for some odd reason, I feel tempted to put China in a cow suit since it is the year of the cow after all *eyes China evilly*
Of course, thank the lord I don't live in Japan I suppose. On Valentine's day, you HAVE to give chocolate to people you don't even like, which I think is bull really.

That kind of sucks. XD Well, you could give them cheap chocolate and then good quality chocolate to the ones you do like.

You've obviously been reading the wrong information, Celeb.
In Japan, it is custom for women to give chocolate to the men that they like. Hand made chocolate is preferred, but bought is good too. Either way, only women usually give the chocolate. They do have old obligations to give them to male co-workers, but usually only the ones they have regular contact with.
White Day, which is a month later, is when men give presents to the girls they like, in theory, in return for the chocolates.

I also read that women gave chocolate to male co-workers.
Bah, I think I have a fever. I thought I'd be passed out by now but I guess that coffee is keeping me awake for a while. xD
