The girl bit down on her lip. She was getting tired, but she wanted to finish this part of the training fast. Unsure of wether she wanted to push herself to try the other leg right away, the girl pressed her hands tighter together. Aya dared to try again...She pushed herself and her chakra harder to mold the last part of the body...

"Momakage! I did it!" the little girl yelled with excitement as she went running over to tell her mother, who was taking care of Myobi. Aya was so excited. She listened to what her mother had for her next. The body of water was formed like her, so now she had to make it look like her. The girl nodded again and again as she understood what the woman was saying to her.

Aya ran back over to where she had been practicing and brought the water back up. "Henge...like henge," the girl said, repeating the words over to herself as she focused on the water. "Henge..." she said one last time before actually trying to get the bunshin to take on her form.

"Ok, Sumire!" she tried another pep talk. "This time for sure!" She closed her eyes and put her hands together. She tried to summon enough chakra to complete the jutsu. It took her a minute, but she finally got it. One more measely clone popped into existance. Sumire dismissed it almost instantly, feeling her strength leave her again. Whoot! She was finally done with her training! She was too tired to do a victory dance. But her smile was very wide.

Feeling extremely proud of herself for hanging in there and finishing her training, Sumire turned to see if Myobi was feeling any better. She was shocked to see that her cousin was no where in sight, and Tenmoki was currently alone. "Oh!" She hurried over to the Kusakage's side. "Sorry, Kusakage-sama! I was training while I waited!" She grinned, waving at Aya who seemed to be busy training as well. "Can I start learning now?" Her eyes sparkled with excitement at the thought.

"So, you want to learn the open palm to, eh?" Momakage said, putting her hands on her hips. "Well, the first part of the training is knowing where the opponent is going to strike and how they'll use their weight to move," she explained as she created a water clone that looked like her son, Kioshi. She was missing her baby boy a lot right now. Sumire wouldn't know who the hell it was, but Tenmoki did. Ten" In order for you get ahold of your opponent's strength you must understand where it is coming from. Examine its movements while dodging them," Momakage instructed her.

[If you do the Dodge that way, then anyone who doesn't have a Dodge Bonus of 10 is going to automatically fail. You could...make us roll a d4 and change the DC to 12? That way it gives you at least a 50/50 chance of success/fail.]

Sumire nodded eagerly. She wondered a bit about the clone, but didn't ask as she normally would. Her nerves were far too wound up to worry about anything but the clone's attack. And she didn't have to wait long. The clone began with a simple attack towards her upper body. Dodging it with relative ease, Sumire kept her eyes focused on the clone. But nothing about the way it moved made any sense to her. She was just as clueless as before.

Still excited about her training, Sumire's focus sharpened. She put all of her mind behind watching the clone as it's punch came. Once again, she dodged it with ease. But this time, her eyes caught a little bit of what Tenmoki was talking about. She let out a startled, "Oh! Now I see!" She grinned happily at Tenmoki. "I see! I really do!" She smiled happily at the clone as well. "I found out your secret! Now I just have to learn to recognize it immediately!" She returned to her defensive stance, ready to begin again.

Sumire's eyes once again tracked the clone as it went into motion. She tried to pay attention to the way he moved. Maybe she would see his blink again. But as hard as she tried, nothing made itself clear to her as the fist came closer and closer to her face. At the last moment, she jerked her head to one side, evading the blow. She was a tiny bit disappointed that she didn't see it again. But Rome wasn't built in a day. And she couldn't expect to get this taijutsu right off the bat.

Aya dropped her arms, the clone and her head as she threw her hands on her knees. She started breathing like she had just ran a marathon. "I need to take a break," the girl said through her breathing. "Momakage, I'm gonna go home for a bit. I'll come back tomorrow and practice," she told her mother bashfully. "I'm not giving up though," the girl said smiling up at her. She wanted to make sure her mother knew that. Aya was just exhausted with the preperations for the genin exams and all that...

Her focus sharpened by her previous failure, Sumire watched the clone closely as it came in for another attack. She was so intent on its movements as she dodged effortlessly again, that she was shocked when she actually spotted something. "Oh!" Her smile widened. She was incredibly pleased with her success. She was getting better! Shifting her weight while she waited for the clone to attack again, she wondered how long it took Myobi to get this right. As much as she loved her cousin, it would be nice to have done something better than her. Just once.

A foot came seemingly from out of nowhere, almost before Sumire was ready. She dodged it, feeling the wind from it's passing upon her face. She flushed, embarrassed that she hadn't been ready in time. "Man..." She eyed the clone suspiciously. It wasn't waiting for her to prepare. But maybe that was for the better. A real opponent would't wait for her to finish tying her shoe before coming for her. Still...with her being unprepared, she hadn't had time to check for the blink. Maybe next time...

"Good job, baby girl," Momakage said as she watched Sumire work harder and harder. It seemed like she was getting it, but she just need a few more tries. As Aya came up to tell her that she was going home, Momakage leaned down to give her daughter a little kiss on the forehead. "Rest up good, honey. You'll get the technique down soon enough," she said with smile. She ruffled up her daughter's hair and then patted her on the back as she left.

The clone, this time, was more sneaky. Almost as if it was trying to trick her. Which -- upon further reflection -- it probably was. "Sneaky, clone!" Sumire scolded it as she dodged another blow. But try as she might, she still couldn't pinpoint the clone's signal for attack. Was it the bunching of the muscles in its leg? Or maybe his mouth tightened just the tiniest bit? Sumire was instinctively sensing his intentions. But she could quite tell how she knew. What a frustrating dilema.

Sumire hummed happily to herself as she waited for the clone to attack again. At long last, she was learning the famous taijutsu of Tenmoki. Her parents had told her about it. Then Myobi had learned it herself. Now it was her turn! The clone moved, and Sumire reigned her thoughts back in as it's fist came towards her midsection. She dodged easily but still couldn't pick up on any one thing the clone was doing.
