Narcissia tilted her head curiously. "Really? That sounds cool. What brings you to this town?"

As she spoke, Narcissia brushed a strand of golden-brown hair from her cyan eyes. The fighting was starting to make her nervous, and the injured man next to her weighed heavily on her conscious.

Varnis had eyes Aaron suspiciously. "Why would you want to list rocks?" He asked him as he just still looked at him, watching him for any mistakes that he might make. "Oh well, at least we can still continue." He said before standing back up. "Well, we can still search the room for anything that you might find interesting or not, or, we could just continue down this path." He said as he pointed down the path to the left side of the opening. "As that is the only way to go." He added in at the last minute.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the corner of the room, there is a green vial, of bubbling liquid. It has a tube connected to it, that runs from the room, to the path out side the room, and down the cave's path, not ending until the light from the staff is too dark to even see deeper into the cave.
There was also a small locket on the ground that was too hard to even see, no one could notice it. The only thing that could be seen was a dull glint form the chain that was attacked to it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The guards had been fighting the goblins, and where winning. There where gargled screams coming form the goblins as they had died. Where the two where standing, a rat had come out form the bushes, and had attacked the two, first attacking the healer.

Artica gave Aaron a suspicious look before sweeping across the room without comment. Aaron did things that other people just couldn't figure out the motives for. Enough said. As Artica wandered the dank room, she stumbled a little over an object on the ground.

"Ouch!" Artica exclimed from the floor, rubbing her head where she had hit it on the firm earth, and picking up the thing that had caused her to take the fall.

It wasn't a rock, as most would assume at first glance. Rubbing off the dirt on her skirt, the Soceress discoved it was a small locket...

"I'm sure Aaron was joking about the rocks. He probably meant that he wanted to copy down the goblins' war plans just incase the original paper got destroyed. It does look pretty fragil," Mel said, coming to Aaron's rescue, feeling bad for putting him on the ball like that.

She suddenly noticed something. Looking around, she saw a small bubbling liquid in the corner. She walked over to it, her curiousity growing with each step. She bent down to examine it, and was suprised to find a tube that ran from the greenish colored vial deep, deep into the cave.

"Guys, look at this," she said pointing to the tube. "I think we should check this out."

((Uhhh... The vial had no smell, it was sealed shut, and there was no way for the smell to get out... >.<))

As Artica had picked up the locket, and looked at it. It had looked like an ordinary locket. The only thing that looked different was that it had a silver cross on the front of it. In the very middle it had a diamond impeded in the cross. The outline of it was silver, and the rest of it was gold. It was a simple locked, too good for a goblin to even have.

Varnis had seen Artica pick up the locket and walked over to her. "What is that?" He asked her as he looked at the locket. He had ignored Mel, as he wanted to know what Artica had hold of.

Ahren watched them argue from a slight distance, her staff in loosely clenched fingers. Her normally still face wavered, lips curling into something resembling a smile. She fought to keep her expression blank, betraying her amusement with a small smirk.

Artica's exclaimation startled her. Ahren frowned as she examined the object she had tripped over. She spotted something in the sorceress' hand, small and with the faded brilliance of neglected gold. Ahren walked over to Varnis and Artica. "What did you find, Artica?" she asked curiously, her eyes locked on the object.

"A locket," Artica held it up. "I think it might open..." She started prying at the edges.

Mel decided that the strange green vial with the bubbling liquid could wait. Unless it exploded, she thought to herself with an inward laugh.
She walked over to join the croud around Artica. "Would you like any help, Artica? Or do you have it under control?" she asked politely, adding the last bit so as not to seem to make Artica out as weak, as Mel knew very well that Artica was not.

The vial had continued bubbling as Mel had walked up to it, there where some stuff on the out side of it, it was green like the liquid, but it wasn't the liquid, more like blood. As the tube form the vial went up the wall, there was a button on the tube its self, that seemed like something would happen if you where to press it.

The locked had stayed closed shut, as if there was a magical force keeping it closed. No matter how much strength she used, the locked stayed shut. But there was something about it, that just didn't make any sense.

Varnis had watched as she tried to open it. "I don't think that you should try to open it, if could be trapped." He said as he just watched.

((I am trying to Rp, and play castlvania at the same time... Fun fun... >.< Lol))

"Still want to have a go, Mel?" Artica joked, giving up and wondering if it would be considered extreamly foolish to put the locket 'round her neck.

Lexenos walked up to the vial as Mel walked away. He immidiately noticed two things she had not. Some of the green liquid had leaked out of the tube as well as a button on the tube itself.
Lexenos decided to check out the liquid first. When he took a closer look, he discovered that it wasn't actually the liquid, but it was more like blood. "Goblin blood?" he murmured to himself, very quietly and low so that no one else heard. He decided to ignore this for now and shifted his gaze to the button. He suddenly decided that he would equip his new blade, to enable a speedy getaway incase the button was bad. He readied himself to push the button, and he stuck out his left index finger, his left becasue his right hand was on the new sword. He finger got closer, closer, closer to the button, and he pushed it.

"I don't know," she said quietly. "If Varnis thinks it's a trap, then maybe we better leave it be. Does anyone have a pouch we can put it in? I don't think anyone should try to wear it," she said, glancing at Artica, guessing that Artica was thinking about puttitng it on.

The vial had started to bubble faster and fast, as if it was boiling. In the distance there was a electricity noise. The noise had gotten louder as time went on, then it stopped, even the bubbling. The green liquid had started to glow, and eerie green. The cave had turned green, lightning up the rest of the cave of the cave, then faded. After a moment, the light came back, the cave glowed with green making everything in the room, and cave visible.

"If you want to wear it you can, but I don't think it would do anything for you." He said as he looked at the locket more.

((Thanks Mel ^_^))
