Matt walked into his sister's room as she put down the bottle. He saw the familiar blue. "Merlyn Elizabeth," he said in a low whisper, "I thought that those where put down the drain!"

Merlyn sighed. "The pain came back, Mathew, ten fold," she said. "I tried very hard, but it was effecting me in battle."

"That's all this is about then, isn't it, Merlyn?! It's all about your country and honor!!! I'm fed up with it!" Matt said loudly. He slammed his fist on the table. "You don't care about what anyone feels anymore, you don't take their worries seriously! You're all on your own now-"

Merlyn turned and picked up her brother by his shirt. "Don't you dare say that to me again, Brother! You didn't see Father when he got the letter saying you were dead! Do you know what he did, Matthew!! He went strait to the town sallon again! Drank it all away! You didn't have to go home to see him laying passed out in the chair, holding your picture!" she said to him, her own voice rising. She let go of him.

Merlyn and Matt had been yelling at each other when they heard the faint thud against Merlyn's door. They both went over and opened it...To see Mathius slumped over on the floor. "I'd say that we continue this converstation later, Merlyn!" said Matt. Merlyn nodded. They both grabbed one of Mathius' arms and dragged him inside her room. "I didn't know he was so heavy!"

"Niether did I, Brother!" said Melryn. "Okay, on three, we put him on the cot. ONe..two...heave!" she said as she and Matt lifted him up onto her cot. She then checked his eyes. "Great. He drugged himself to sleep." Merlyn put her hands on her hips and turned to her brother. "Matt. I'm sorry for...everything. I'm just caught up in you coming back from being dead...and now my leg is hurting again...I never said thank you, did I?" she said.

Matt solemly shook his head. "The fact that you didn't die from it was thank you enough. But now, sometimes I regret that I said yes," he said, not looking at his sister.

Merlyn put her hand on his shoulder. "Well, now that I'm older, I can't thank you enough."

Merlyn turned around and slapped Mathius across the face. "YOU IDIOTIC IMBICILE!!!"

Matt made sure to take many steps back.

"Dammit Mathius!" said Merlyn, her hand on her forehead. She then pointed at him. "When I said that I was going to drug you, I didn't mean go and do it yourself! Hell, I was kidding around about that, trying to make you at least a little bit chipper!"

Mathius groggily lifted his head..."Well...you know...you know that blue root you take...you take to s-sleep....aparrently...aparently my reds and blues get...get mixed up...I took...took the wrong root..."He dropped his heazd as slowly stepped...

Mathius was in a complete daze..."Color...Colorblind...I cannot see the colors, you silly girl...I iz a colorblinder..."He looked and smiled drunkenly to her..."He says Colorblind...well...well Color...Colorblind is as Colorblind does..."He began to spit up a little blood as he came to..."Damn Merlyn...I cannot control what I am saying, please hurry..."

Mathius began to fit..."I iz no sickly, I iz all betters...yaahhooo, all betters...Matt, is tat joo...I see joo..."He put his fingers on his eyes..."Matt, got any morphine and a bat..."Give me the morphine and hit me as hard as you can..."He had a pleading expression that quickly turned back to a blissful stupid gaze..."Hahahahahaha."
