He took her hand out from under the water and put the towel over it applying pressure to stop the bleeding. "You sure your alright? Your face doesn't look so good." he said. "Sorry about startling you."

Nanina smiled a bit shakily and just shrugged. DOn't much care to see my blood. She admitted this while watching their hands. The papertowel was starting to turn red around where her finger was. It's okai. Just don't startle me when I'm handling a knife.

"Next time I'll be sure to take the knife from your hands," he said grabbing another papertowel and putting it on the wound.

With the water already dried, the new towel didn't turn red a fast, and nanina took that as a good sign. Great idea. But now, i want a band-aid.

"Alright stay right here and I'll get you one just keep the papertowel over your finger," Chris said looking and finding the band-aids and bringing one to her.

"Well, maybe we can..." Xavier said in a very deep voice, accompanied by an even wider smirk. He realized he was falling for her very quickly, and his mind was whirling. He loved her, he thought. But how to say the mere three words that were so often used in slow songs and poems? How?
"Summer," He started, the color in his face slowly fading. His whole being was trying to find out how to say what was in his mind. "You... " He paused and his mind suddenly drew a complete blank. "Are you having fun?"
Wow, that was lame, Xavier thought. Nice one.
Kahlilia couldn't help but smile faintly. "Well, yeah, I guess you're right," she said quietly. "No, I don't." Her legs felt like Jell-O, it was like they could collapse and wriggle on the ground like dying bugs, leaving her as a helpless being. The fog in her mind was worsening, altering her thoughts and making her helpless.
But there was a moment, a mere split second where the fog completely cleared and it was like the sun coming out.
Kahlilia reached out and hugged Roman unexpectedly as more tears streamed down her face. Yes, it was an impulse. Yes, she was probably going crazy.
But somehow, it felt... Kahlilia drew a blank. The internal fog was snaking back into her body and she felt she couldn't stop it. Was she crazy? Maybe, just maybe.

"I'm having such a blast with you who knew swimming with a guy would be so much fun," she said though she was thinking of how fast she had fallen for him who knows she might even love him but she had to make sure first, "I like you alot." she smiled and brushed her fingers through his hair.

Emily place her arm over her eyes as she dried out. her tanktop was pulled up to her ribs so she could get a sun tan since her skin was too white for her tastes. Her lips were pulled up into a smile as her skin began to warm up.

"I... I feel the same way." Xavier said weakly and kissed her again. "I've really had a ton of fun, just hanging out with you right here, right now. I like you." He smiled and kissed her forehead. 'Like' was close enough to 'love', wasn't it? Well, hopefully at least it was.

"Then let's have some more fun," Summer said smiling up at him. She grabbed his hand and then ran into the water and pushed him under. She dove under when he went down and came up laughing.

Xavier was obviously caught off guard, because he fell right into the water. "Hey!" He said, surfacing, jumping up and splashing her. Then, he pushed her into the water in a way of 'returning the favor'.

Summer came up laughing. She then grabbed X's shoulders brought him close to her then kissed him for a few seconds then she pushed him backwards and swam out of his reach, "So are you having fun?" she called out to him laughing.

Xavier had wrapped his arms around Summer's waist again briefly as he kissed her back passionately. Then, he fell down again all too quickly, came up, and splashed her, sending a tidal-wave of river water her way.
"Of course I'm having fun!" He replied, laughing as he continued to splash her playfully.

Xavier chuckled, turning around and kissing Summer. "Wanna go back now? We're like... completely drenched." He knew their clothes were scattered around the grass surronding the river, and the horses were grazing and possibly napping.
"Maybe we can catch up with Chris and Nanina again, or something, if you want to." He suggested with a light shrug.
