Joe was startled when the two appeared, but he did'nt let it show. Instead, he continued juggling the fireballs. However, when each one reached its apex, it would vanish, until Joe was not juggling anything. He looked at the two for a moment.
Then he launched himself at Siber, grinning happily. "I knew you couldn't be dead! Ha! Your demons told us that you could still survive!" He hugged him roughly, then looked at the other man. "Uh. Hi there. You a Warlock Hunter? Cause I can explain the mess...."

Ted turned around. "Yes, I do mind. You know, you annoy the hell out of me. Do what you can, cause I wouldn't be any help to you anyways. I got my own ways of taking care of things."

Paul exited his leap in a graceful roll, coming to a foot and a knee, both of his weapons instantly on Joe. Even as Joe came towards him, he kept the weapons level. "Siber, you know the fellow?" Paul asked, carefully lining up his sights towards them both. The pistol wouldn't be used; the explosion might hit Siber. iPod, though...

Siber fell through, landed with a surprise on his feet, only jarring his legs a little bit as he hit- he had expected a fall of some kind, but it was more of a normal step over a threshold. Seeing Joe and realizing he had been missed, though, was a more pleasant surprise.
After returning the hug (in a manly way, naturally), he took in the scene around him in the blink of an eye. "Yes, I know him; lower your weapons. This is the insurgent. I knew one had to be here. We probably need to go, though- someone will have noticed. Joe, where is Gurul?"
Siber continued to chant under his breath when he finished speaking- he needed whatever summon he got to last for as long as might be needed, and wanted total control in case it got mad at him for not consulting, first. He wished more than once that he hadn't let Pathelios and the others go.

Joe rubbed the back of his head and grinned in embarassment. "See, I thought I had it, but Gurul...got a bit out of control. He's right over there." Joe gestured over his shoulder at the unconcious Sam that lay on the ground. "I knocked him out, but not before I could stop him from causing all this damage." Joe gestured at the buildings around and at the charred bones of the unfortunate student.
Joe turned to look at Siber and grinned again. "Man, I can't tell you how weird it was when you...uhh, died, I suppose. No one else had anything close to a sense of humor. Well, as close as you got, anyways."
He turned to Paul and extended a hand. "So, any chance of us forgetting that we met as enemies? I'm Joe, and I hope to work with you guys from now on." He smiled casually and waited to have his hand shaken.

"Man, I'll bet that did suck- I haven't gotten any good reactions out of this side, either." He grinned back and jerked a thumb over his shoulder. "This guy slapped me, and our revered leader threw me into a wall. Kayla's been far more pacific, and she's fine, in case you were wondering." Siber looked at the indicated body, registering what Joe had said. "Oh. I wondered why he wasn't extra crispy. Paul, did Alan give us a way to get back?"
Keldan was significantly less pissed now that he saw Gurul's host incapacitated.
He guarded his thoughts carefully, keeping them even from Keldan. I'm sure something can be arranged.

Joe shrugged. "Sorry to hear it. Did you learn any new tricks in the time your were away?"
He looked up sharply. "Oh, that reminds me. On your side, is there anyone named...I think it was Arturo. I don't know the host's name, but Arturo is the Warlock. Anyone come to mind?"

Jesse blinked, a bit disoriented from the sudden warp before suddenly finding herself staring up into Legions face. She glanced around at her surrondings, gathering information while Legion barked orders at the other two standing so close, who seemed to pale at her sudden appearance.

She bared her teeth in a smile of greeting, though it likely looked more like a challenge. At Legions words she stepped back out of his path, her boots soundless as she turned to follow him unquestioningly.

Damien said dryly.

Her brows pulled together in a frown as she waited until the other two were out of earshot. The building didn't seem to have too many people inside, they had more than likely all went outside to investigate the big happening at the college. Though she bet there were a few inside still. She lay a palm over the gun on her hip as she followed behind Legion, glancing around often.
"Legion Sir, I believe one of your warlocks were hurt outside. I think another may have been guarding him or... something." Her voice registered suspicion with the last word, as she thought of the quick glance she had thrown thier way outside right before she was warped.

"Yes. We have been betrayed. Another warlock should be sniping them any second. He may have encountered trouble, however," Legion commented with a sigh. He handed her a compass and snapped his finger over it. The needle spun wildly and pointed in a different direction than it had before. "Follow this needle to my operative. Assist him as needed. I was going to brief you but you seem smart enough not to ask stupid questions. Go."

Takeshi finished the last of his sniper rifle's assembly and took aim at Joe... until Josh emerged.

"Sonova..." he muttered. He took a deep breath, steadied himself with his exhalation, and fired. Naturally, Josh's disturbing response time resulted in the bullet stopping in midair, with Josh glaring at him. "SONOVABITCH!" he yelled, diving to the fire escape of a building across from him to his left as the fireball Josh had arced at him landed where he'd been. The fire escape complained loudly, squealing with rust as it lowered. He dropped into the alley and made his way out onto the street.

Joe spun towards the sound when the gun went off. He saw Takeshi jump off the roof and he groaned. "Sorry Takeshi!" Joe called. "It's nothing personal! I just...Legion doesn't offer benefits!"

Paul slowly lowered his weapons, but didn't holster either. "Arturo? If I remember correctly, Linda is the host, but I'm not entirely sure. Siber, I know you haven't been about long, but do you remember at all?" Paul furrowed his eyebrows. Then a gunshot erupted. Paul whipped around, both weapons flying to attention, guided on the man jumping down the fire escape. He could've gotten off a good shot, but he hesitated for a moment, and missed his chance. Cursing loudly, he yelled, "C'mon, no time to waste!" then charged off after him, heading for the street.

"No, Paul, don't make me puppy-guard a body!" There was only one sure action to take. "Call Alan! We need him here; I can't paralyze this guy like he can." If he left Joe alone with Gurul, Gurul might wake up and be able to team up with someone to kill him; anyway, Joe needed to go with Paul so Paul would have backup and the other Hunters wouldn't go after him.
"Joe, give him support. I'll make sure Gurul doesn't wake up and no one gets him back. I mean, if this is some very clever part to get me and/or Paul killed, I'll murder you, but I probably trust you." He flashed a smile. "You understand."
Still grinning, he closed his eyes and sat down on Gurul, extending his third eye out along the waves of light and shadow, feeling for anyone coming in to ambush him. He could feel Paul fading in the distance, Joe in the clearing, and Gurul beneath him with no problem. He opened his eyes to check for longer-range attacks, maintaining the spiritual sight of his Ajna. As long as no one knew a perfect Chameleonic, he'd be fine.
Now that he had charged the dæmon he wanted, he spliced it onto the metal ring around a smoke bomb in his pocket and began readying the shadow-based mind-reading technique he had used in his first encounter with Joe, hoping it hurt more with intent. All the different spells were beginning drain him, but he kept a small cache of energy stored away; just enough to activate them.

Joe nodded and laughed. "Yeah, I understand." He clapped a hand on Siber's shoulder. "And hey, if you guys are trying to kill me, then you can bet that you'll see me again. Angry."
He smiled, then spun on his heel and took off after Paul and Takeshi, easily closing the distance in long strides. He was using the wind between each step he took to carry him forward, increasing the efficency of his step by twofold. He also gathered his energy, guiding it towards his hands, so he could be ready for an attack from any direction.

"I dunno where Alan went, man! The communications systems still have me a little befuddled," Paul responded, stopping his charge for a moment. "I'll send backup as quick as I can, man. Just give me some time!" Rebeginning his charge, he went tearing off through the alley to the street at the other end. For him, it was sheer muscle and endurance that was carrying him through, both of which he had in mildly large amounts.

As he passed through the alley, he shouted, "Josh! Get Alan, Siber needs cover on Gurul!" He then stopped at the very end of the alley, moving just his head around the edge to check on the situation.

Joe skidded to a stop behind Paul, barely breathing hard at all. "Why does he need cover? Siber could easily handle Gurul if he was just waking up." He waited for Paul to say it was clear before he would begin charging again.
