Opening his mouth, Joker snapped it shut and blinked at Kit. "Oh. My fault. I'm sorry about that, sweetheart. I just carried away sometimes." He looked to the side adorably and smiled a bit. "I was talking nonesense really. I don't even know what I was saying." He joked with a laugh.

Monty licked Kalore's lips again to taste the sweetest that was Kalore and the drink he was sipping before. "Then it shouldn't be a problem to go somewhere privately to continue this." Murmured softly with his deep voice and hoped that Eri's excellent elf hearing caught on to his conversation with Kalore. Though a large part of him wanted to take a chance to see where things went with Kalore. If things were meant to be for them.

"Really? I can see why." It was beautiful here and very peaceful. "Have you ever brought Ceila here too? It's a very beautiful place to be with someone else you know?" She said, looking at the water and moving towards it to touch the water a bit.

Gambler cupped her hands and drank a bit of the lake water, enjoying the cool feeling it gave her. Smiling slightly, she looked at him and patted a spot next to her. "Come here." Yeah she mentioned Ceila but it wasn't out of jealous or malice. Acutally, she had sympathy for both because they didn't get to spend time with each other for a the longest of times.

But then if she was alive, Gambler would never had met Rave at all. That thought somehow made her sad at never meeting him. Even if it was for friendship, she really did like Rave and then some. "Would you both swim in here together? This looks like a great spot to do so." She said, genuinely curious about Rave's past and about his relationship with Ceila. It seemed that Rave had a really good relationship with her.

Joker blinked. "Yes but this is actually the second time I called you sweetheart. You don't like that?" He asked and pouted slightly. "It's better than calling you something even more weird." He said, thinking of a bunch of old fashion affectionate names for Kit. Wow, he was actually thinking about calling someone those. Kit must be a special woman.

Monty blinked and raised a brow at Eri. "Dance? Kalore doesn't dance you idiot. Begone, you weren't invited to this get together and if you know what's good for you, elf, I'll burn your damn office full of important documents. I'll make you lose your business and buy you out if need be." He growled at the elf with arrogance.

Nodding, the boss of Area 6 smiled wistfully. "There was only twice that I thought I found love but in the end, things didn't end happily ever after." Yeah but one of them was some of the greatest memories to cherish and kept her hoping for love again. "Yeah only one meant something more than anything." She played with the water a bit.

Joker raised a brow and tilted his head to the side. "What's the matter?" He looked over his shoulder at what she was looking at and blinked. Yet something a chill of forbodding went down his spine. What was Eri thinking about being next to Monty?

Monty narrowed his gaze, looking at Eri with a bit of suspicion. "Shut your mouth, elf. You speak in riddles and it's nonesense. Now leave me be before something really happens." He warned. Oh yeah, the demon's temper was starting to get the better of him. Monty was so close to smashing his head against Eri's to make him bleed.

Stiffening, Monty looked at the dancers and then at Kalore slowly, having a stoic expression. "Is this true Kalore? Are you here for that?" He said, pointing at the dancers. Why would Kalore hide something like that? Again, Monty felt that his trust was betrayed, that Kalore couldn't be honest with him. As if he would somehow do something so horrible to the elf if he told him from the beginning.

Joker frowned, noting the look on Monty's face and tensing. When the demon had that look it only meant one thing. "Here we go again." He muttered with a growl.

Gambler smiled and layed back to look up at the sky. "It was a long time ago but after my fall, I wondered the desolate earth for some time until I came to live in a jungle. It's why I like the rich and thick vegatation and islands that have that." Sighing softly she closed her eyes as recalled her memories.

"There was a chieftan. A leader of jaguar shifters, ironically and well, you can say we fell in love. Oh, it was beautiful what we shared. We hunted together, shared passion, spoke to each other; everything. It was as if he was my better half. We spent the better half of a ten years together yet a few things got in the way." It sort of hurt that those things had to get into the way of something so wonderful.

Narrowing his eyes, the demon tilted his head to the side just a bit. "Then why did you feel it necessary to lie to me about it? It not be honest when I have been nothing but honest with you and trying very hard to trust you, to give you my trust." He said calmly, not growling what so ever. Yet it was very dangerous for him to be that way.

Joker tensed even more. He could see that Monty wasn't growling or snarling. Granted they were in a public place and Monty wouldn't stoop low to embarass Kalore in front of everyone but him being calm didn't bode well.

Gambler looked at the passing clouds sadly. "I couldn't give him what he wanted and what he needed." Yeah it hurt but she realized that with some people certain things were never meant to be. "Since he was a leader of his tribe, he was required to mate and breed an heir to take his place. I could have been his mate but I'm not like him and I couldn't give him an heir. Not during those ten years could I give him one." A pang in her chest happened and sighed softly.

"It hurts you know? Yet I realized I wasn't supposed to be for him after all. So, one day we were at war with another neighboring tribe and I faked my death by jumping off a cliff with the opposing tribes' warrior. The warrior died except for me. After that war, I watched him mourn. I mourned as well but it was for the best. I disguised myself to the opposing tribe and convinced them to marry off his daughter to him." She smiled. "It turned out there were soul mates and well, they formed an alliance." It was sad but she was happy she could do that for him. Even if she left with nothing but memories and a hollow chest.

"Then, I watched over them to see that everything was truely okay. I watched him sire sons and watched them grow. But it had been finally time for me to go. So, I left all that behind and found a ship. It was a ship full of sailors looking for land to conquer. Too bad for them, I conquered their ship and left them there to be eaten by the tribes." It was a perfect ending to her broken heart.

Gambler nuzzled close to Rave and grinned. "They were ugly and smelly. I don't think we would have gotten along." She said and kissed his chin. "Though, I did start learning about other cultures, languages and how to wear clothes when in the jungle, I barely wore anything and it felt...liberating. I did manage to round up a crew and became, believe it or not, a pirate. That was then I met up with Monty and we would always fight." She chuckled remembering how on the open sea they would battle as if that game battle ship.

Turning sharply on his heel, the demon walked towards the stairs and remembered where Kalore's room was. He didn't want to see if the elf would follow or say anything, the demon was exercising calmness and trying not to flip the help out when he's so damned cautious about getting close to people, and this was one of those reasons.

Joker shook his head and watched the stairs. "This is bad business Kit. I don't like the looks of this." He growled and was waiting for the chance to stop the wrong but it was impossible when he didn't know what was going on completely.

Clenching his jaw, the demon looked to the side at the wall. "Why?" He asked, simply wanting an honest answer and hopefully not excuses.

Joker leaned towards Kit. "Which one? Monty or Eri?" He asked wanting to know if he should step in or not. "Either one will be fine but can I watch with some popcorn?" He asked, wanting to see this woman kick some idiot's a**.
