And indeed, it didn't seem that Lantis had any problem with carrying the two to the ship. He scooped Felix onto his back with a slight dip, before turning. Vhan began to glow faintly as he was lifted into the air, before the Latios took off, thankfully at a much slower rate than his race through the clouds earlier. Chloe and Lilie followed along behind on foot as the group boarded the ship.
Yoran looked to the group, seeking the confirmation that everyone was on board, which Chloe confirmed with a nod. With that the captain gave the order, as a flurry of movement erupted on deck as the crew hoisted the sails, easing out of the lagoon, and heading back towards town.
Lantis set Vhan down on deck, before doing the same with Felix gently, sensing the boy's discomfort at being at sea. The Latios then took to the skies, trailing along behind the boat at times, although once in a while he'd vanish into the upper levels of the clouds as he caught the thermals that sailed over the ocean waters.
Chloe took up spot next to the railing, holding Lilie as she watched the waves. The Chikorita didn't seem to mind the trip. Quite the contrary, she was enjoying the sunny day as she watched the water happily.

Vhan started as he was lifted off the ground. It was an unusual feeling, moving without doing anything. When the Latios set him on the ship's deck, he fell forward and caught himself on his hands and feet. He looked rather like a full fledged Pokemon like that but he didn't care. He felt more balanced and less likely to slide off the ship and into the ocean like this.
He watched the town come into view, wondering how Felix was holding up.
