Louie looked into the glass and back up at her. "Thank you." he hesitated, not sure if it would be polite to ask what was in it. He decided not too and took a large gulp of the drink.

KD grinned as Louie took a drink. She poured herself one and chugged it down, giving out a large "AHH" when she was done. "How do you feel?" She asked him.

Louie shrugged, "Nice place. I'll let ya know when I get a better feel for the place." he set the glass down in the sink and winked.

While Waffle decided to head downstairs, Sabe stayed upstairs. He flicked the switch on the portal to shut it down, then laid down on the bed. He reached between the mattress and the nightstand to pull up a hefty book on 'advanced electronics' he had been reading in his spare time. Sabe was only a sixth of the way through it, but given the KGBO's work load it was normal. That didn't even count the numerous things the team got themselves into, which at this point seemed to outweigh actual missions. However useless those things might have been though, it kept his job from getting boring.

"Well if you aren't going to open it." Jade leaned over the couch at reached for the box. Seeing what he was trying to do Pen pushed it slightly out of reach.
"I don't see your name on it." She shook her head at him rather annoyed he tried.
"No, but you so want to open it. I don't know why you are waiting and staring like it would open itself." Jade middle on the head of the couch he balanced with his front half reaching for the package.
"I don't care whats in the box." Pen said with a lax sigh.
"Your not very good at lying, Pen. Trust me."
With that Pen took the box and got off the couch. Crossing half of the lobby she gave him a smirk.
"Now why would I trust you?" Especially after tricking me last night. Speaking with a very smug tone Pen placed the box under her arm.
"I thought you knew it was me. I wasn't in a genius costume or tried to use a fake name. I just asked you to dance. And you did so how is it my fault?" Having plead his case with his middle teetering on the couch, Jade looked up at the proud elf with a clear innocent face.
"You didn't ASKED you gestured. You hid your face under that hat and took off your glasses. Not to mention the last time I saw you that mane of yours was twice as long." Getting more ticked Pen looked back with a very serious glare.
"I was too nervous to talk, I didn't know you couldn't see my face and," Jade now with a silly grin looked away and with half chuckle finished. "Without my glasses, all I could only see, my entire focus was on you."
Pen could feel the rush of blood to her face and looked away irritated.
"Your an idiot and I'm getting this to Bro." Stomping off Pen went up the stairs slowly trying to regain composure.

Jade sat and laughed a bit as Pen stormed off, stopping once she was out of sight. He couldn't get over how cute she was and how easy it was to get her blood rushing. He looked around a bit, since pushing the topic with her was overkill. "Suppose I could get to know people...but..."He plopped on the couch and stretched out. "....this is so comf~y."

Waffle watched as Pen went past her, and was going to say 'good afternoon', but Pen already surpassed her by then. Ooookaay.
She kept going down the stairs and saw some blonde guy on the couch. She never saw him before, and nobody told her about more new people coming in. She got closer to the couch and saw his rounded ears. It didn't even look a little like elven ears.
"Who let you in here?" she questioned. Waffle's voice by itself wasn't something to be too scared of unless someone was scared of her.

Jade opened an eye to look at her, While the other remained closed. "Your boss, Luciano, let me in to follow his example with my own gang back home. It's not like I'm following Pen cuz she stole my heart with a glance." He laughed and his glasses slid a bit off his face. "There is no way that's why I'm here."
(I know, right? xDD I'm such a lazy person >.<;; )

Aly felt terrible. She weakly pushed the door to the basement open, for brief second she glimpsed her hand. Staring at it she took in her the lighten tone of her grey paler. Gah! How could I have not noticed? Gah! How could I have been so stupid, she thought as her shuffling feet carried her down the hall to the lobby.
Her thoughts turned over all the stuff she had done. She reflected back over the long day and the early morning she had had, Perhaps it was the drink...maybe it didn't..No! I remember now. Silly. Foolish me. I forgot to eat and I used magic...No wonder I feel this bad. I haven't used my affinity in awhile and to make it worse I didn't eat anything substantial that entire day. What a foolish thing to do. She continued to berate herself in till she came into the Lobby.
There she noticed Waffle and...I wonder how that is...He isn't an elf clearly. Strange, Kuro must be running out of blind elven followers. I'll have to pass that on to Mother. With those thoughts, she shuffled past and off towards the kitchen.

"Uh-huh. Whatever," Waffle said, "No matter how or why you buttered up Luciano to let you in here, you better prove yourself to be absolutely worth it."
Having got her answer, her next thought was to go find Luciano and demand a few answers out of him. Waffle walked to what she knew as his office and found that nobody was there. Oh, he's off doing something else. Guess I'll just wait around.

Jade sat up and watched Waffle walk away. He laid back down letting out a sigh. "Man these guys really know how to make a guy feel at home..." He laid there for another second before getting off the coach to explore some.
He ended up making his way to the kitchen again to find another in there. "Hey there." He looked to Aly curious as to whether she would give him the cold shoulder or not.

Louie blinked and stared at the man would had just entered the kitchen. Clearly he wasn't an elf and his preasence othered him. A lot. Might have had something to do with the fact that he had looked right through him. Either way, Louie was pissed off at once and made a big show of crossing his arms over his chest and stared.

KD saw the human walk in... smiled and waved, "Jade right?! Morning!" she noticed the tension Louie was giving off, and quieted down... thinking about it for a while it dawned on her that is was a little weird that there was a human here... she shrugged it off and began pouring herself some cereal.
