I remember now why I despise Nebraska weather, especially during fall. Bipolar weather and dry air--NOT FUN.

We've got abnormally high temperatures for this time of year. I am really not liking it, because it probably means very dry winter.

I mean, good for you in general obviously, but boo on cold.

As humans, we are masters of making up for the deficiencies of our bodies. Or rather, we are well practiced. 3nodding Hmm... I am sorry the weather has turned unpleasant for you tho.

WTF happened to Bam stokers Dracular? (my favourite book)' stance.

WTF happened to Bam stokers Dracular? (my favourite book)' stance. If I tell someone to read a contemporary YA vampire book, it's going to be Thirsty by MT Anderson. That was hilarious and interesting. The usual parallel for vampires is hidden sexual desires, and this was about a quarter turn from that and framed like a "coming out" story.

I'm going to read Twilight. rofl Should be interesting. XD My opinion was that the books were very readable and had their good points, even though I had a lot of issues with characterization and the portrayal of vampires (SPARKLING??? WTF?!?!). Wasn't fond of the ending of the series.

I've never read Dracula.
Potential spoiler, but I just found this hilarious: When vampires are in the full sunlight, they SPARKLE!!! xD
I just did tarot readings for everyone on my floor. Mostly because everybody keeps asking me to do it everytime someone sees my deck. xP

I wouldn't worry too much; I wound up throwing it across the room in disgust multiple times, finishing it only out of a sense of obligation. It was terrible. I mean, I read some pretty bad stuff as brain candy, but I'm talking, like, worse than Eragon. Only upside was that some of the purple prose was unintentionally funny just 'cause it was ridiculous beyond telling.
