You definitely are one when you critique music from your favorite artisit/music group.

You know you're a band geek when you record your band concerts, play it in tiny segments, and take notes on what the band can do to make it better and what they already did well. Then you show it to your band director.

~You have switched instruments so often you have developed multiple personalities. (guilty)
~You talk about the "Band Party" at lunch.
~You adopt someone as your section mascot so your section can rub their stomach before a competition.(For the flute section it's me.... For the oboe section, it's me)
~Piccolos don't hurt your ears no matter how hard they try
~You aren't a drummer but you can play every cadence as if you were one.
~When reciting the alphabet, you go A through G then start back at A again

-You don't need to look at your band director anymore - you know exactly how he's going to cue EVERYTHING.

-You've developed a sixth sense for pinpointing every person who is playing out of tune.

-When you're nervous, you tap your foot. When you play music, you tap your foot. When you're just sitting there...you tap your foot to an unknown beat.

You know you're a band nerd when:

1) You can still play the past few year's marching music from the top of your head.
2) You have dreams involving marching or music that you're playing at the time.
3) You keep the reed you broke at that one competition and wrote "R.I.P" on the back. (true story xD)
4) You talk to your director about music stuff on the bus somewhere.

Uh-oh. That means something for me. xD

-Your music has so many marks that the notes are no longer discernible. But it doesn't matter, because you've memorized the whole thing, anyway.
-Name your instrument and call it by that name. Who needs "my trumpet" when you can call it "Fred"?
-You wear your band uniform to school on a regular basis, concert or not.

that happened to me...and I had to go to summer school and well, i passed all my classes...so that means I can stay in band!!

I know these are already posted...but I just kinda wanna share my experiences XD

~ marching in step EVERYWHERE with your friends
~ marching to the beat of every song you here while walking
~ when you are in a group of bandos and when one starts singing their part to a song everyone else joins in singing their parts and ppl walk by and drop money near us and say "good job" (happened to one of my friends)
~you ask your band director if you can play a differnet instrument for each of the groups ( I'm prolly gonna march tuba, play bass clarinet in concert band, bari sax in jazz band, clarinet in apa [musicals])
