As 9's soul was released it was quickly absorbed into his void. He closed the void and moved forward once more. So long as they do not attack me..... Shadow then made a motion and 9 was propelled upward through the ground at a very fast pace. As she was pushed through it some of the dirt and roots were absorbed by her body to replace the blood she had lost. Finally she would emerge slowly in front of a tree in sight of both the dojo and where she had been pulled under.
A final thought reached her before Shadow disappeared That is an advantage of the body you now have. It is you and it is human but it remembers being otherwise so it will be able to heal from the earth. Assuming you can channel some magic into the effort. towards the end the voice grew faint like a person passing out sounds as they loose conciousness.
Shadow floated within the earth. As he shifted 9 he had shifted himself. He now lay in the one place he knew no one and nothing could reach him. Not even Wolf.

9 sat on the ground and placed a hand over her chest.

9 laid down on the ground and closed her eyes

David finally wakes up from passing out and his eyes flutter as he opens them. He looks around, almost unable to move his body as he let go of his sword, and tried to sit up, letting his eyes shift so he can look around to see what happened. He mumbles "Did were get the B******?"

Xol hops down from the roof and leaps a fair distance before landing and leaping high into the air and landing again, this time next to 9. He unsheaths Exodus from his side and jabs it a mere millimeter from Waker's jugular. "Get away from her you souless pawn..." He growled, Exodus's blade slowly pulsing and going abalze with blue flames. The flames lick off the blade dangerously as Xol scowls at the beast in front of him.
