but quiet was peaceful and he wwanted to rest for a bit.

Karin blinked, then glanced around. "Quiet..." she repeated to herself softly, then dropped her gaze to the floor. She was tempted to suggest the hot springs again, but he didn't seem too comfortable there. So instead she looked back at him, head tilted to the right. "What about an unpopulated section of the courtyard?" she asked, not really sure if that'd do. "Or... there's a forest around here that we could go in if you'd rather go there." She didn't have a preference, so whichever he chose would be perfectly fine with her." She blinked at him, head still tilted as she waited for a reply. Her tail was flicking absently behind her as she plunged her hands back into her pockets.

He thought them both over and of course he was going to pick the latter only because he would be more accustomed to it there. "The forest....would be better..." He said it quietly though even if it was an obvious choice he did not want it to sound that way. "It...would feel more at home to go there..." He tried to justify his choice of venues but he felt he failed in that. She did not say she preferred either one and sohe took a deep breath deciding for himself that he'd not been thinking only of himself...

Karin nodded knowingly at Suka's choice. She'd had a feeling that's what he'd end up choosing. She grinned and bobbed her head up and down over enthusiastically a few times. "Yes, that would be good," she said after a moment. Her primary thought was all the trees around that she could climb. She doubted they'd give off the same feel that the huge one in the courtyard had, but she didn't mind. A tree was a tree. Karin nodded towards the door, still smiling. "Are you ready to go then?" she asked as she started slowly towards it, looking over her shoulder at him as she moved.

Kumizu walked into the dining hall, holding the door open for Riiko. There was still a bit of awkwardness between them, even though it was less than before.
He stepped up to the machine and slid his card into it. "I'll just have a glass of water." In a couple of seconds, the machine spit out his card and he got his drink. He stepped aside, letting her get her order. Once they were situated, he asked, "Where would you like to sit?"

She walked up to the machine "Um i'll have a glass of milk and cookies"she replied and looked at him and gave a smile "My favorite since a kid"she said. She looked around the room once she had her food in her hands "Over there i guess"she said as she pointed to an area that had a large window by it but the fire was still near them since she was still cold.

Kumizu smiled. He looked over to where she pointed. The window would give them a nice view, and it was close to the fireplace, which he knew she wanted. "Sounds good to me." They walked over and Kumizu pulled the chair closest to the fire out for her. Once she'd sat, he hesitated, then chose a chair across the table from her. "I've only been in here once before. I didn't realize how beautifully lit this area is by the fire."

"I know and it looks so pretty at night with the lights all over the place"she said transfixed on everything for a few mintues before going back to her food. She took a bit of her cookie and a sip of milk, even if it tasted good, which it did, she wasn't really hungry. She looked back up at him her eyes meeting his without blushing for the first time since the akwardness. "So tell me more about yourself"she said to him wanting to know more about him badly.

Ah. Where to begin. Kumizu should have been prepared for this question, yet he never knew what he would answer when asked. The fact that he'd never been asked before now didn't help the situation much. "Well, I guess you can say I ran away from home. I never knew my mother, and my father... was not good at being a father. I'll tell you now I'm not human, but I don't know what race I am." He paused, looking down at his water. That's the worst part. Not knowing if there are others out there, that you might have a place you belong. "I pretty much move from place to place, so it was hard for me at first to get used to having full meals and a comfortable bed to sleep in. I've found myself sleeping by, or in, water more often, even when here." He gave a short laugh.
Kumizu picked up his water and took a sip. "Okay, you're turn. Tell me about yourself."

WowShe thought in her head He must get lonley, "Um me???"she said a bit shakey, never having told anyone. "Well let's see..."she said as she started out "My father was the prince, or rather soon to be king of the highest ranking fox deamon kingdom, a full blood. However he fell in love with my human mother, and had me, mind you he had run away from his kingdom because he was suppossed to marry another full blood fox princess and he loved my mother instead. When his advisors found him, they were outraged and said that if he came back to the castle, they wouldn't kill her or his new daughter. My father agreed and voged to meet her one day again. However my father's advisors lied and killed my mother as soon as they could and placed a curse on me. There is a tattoo on my back that will never go away and it means that i have this curse. This means that this locket" She said picking up the ying-yang heart locket around her neck. "Was given to me by my mother and is the only protection against the curse, which is that when i fall in love with someone then the locket will glow and open, there is a key to it in which that other person has to open a simailar box that i keep with me or i will die"She said. "Also to back to the story, my father found out that my mother died and killed himself but not before leaving me with all the belongings. The king advisors sent me away to an orphanage knowing that no one would ever love a girl like me, and they were right, no one ever adopted me"she said as she looked down. Tears formed in her eyes and she looked back up at him, wiping them away and gave a fake smile.

She has to find true love or she'll die... I've heard it used by so many women to so many men, yet she actually means it... Finding out that she had such noble heritage also surprised Kumizu. He felt angry about the curse. I know what it's like. I guess we have more in common than I thought... He wondered about her age for a moment, assuming it was nowhere close to his.
Kumizu was pushed back into reality as he saw Riiko try to hide tears. Under different circumstances, he might've smiled a little. She's not good at hiding it. He hesitated once again, but moved his chair next to her's. He brought a hand up, ungloved again, and wiped dry one eye. "You had two parents who loved you so much they risked their lives for you. Even when your father died, he still made sure you had his things. You should be proud of them."

"I am proud of them, i'd die for them a thousand times over, this other part of my heartiage, the royal part, i can't stand it"she said with a sigh. She looked around there was no one else there, and it was getting late, she looked at a clock, then back at him. "I have to go i'm afraid"she said as she stood back up and them smiled at him "Thanks for a nice night Kumizu"she said as she kissed his cheek and turned the other way walking back to her dorm. She turned around once more before leaving and gave a soft smile and a wave as she then dissapeared into the halls going to her dorm. ((okay um i have gtg for the night, gotta get up at 5:00, lol so pm me if you want, and goodnight))
