Pausing in for a moment while waiting for Ryka to catch up to him as he picke dup both Weed and Phoenix who looked completely exuasted. He laughed lightly at his pokemons greatful looks at him. When Ryka reached him he looked over at her and smiled. "So, do you want to challange Brock first tomarrow or would you like me to?" He asked curiosly as they started walking to the pokemon center again for a nights rest.

"Umm," She looked at Eevee, whose eye was barley open "You can go first. I might get some ideas from you."

"Allright then, don't worry about the match though. Even with the type disadvantage your pokemon have against his there is always a way to win every battle you go into." Tony stated sagely as they entered the pokemon center. Tony quickly put Weed and Phoenix into there pokeballs and handed them to Nurse Joy before going and claiming one of the couches as his own for the night by dumping his stuff on it then grabbing some of his things he headed off to the bathroom for a shower. "Goodnight Ryka." He said before he stepped into the bathroom.

"Night-Night." She said as she set out a blanket on an opposing couch. She put Thunder and Eevee in thier Pokeballs and gave them to Nurse Joy too. Then she set down her backpack and pulled out a magazine to read while she waited for Thunder and Eevee.

Misty grinned. "Fighting water with water, eh"
"You bet," Kasiya replied. Ariel dove into the water, ready for action. Misty wasted no time in ordering Goldeen into a Horn Attack. It swam at Ariel and rammed into her with its large horn. Ariel countered with an underwater Tackle attack.
"Good stuff," Misty continued to grin. "Goldeen! Use Peck!" Once more the goldfish hit Ariel with its horn, this attack weaker than the last. Ariel shrugged it off, and countered by slapping Goldeen with her long tail. Goldeen shook it off and tried another Horn Attack, which hit pretty hard. Ariel cried out, but used a Quick Attack to strike back.
"Tackle again!" Kasiya shouted, unsure if Ariel could hear her underwater, but she saw her Vaporeon slam herself into the opponent once more. Misty grit her teeth - she'd underestimated how tough Ariel had been.
"Alright Goldeen! Use Water Pulse!" Misty yelled. Goldeen obeyed, sending a pulsating wave through the water which struck Ariel. She seemed unphased by it, but it seemed she'd been struck with confusion.
"Shake it off!" Kasiya cried, but Ariel couldn't seem to get her bearings. She went into a Quick Attack that grazed Goldeen, but she ended up slamming into the pool wall. She floated to the surface, looking terrible. Kasiya called her back, and held the Pokeball tightly. "Water Pulse..." she mumbled, as she switched her Pokeballs.
"Vaporeon has been defeated. Victory goes to Goldeen!" The referee raised the blue flag.

Nina's jaw fell a little, and then she looked to Sabrina. "'Atrocious attacking abilities?'"
Sabrina looked aside, her cheeks a light tone of red. "It just got lucky. That's all."

"Ryka! You're Pokemon are ready!"
She put down the magazine and went up to the counter to retrieve her Pokemon. She let them out, knowing they were still tired.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy."
She laid them on the blanket and sat next to them. She yawned, and then fell asleep.

After about twenty minutes Tony came back out of the bathroom dressed in a pair of blue pajammas and a towel that was drying his longish red hair. Going over to the counter Nurse Joy was standing behind he got Weed and Phoenix back and went over to his pack and dropped the balls into it before sitting down on the couch with a yawn.

Kasiya shook her head, and held up her next Pokemon. Should have just done this from the get-go, she thought, and tossed out her Pokeball. Shocker appeared on the edge of the platform, looking more eager to battle then she'd ever had.
"Resume!" the ref yelled, and lowered the flags again.
"Shocker, Thundershock," Kasiya said quietly.
Shocker looked down into the water, and sent in a quick jolt. A few seconds later, Goldeen floated to the surface.
"Goldeen has been defeated, victory to Pikachu!" The red flag was raised.
"Okay, so now it gets tough," Misty mumbled, recalling her goldfish. "Misty calls Staryu!" She sent out her second Pokemon, and it jumped into the water, ready for battle.
"Shocker, use Thundershock!" Kasiya said, a little louder this time. Shocker complied, this time, sending a stronger jolt into the water. Staryu writhed, but leapt up out of the water to use a Swift attack. Shocker took the hit, but turned back, still ready for action.

Nina bit her lip. "I'm a little worried," she said to Sabrina, without turning her gaze from the battle. "Pikachus don't have the best defenses in the world... I hope it can last through Misty's attacks."
"So do I," Sabrina replied. Mihoshi trilled a little.

It was early next morning when Tony wokeup. He sat up with a yawn and looked around sleepily before recognizing where he was. Grabbing some clean clothes from his bag he went to the restroom to change and came out a moment latter his pj's under his arms and looking more awake then before. Putting his clothing back and pulling the pokeballs out that contained Weed and Phoenix and attaching them to his belt he packed the rest of his stuff away. That done he grabbed another energy bar two bowls for his pokemon and two bags of Pokemon food for them to eat out of and stepped outside so as not to wake everyone else still sleeping.
Setting the two bowls down and filling them with food he pulled Weed and Phoenix's pokeballs out and let them out. "Good morning you two. Hope you had a good nights rest and are feeling in tiptop shape because were taking on a gym leader today. I know we haven't faced any trainers yet but there are bound to be some in the gym that we will have to face first so that will have to do. Remember what I tought you guys about the whole silent battle right?" They both nodded. "Good! Now eat up!" He showed them both there food and imediatly they both dug in.

While Weed and Phoenix were eatting Tony munched on one of the energy bars that the Pokecenter provided thinking about the upcoming battles and thinking about his battle stratigy. He knew that his new type of silent battling would give him an advantage along with Weed's type advantige in this battle but it would still be a tough battle. Some of Brocks pokemon had been specially breed by his family and if he used any of those ones then the battle would get a lot harder. There was also the fact that Weed didn't know many attacks. He didn't even know any of the special powders that grasskind learned other then Sweet sent. Phoenix wasn't better off either. Fire types were somewhat weak against rock types. Phoenix couldn't afford to get hit.
I will just have to hope that Weed can take down at least one of them and do some damage to the other one before he's taken out He thought to himself. He knew that Weed was a good pokemon but he didn't think that Weed could take out both of Brock's pokemon that he brought into battle. Tony sighed softly and looked at both his pokemon who were looking up at him happily done with there food and ready for the hard day ahead of them.

Mike laughed as he watched the two team Magma grunts run for their lives.
"That's right you morons! Run!" Mike decided to throw in a little pain.
"Team Aqua was better than you!"
The grunts dissapeared over the horizon, screaming and cursing.

Finishing up his breakfast Tony got up and dusting his pants off he smiled down at both of his pokemon reasuringly. "Allright you guys ready to go?"
"Oddish Odd!" Weed cried happily jumping up excidedly into the air.
"Tor Tor!" Torchick peeped smuggly.
Tony just laughed at them and felt a surge of confidence and began to head down to the pokemon gym knowing that he had to clear out some trainers first before he got to challange Brock. Hopefully that would help him feel more confident about the match. He knew that he could win, he knew that he could. It was just that he had never battled a trainer before. Suddenly he was shaken out of his thoughts by a voice calling him. Turning around he spotted Len the boy he had given the Catterpie to. He smiled at him and waved and waited for the boy to catch up to him.
"Good morning Len. Did you get the Catterpie from the Pokemon center?" He asked curiosly.
Len nodded eagerly and showed him the pokeball that Tony had given him. It still had his number scrawled on the top of it. "Yup! I just wanted to say thank you to you in person."

Tony smiled happily at Len. "Your Welcome. So what do you plan to do now?"
Brightening up Len answered happily. "I am going to become a pokemon trainer with the Catterpie you gave me. So that one day I could help kids like me by giving them pokemon so they could start on an adventure like me."
"Well thats good plan. I am sure that it will work out for you. I am going to go challenge Brock right now. Well am going to challange the trainers in the gym first then Brock if I win. You wanna come and watch?" Tony asked curiosly Weed and Phoenix were hopping around excitedly around him anxious about the upcoming battles and wanting to get to them allready.
"Wow! Could I really?"
"Yeah, I was the one who asked you didn't I?" Tony answered a smile on his face before begining to walk to the gym again. "You coming or not?"
"Huh? Oh yeah!" Len followed him to the gym.
