Lol, well you have a great point there. Logan's almost 4 and man he's constant energy. Though he hasn't taken naps since he was 18 months old, I'm hoping it will be a little more managable with two when he starts preschool.

I came prepared this pregnancy. Bought a rotating tower fan, it's going to be my best friend. Naps > dishes, anyday! xd

Thanks for the welcomes!

Umm.. I think I am excited about twins, but still a little freaked out by the idea. I'm doing this on my own (father is out of the picture, no parents on my side), and I only have two arms. Doesn't leave any arms for doing stuff. Their father's mom has stepped in and offered to help, and I will likely be taking it so I can finish school.

I can't believe I went so long not knowing I was pregnant seeing as I had twins in there! I was almost in my 2nd term before I found out. Almost no morning sickness to speak off. Doc says it's because I have a "stocky frame" as he put it.

We decided to do a Pooh Bear theme; it started out as a "Teddy Bear" Theme, but we couldn't seem to find teddy bear items that were gender neutral so we started seeing Pooh Bear things and eventually started buying those.

gonk I'm spending ALL summer long being pregnant. The low lately has been 85, which is killing me. But I have a rotating fan and lots of ice to chew on. So, its being bearable. Plus the pool just opened so I enjoy the dip.

My little guy has been so active the past few days, jumping and rolling whenever I'm not moving. And not just at night, all the time. You were right Luna, I am startig to regret my statement. But I'm enjoying it too. ^_^

Monkey- I certainly understand the whole "just relax" thing. I think everyone should just record that statement and push play when they;'re around me, it will save them valuable air.

Ah yes, the rotating fans! I have a little table one, but I only tend to use it at night when I have to close all my windows, so that my cats don't claw the screens out and escape! Otherwise, the open windows keep quite a nice breeze circulating through the house.

Luna, it's good to see you have your priorities all straight! Naps totally come before any household chores left in my house as well! I couldn't live without them at 8 months along!

Alex, I couldn't really decide if I was excited or not for the first half of my pregnancy either. It just seemed so surreal, and far off. It wasn't a planned thing, but now that it's so close and I've got all this baby stuff in my house I have bursts of excitement... and nervousness... and am generally freaked out sometimes, but the thought of holding and looking at my own son gets me all giddy and smiley for the most part!

Hikari, Pooh Bear is a never fail theme! I got a couple of really cute outfits from my baby shower with baby pooh and tigger on them. How can you help but love 'em!

LOL, the Pooh Bear stuff was just so cute. When we had to find a substitute for the Teddy Bear theme, it was irresistable.

I'm nervous about my appt. on Monday. I don't do shots well. I avoid them at all costs cuz I blubber like a baby. But then if its the glucose test, I'm nervous about that too. I mean having to drink something all sugary and syrupy, and my stomach doesn't do that very well either. So what if I fail it??

I'm just nervous is all I guess. Two thiongs I don't handle very well, and I have to deal with one of them on Monday and the other in 3 wks.

Of course it could just be nervousness coupled with lots of exhaustion. I don't understand why I'm so tired all the time. I sleep fairly well throughout the night unless I have to wake up to go to the bathroom; and then I end up taking like an hour nap when I get home from school. And with the nap, I fight it so hard. My house is spotless cuz I deep clean it every day just so I don't just sit down and fall asleep. But when I run out of things to clean, I figure its about time to eat something. so I'll eat something but now I've sat down so my body goes gonk and I always end up falling asleep for about an hour. Its flippin' ridiculous. I never feel like I'm actually sleeping at night,a nd then I sleep for a bit during the day. And I'm still so tired all the time. And Idon't know what to do about it.

Ooh! Ooh! I use Aveeno Skin Relief lotion.

http://www.aveeno.com/detailAction.do?id=3684

I love it cuz it gets rid of the itch.

My doctor gave me a big handful of sample hand creams when my hands started to break out in a rash. They're just standard anti-inflammitory creams, but they work really well. You should mention it to your doctor next time you're there.

I think we can all relate to the exaustion! That's just a part of pregnancy, and it's important to listen to those cues your body gives you. It's doing a whole lot more work then normal!

Totally not trying to freak you out here, I just remember this thread from a looooong time ago about itchy pregnant women.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=22032

Hubby used Aveeno when he was in Iraq. Because of the lack of moisture and coming from a humid environment, he got itchy and dry skin BAD, it was the only thing that worked for him, personally.

Oh wow, I've never even heard of that. I haven't dealt with a lot of itching like that thread talks about but enough on my hands and feet that I want to talk to my doctor about this.

Time has gone by so fast! I'm now 30 weeks and the baby's moving around all night every night. Oy, I feel tired all the time too. I HATE stairs more and more every day.

HARLEEN- i hate stairs aswell i dont know whats worse.. trying to haul my giant belly up the stairs or attempting to go down them blindly whilst trying to catch a glance of my feet over the giant belly xd dont get me started on taking the laundry basket up and down the stairs rofl

Boy do I hear that hatred of stairs! Luckily for me, my boyfriend is impatient, so I always go up stairs in front of him and he boosts me up. xd Sometimes I think I'd never get anywhere without him! At 35 weeks, I'm sooo ready not to be pregnant anymore! I've also had to give up having baths when I'm home alone, because it's become nearly impossible to get out of that tub on my own! cry
