((The artist formerly known as Emperor NeoWing. He just did a namechange a few days ago. You've probably come across a post of his at one time or another here on BHG. He's the Gundam freak. But, yeah...he just started a guild of his own, that Ty, Strider, and I have joined. But I think Captain's privileges have gone to his head. lol))

((Ah, Neowing, yeah I've seen him around. I haven't really role played with him though. So your with Strider and Ty, helping him out? Cool. After I'm done with the planning my guild will be open to the public too, I hope it's just as good as I want it to be.))

((He's an alright player...he just spends too long on details. He's all fluff, no stuff! lol That's why his Gundam RP didn't do so well until Strider came up with his bad-a** villain. But then when the ideas started to dry up, I stepped in to reveal my character's shared history with Strider's baddie. And then we wrote this long complicated deal about what happened when they were younger, and so on and so forth. Anyhoo...we should get together with Ty and Strider and get a real RP going, sometime. Wulp, it's 3 in the morning where I'm at...so i'm'a hit the hay. I'll drop you a friend request real quick, though. Oh, and sorry for calling you an a**. sweatdrop I revise my statement. Your character is an a**, not you. lol))

"Death magic. Isn't that a cheerer-upper!" Ty remarked offhandedly, following after everyone. Though everything was obviously not alive and moving, she took out a sliver kris, leaving the other one on her belt. She wasn't ambidextrous. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, I suppose."

Orcus looked at Ty. "I've never been a religious man but if that's what you think then sure." Orcus picked up a handful of ash from the ground and sniffed it. "It's been quite a while. You can smell the crispness of life just over that of death." Orcus knew that after a while, life enveloped death magic the way that fungi enveloped old fruits.

"I've never been religious either.Plus, that's originally a poem about the Black Plague." Ty nodded, agreeing with herself. She wandered around and poked a rock. "Really? You can smell that?" Her ears perked up curiously and she went back over to Orcus, sniffing the ash, then proceeded to sneeze explosively.

Orcus looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "What do you think the poem refers to? It refers to the story of creation, when 'god' breathed into the nostrils of the man he made out of dirt and sand and made it live. It's one of the stories of creation of one of the most prominent religions during the Black Plague age." Orcus put down the ashes and pulled a tissue out from his sleeve. He handed it to Ty. "You can keep that and the scent that magic leaves isn't one can actually smell. It's something you feel, residual magic."

"Thbanks..." Ty sniffed and took the tissue thankfully. She turned and blew it rather loudly, crumpling it up and tossing it to the ground. "My nose...it burns...But I really thought it meant the Black Plague, not a god from it."

"Not to be nitpicky, but the phrase "ashes to ashes" really isn't a religious statement. It's simply states that from the Earth we came, so to the Earth we must one day return." Silas sniffed the air, and instantly regretted it after doing so. The stench of flames and death was overwhelming.

[[ *dies, falling behind* I swear you guys plan to be on at the same time or something. xD; ]]
Crimson followed everyone, listening more than speaking. The smell of burning buildings and bodies never really appealed to her, so she had to cover her nose once they entered what was left of the city. Things may have been growing back and coming back to life, but it still smelled terrible. "I didn't think Death Magic smelled this bad," she giggled, a bit nervously even. She paused for a few moments and listened, she could've sworn she heard someone chattering besides the people in their group. But just to be sure, she thought she should alert them "There are a few still living... I think."

Orcus heard Crimson's comment and reached for his halberd. He pointed it out in front of him but he couldn't hear or see anybody. "Are you sure Crimson?" Orcus couldn't sense anything. His surrounding were just filled with the sight and smells of death magics. He couldn't tell anything apart because of it all.

"Hang on a sec...." Silas mumbled. He plunged the sword of Der Reisende, the Chimera Blade, into the earth once more. He concentrated, and opened a few channels of mystical energy. He used these to recirculate power, and amplify his own abilities, with the sword a focal point. Visible light ceased to be visible to Silas...and the whole world melted away, leaving only magical energy in his vision. He saw the auras of his companions...each one with its own unique, indescribable color. "No...she's right." A few dozen meters away, amidst the fog of death, Silas saw a new aura. It was fading fast, but the being emitting it was still alive.

"Well that's great!" Orcus said a little angry. "That doesn't really help me capture them, now does it?!" Orcus was a bit annoyed by his new companion. "If you're not going to give me a direction and a distance then you go sick 'em yourself." Orcus sighed heavily. He crossed his arms and sat down after he stuck his Halberd into the ground again. He was actually kind of happy that he had the chance to get a new lap dog to do his work for him but he wouldn't strike as much fear into his enemies now. "To every up there is a down..." He mumbled to himself.
