Rei laughed a little. "I didn't see it like that, But there are some exceptions." He said as he moved his arm to hold her, while still letting her hold it to her chest. He kissed the top of her head and then gazed into the fire. "I like to live my life doing what I can for others... but sometimes I can be stubborn about it." He said before pausing to continue. "Plus, there are some people who I'd do anything for... even if it meant getting hurt, or even if they don't want me to... Once my mind is set, I always follow through." He laughed again and sighed. "I see your point."

Holly smiled and yawned. "Yeah, there a some people I'd put my life on the line for too...How about some sleep? All this running around and fighting has gotten me tired." She leaned more into him and curled her feet closer to her.
Little did she know that her Disease ability was bioling on the inside, writhing about inside her like a serpant, ready to strike out any chance it got-- even if it meant by accident.

Rei smiled. "Yeah, Sleep sounds fantastic right about now." He said as he yawned to his own surprise. He hadn't realized how tired he was since holly mentioned sleep. He looked about the cave, and then back to her. He shifted back a few feet, and rested against a wall. It wasn't comfortable, but it was better then nothing he figured. He then motioned to her. "Here, come and rest on me, I'm a lot softer then any of these rocks." He said laughing in his usual nervous manner.

"Oh, no!" Alekssander intervened, if a bit too loudly. "I'll help you, but I just wanted you to know I'm not used to work in this field..." He resigned himself to a corner, a bit shamed, where he fingered the edge of a bloodied axe gingerly. He waited for Cliff's next commands.
Amelia, who had inadvertenly dozed off at the table, perked up at the crack of a thunderbolt. She shook off her sleepiness and ran to the open window, which a strong breeze was blowing through. Her light white hair blew in the wind as she had realized why she had run to the window. "Drake, Holly, Rei, Lili." She looked through the storm, but could see nothing. She started to worry a bit, and brought a hand over her heart. "Come back safe."

Manji jumped down off the rooftops with all the rain there was no traction on the slick tiles. The streets were deserted occasionally a car drove past but there was not a single person around the sewer grates neerby were begining to overflow.
Manji stopped to rest against a shop wall his constant shapeshifting and his escape had physically drained him. The world slowly faded to black as he lost consiousness the rithmic throbbing of his headache was no hinderance whatsoever.

Lili grinned as she looked at the fire. "Y'know, I do have a lighter," she said as she flicked it out. "You might have asked. Oh! I don't smoke, though," she added quickly after seeing the look on Drake's face. "I just think it could come in handy." She got up and started to pace slowly around the room, bored. "So," she started, shrugging at Drake, "what do you want to do?"

Holly did as she was told and curled up against Rei. She yawned again and then was still. Again she fell asleep amazingly fast; something about her new ability let her do so.
Only a few minutes after she had fallen asleep her nightmare began. Remus was holding her wrist tightly and laughing. He was taking her somewhere dark. She wanted to scream, but there was no sound. She saw Drake there, the same glazed over look on his face as before. Holly really wanted to scream now, but couldn't.
Suddenly, with the loud crackle of lightning outside the cave, her dream aquired sound. The lightning should have woke her up, but her Disease was keeping her under. She writhed in her sleep and whimpered.
Remus and Drake tied her down to a table with eerie smiles. She then saw Roman come up with a scary long needle in his hand. Holly screamed and squirmed. When he touched her, which was really Rei touching her to try to wake her, she let her Disease attack him.
((Sorry, is that God modding? Is it bad?))
Cliff nodded in understanding and instead moved to Roman's shirt. He, with some difficulty because of Roman's weight, lifted it over his head. He folded the shirt and put it in a neat pile against the all with the shoes.
"Quite a storm out there...Where is everyone?" Cliff asked as he motioned for Alex to help him with Roman's pants.
"I don't know. I guess we can talk...Or you can show me how your ability works and I show you mine." Drake suggested casually.

((it's okay, it advanced the story, and you did take what Rei would do perfectly, and it saved up space by preventing some smaller posts.))
Rei continued to try and wake Holly from her obvious nightmare. He Hadn't realized yet the disease she had placed on him. He began to feel weak and faint. "Holly... please... Wake up." He said before he kissed her softly once more, and then went limp.
The pain would have been agonizing, if he could feel it. He was still conscious, and his mind raced, thinking of if the disease was weak enough for his body to fight, or if he could possibly die in this dingy cave.

Holly woke with a start; breathing hard. She wiped her hand across her forehead and sighed. She suddenly noticed a slightly foul taste to the air- a mix of fragmented bad emotions and the foul smell she had smelled after she killed Roman. Holly suddenly looked to Rei who was laying on the ground unnaturally.
"Oh God, no." Holly whispered as she went to him. She felt him and could feel his life, but it was fading. That buzz from everyone's emotions, no matter how calm, was growing faint in him. "Rei, wake up, don't go." Holly panicked as she turned him onto his back and tears swarmed her eyes. She put her hands to his chest to brace herself as she put her ear to his heart, but with the touch she felt the disease writhe in him. It had her signature on it.
Her eyes widened and she shook her head, "I did this? But...It was Roman, no, it wasn't meant to be him." Holly shook her head even more as she tried to blink away the tears. She laid her head down on his chest and hugged him, "Rei, I'm sorry, I'll try to take it back, I promise."
Holly shut her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks and onto Rei as she concentrated her heaviest to take the illness from him. She searched in him for every last trace of the disease she had given him.
As the last filament of the nasty sickness she had given him retracted into her, Holly sighed heavily and suddenly felt exhausted. She gave him a kiss then blacked out on him.

Rei's mind fluttered as he felt the sickness leaving him. He awoke long enough to feel Holly's kiss before he passed out again. His body took a serious beating, but he was surviving it.
He awoke several hours later, Holly still unconcious beside him. He reached out a hand to feel her face, and then looked at his hand. It was larger then normal. He stood cautiously and walked to the beach, looking into a small pool of water. He was shocked to see that his reflection was a mix between his normal self, and the were-tiger inside him. He then Realized why. Without him, the tiger would also die... so he too is helping by lending his body.
Rei walked back and took his shirt, and tore a small strip of cloth from it, and walked back to the water, soaking it in the cold, and took it back to holly, placing it on her forehead. He kissed her cheek softly, and sat waiting. He couldn't risk taking her through the water, and he noticed when he was out on the beach, that they were surrounded by large cliffs all around. He would have to wait for her to wake.
He walked back out of the cave, and noticed several small fish caught in a tide pool. He quickly reached in, and grabbed on, then walked to the cave, and began to cook the fish.

"I'm not sure where they went," said Alekssander as he looked away from Roman as he took off his pants, "But I know it's just you, me, Amelia, Ivy and Pat. Maybe they wanted some alone time, if you know what I mean." He snickered as he threw Roman's pants onto a pile with his other clothes on the floor. His smile fading, he thought of Amelia and what she was doing upstairs.

Lili sighed. Drake was sweet, but he was a bit boring. She was disappointed at the fact that he couldn't think of anything else the two of them could do while they were stuck together all night in an abandoned house where no one would find them. But that was that. "Well, I already know your power, unless there's more to it. Is there?" She asked him, intrigued. "Or, do you want to see my power first?"

((Yeah. let's wait til the rest of the gang catches up with the morning, then we can bring Holly and Rei back. For now you can play Pat, Ghoden. He's been kind of neglected. lol.))
"Well, if that's the case then Drake and Lili warmed up to eachother quite quickly." Cliff smiled as he finished the job of undressing the body. "Could you get me my medical bag from on the desk in the next room, Alex, please?"
"Yours first." Drake smiled with excitment. "I'm curious as to what you can do."

Alekssander nodded. "Sure thing." He was back in a few moments, holding the bag. "Here you are." He tried not to look at Roman as a question rose to his lips. "So Cliff, what exactly are you going to do to him?"

Cliff took his bag and set it down on one of the smaller metal tables used for holding the tools. He started to lay out his tools as he spoke, "Well, I'm going to do a normal autopsy just to check out his insides and see where the damage was when Holly killed him, then I'll run some tests fom his blood and other things." Cliff got a sheet and covered up the lower half of Roman.
