Caden blinked a little as he looked back and forth between elf and pirate, Hunter was nice enough - as nice as his kind could get - to tell all of them about thier eating habits which was good for him cause he liked a little order in his life. Still right now though the little talk between the two people was a little amusing, something to think over but at least they weren't at each others throats. "I also agree with the elf, best to have those who know how to work the ship do thier thing." Just throwing his own two cents in that’s all. Still he kept quiet and listened until he also realized that it was getting close to bed time. "Yeah it is getting late, might as well get ready to hit the bed." He muttered lightly and gave a light nod to Kronos and the elves. "If I don't see any of you have a goodnight's rest and see you all in the morning." So off he went, heading down to his room, he needed to start getting use to his new bed.

She was skeptical about his concerns? Well, that tended to happen with most people. They were either too careless or he was just too neurotic. No point in finding out which it was though if that was who he was. "Though pirates are known for being painfully protective of their own ships, sometimes if they can't find replacement materials they just have to do without. That could prove dangerous to you." But a quizzical look at her suggestion. "Would you be comfortable sleeping like that? I'll just stay here..." A flit of his wings and he had hoisted himself on the side walls, balanced on the wood and looking out to the setting sun.

Kronos nodded back to Caden, "The same to you, Caden." Kronos said as he looked around the ship, might as well make my way to find somewhere to sleep, he thought to himself, as he began to make his way around the ship. If it were up to him, he would have no problem sleeping on sand, but as ciicumstances would not allow such a luxury, he decided to find a quiet little corner, below decks. Of course it would be great if he could find a room to his own, so he began to wonder and see what he would come around

"This is true." Shrugging lightly but then snuggling herself down some, or seemingly so, splaying her wings some as she leaned back against the mast portion that rose in the crow's nest, giving a yawn. "Kaznec, after you've been kicked out of bed after bed, and have had to make anything suitible a sleeping surface, you pretty much learn to make things comfortable and also to strange sleeping situations. I'm used to this kind of sleeping. Don't worry...but don't you fall off either. You get tired, come plop over by me, okay?"

It did not take Kronos very long to find a place to sleep, he had to admit that he was somewhat lucky to find a room, it was a small room, that smelled strongly of salt water and sand, but Kronos didn't mind. THe aroma was somewhat pleasantly soothing. "Well, let's see how his first night goes." Kronos knew well enough that sleeping on a ship was going to take some getting used to. He settled into his new bed, and settled in for the night

Understanding rose in his eyes but he nodded to her. "Sweet dreams, Jae." He'd seen her sleep before, mostly in silence until some random memory made her giggle or make uncomfortable noises in her sleep. Sitting on the edge, he merely watched her drift off until he slid down himself to rest his back against the sides of the crow's nest. This was the start of a great adventure and he still wasn't quite sure what to make of it.

Shyrae quirked an eyebrow at Hunter and clamly clapped her hands together. "Got all of that from a simple sniff, hmm? Have to say that I am impressed." She liked the bantering and laughing Hunter much better than the condescending one though that personality usually went with the territory. At times Malik could be just as insufferable and come to think of it her father as well. His times were few and far between, however. She glanced at Savvy for a moment and nodded. "Yes, reverie time indeed." Taking the other elf's arm, she saluted the Captain. "Goodnight Captain. And don't worry, I have my own methods of persuasion." Thus heading down below into the space they'd claimed for their own.

Well...they should be making 'port' anytime now, seemed they'd been at the sandseas for a day or so. Jaebelltiah was first up as usual...well, aside from the crew that was on duty for that particular shift. Currently she was perched on the side of the crow's nest, tail wrapped around the mast somewhat to keep some balance and wings flared as well, looking around at things. Sand, sand, and well more sand. Was there anything in this place but sand?
Savryn lay in a hammock, one leg and one arm hanging over the side. Kicking her leg idly in the air, her hand stroked at the bones and half matted fur of a somewhat skeletal wolf that was curled up on the floor beside her. One was also guarding Shyrae as well. Yes, her 'guard puppies' as she called them...and they were wonderful nosey crew deterrent. Chylithair was fluffed up and perched nearby, still asleep.

The smell of something burning woke Kaz up and then he realized that it was all just a figment of his imagination. He had fallen asleep in a sitting position, head in his arms which were propped up on his knees. This was going to take some getting used too for sure. Raising his head though and combing his fingers through his hair for a moment, he looked up at Jae who was already awake. "Enjoying the lack of scenery?" The ships rocking motion told him that they weren't at port yet unfortunately.

Kronos made his way to the top deck, he had slept like a rock, when grew up in a desert, you learned to sleep through just about anything. He looked up and saw that the two dragons were also already awake, Kronos thought he should be polite and say good morning, realizing his board Kronos floated up into the air until he was directly next to Jae. "Morning you two, have a good night's rest I hope?" he smirked, looking around at the endless sea of sand. "Gorgeous isn't she?"

"Well, I did see a few sailed lizards skimming across the sand earlier. Probably decent size to eat too." Dragons eating lizards might seem barbaric and cannabalistic to some, but anyone smart enough knew a dragon never considered itself a lizard. Balancing carefully, at least what was considered careful for her, she turned to Kaz, tilting her head at him. "Sleep okay? I know you're used to your bed everynight."
Though a yelp and a jump, which with her luck made her flail a little in surprise and luckily for her tumble forward into the crows nest and not back to open air, as Kronos popped up. Humans usually didn't fly, that was highly unexpected. Righting herself, scales running the tops of her cheeks flushing pink while her cheeks did so red from embarassment, she righted herself. "Um morning?"Looking around at the sand. "In it's own way...good for sunbathing." Dragon-folk, half cold blooded, that was important.

So by listening to the captain when he had the chance Raynes was able to find out that sometime soon they would be reaching thier first stop on this little journey of sorts, which was good though it wasn't like he wanted to quickly get off the boat sine he was slowly getting use to it, he just wanted to see where they were going to end up and he was getting a bit excited over just what they might find.
Though right now he was traveling the side of the ship, looking out to the endless sands as he walked casually on the deck, his mind thinking of things that were sometimes random and sometimes very deep. Caden liked to let his mind wander since that would allow him to think of many things and maybe even remember stuff that he had done or bring about things he should do, and right now he was thinking bout the orb, wondering if they could find all the pieces fast enough.

Kronos could not help but laugh at her reaction, it wasn't that he was trying to be malicious, not by a long shot, it just wasn't every day that you saw so a powerful a creature blush. "Yes, I suppose that it would be great for that, unfortunately sunbathing for humans isn't beneficial at all, in fact it causes wrinkles, and many other nasty ailments. Living in the desert one quickly learns to respect the power of the sun." he commented still gliding effortlessly on his board, this flying thing was starting to become second nature to him

Standing, he adjusted his clothing and took a drink of water from his bottle before offering it to her as well. "The captain did mention those three meals a day. I wonder if some signal is supposed to be given off for those." Tilting his neck some, side to side. "Yes, it did make my back a little stiff but I'll get used to it. Careful..." The human directed his attention away for a moment, his eyes maneuvering downwards to look at the contraption on his feet. "Morning... Kronos." Yes, took some effort to remember his name.
