He tried unsuccessfully to answer Sonia's question honestly. What, after all, could he say? "I'm doing great," he said as he laced one arm around her waist. "At least, now I am."
He looked at her, a soft expression on his face, or so he thought there was. The fact was that he'd never been any good at self control.
However, if his face did anything to reflect his emotions, he should have been glowing... so he thought.

Sonia smiled as he answered, gigging more as he held onto her. She smiled a bit at his look, her own showing a great affection. She smiled even more as she hesitated before leaning forward a little, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. After a moment, she pulled back, looking away as a very dark blush took hold over her cheeks out of mild embaressment, but the relief spread throughout her body as she felt much better about herself.

As he looked at her again, Kris found himself at a loss for words. She was beautiful, kind, everything, but what could he say? Conversation was never his strong suit, and even less of a strong suit for him was his prowess in situations such as this one.
Instead of even attempting to say something intelligent, Kris leaned over to gently peck Sonia on the cheek.

Sonia giggled, rubbing at her cheek as she blushed more. She softly squeezed him, not wanting to let go. He was sweet and gentle, he was completely perfect. She couldn't believe how close she was, that he would just allow her to hold onto him without a struggle. She sighed happily as she leaned up to kiss his cheek.

Kris felt the kiss, and realized that he was trembling. To steady himself, he held her tightly and closed his eyes softly, trying to shut out the world. She was there, and that was all he needed.
Right?
The day stood still as Kris stood there with Sonia in his arms. "Maybe," he whispered, "Maybe she was right."

Sonia blinked as she felt him tremble in her arms, then felt his grasp on her tighten as he tried to calm down. She silently closed her eyes, holding him just as close and tight as he did her. She softly sighed as she heard his words, confusion striking her as she hid it well.

Kris started to walk forward, down one of the paths that criscrossed the Courtyard. The day was starting to grate on his nerves, and his sanity, but Sonia managed to drag him back down each time. "Don't mind me," he whispered to no one in particular. As he walked, he wondered what she was thinking.

Sonia snickered as she kept pulling Kris back everytime he walked. Finally, she just let go, deciding he didn't want to be around anymore. She rubbed the back of her neck confused as she watched him walk ahead of her, staring after him.

He suddenly stopped, then turned around and offered a hand to her. "Where are you going?" He said, cocking his head and trying to smile. He realized that he wasn't acting anything like he should be, but then it was a common problem with him. He was always clumsy like this when it came to talking, always stumbling over himself, always saying something that he thought was honest that turned out to be totally wrong.
"I'm sorry," he said. "Please, come with me. I was going to the woods."

Sonia blinked as he turned around only to hold his hand out. She smiled, taking his hand. She listened to him speak before allowing her fingers to lace with his own. She nodded, walking along his side only to stop for him to lead the way.

zero carefully gets up and dusts himeslf off as he stands up from under the tree. he closes his book with both of his hands and slides it in to his side pocket. he sighs as he looks up in to the night sky. as he does his breath is some-what visible in the night sky. he slowly walks over to he fountian as he streaches and yawns.
"so thats how pratical alchemy for attacks..i only thought i did...simply amazing what you can learn after a night or two oof reading..." he looks down to his bandaged right hand as he raises slightly." and so thats the reason why that rebound happened.."

Zephyr leaned back against the side of the fountain and yawne deeply.
"My how people like to talk to themselves," she thought aloud as she heard the boy on the other side of it, "......Godammat, now I'm doing it!" She clasped her hands over her mouth and made a face of discontent.
Why the hell was she here anyway? Surely she could have been sent to a school closer to her place of business. Not that she would be working while she was here, but-
What the hell was Father thinking? She had half a mind to make like the Predator in those sci-fi movies and turn him inside out. Of course that would be far too tasteless and tactless for her style.

he smirks as he takes a seat on the fountian. as he talks his breath becomes visable " well then...iam not alone here any more, and so that means that im not talking to myself any more." he looks over his shoulder to where he heard the voice. " your new here aren't you" he asks in calm and gentle voice as he smirks some more.

Though she considered everyone to be an enemy, or at least a victem, Zephyr took great pride in making a good first impression. After all, how could you be a suspect when everyone thought the best of you? However, considering the slight sarcasm she was met with, she figured she could overlook any need for manors at least this once.
"What was your first clue, Einstein?" she asked flatly, but with a slight grin of her own.

he gave out alittle laugth. this girl is veryinteresting indeed he thougth as he looked over his shoulder. "well first...." he said calmly" i havent seen you arounf here before.." he smirks alittle more as he sits there." and second; most people who have been here for awhile dont sit on the ground around the fountian but sit on the lip of the pool." he readjust his sitting postion as he talks to her.
