Also, I just remembered. They released the pictures of WW's new costume a while back, and I was horrified (like almost everyone else) Now, they've changed it, and I like it WAY better. Here, judge for yourself with the Before and After:



Crazy thing? Now people are complaining about the NEW costume more, despite it being more true to the character than the first one. I think everyone just wants her in the star-spangled panties, but hell, those things are HARD to work with in action scenes without them riding up. Trust me, I've had acting parts where I've been in just short SHORTS and if you're moving around on stage, you're always at risk of something showing. They'd have to use that glue gymnasts use on their leotards to keep the damn things in place.......

So yeah, I will leave this by saying, as official Wonder Woman of this RP and guild, I hereby APPROVE the new costume for the Wonder Woman TV series!

Funny you mention that Kitanatana! I always though that what those gymnasts used was something special as well and low and behold they use basically what's used to prep wrap football players feet. It's called Tuff-skin or pre-wrap I think and trust me that stuff is CRAZY! It comes on like hair spray and gradually gets ultra mega tacky! I played with some out of curiosity and one of the trainers told me that's how those gymnasts leotards NEVER ride and BOY do I see why now. That stuff is like flexible crazy glue! I'm beginning to think that perhaps this is what the stars use when they're wearing crazy outfits...

As for Wonder Woman, I like the before costume actually. Instead of trying to reshape and reform her, they need to leave history and culture be and just get better writers to think of better plots. Start a new effing universe with her and invest yourselves in it if you have to. Go into a thorough series about what it would be like if she was a villain or something, but for christ's sake leave the history of her alone!

Kids today aren't the comic book types and if they are, they're into manga and not western! FINE! This was going to happen eventually! There are still fans out there like Gerry-bop who buy the products faithfully because it's not about how new the wrapper is it's about the tradition and the history of it all. If they want to throw that down a wild hogs a** just to appease this new generation who seems to be ******** up everything in its path (music and movies) then fine, they can throw away my support and the support of veteran readers AND spenders with it.

Only thing I have a problem with is her top and boots are way too shiny, they're like those cheap costume peices you'd buy from Party City or something.
