Thats why I stick to just the one character. I had a hard enough time coordinateing a fleet of pirates that I'm not looking forward to doing it again for quite a while.
Now...Didnt Archie go to the Imperial Academy? Heh. Maybe Borrill met him there when he was a Guest lecturer.

I have another conclusion about the play, and its players, but it is a lot harsher. so many are more prideful, and don't want to look weak (its not like the bad guys are the only ones capable of getting their bums burned) for some reason.
Its like, the people who don't need to read the academy have, and those that do don't want to. I wrote the guide for a reason. Bad guys get the majority of the wins this round, the gelfers and loyalists get it next round. But noooo...

Yeah... but then they'll complain that I'm dictating to them.
Maybe an idiots guide to formations should be assembled.
1 Cell = 4 Men 1 Squad = 8-10 Men 1 Platoon = 3-5 Squads 1 Company = 3-5 Platoons 1 Regiment = 3-5 Companies 1 Battalion = 2-3 Regiments 1 Brigade = 3-4 Battalions 1 Division = 3-4 Brigades

better to be dictated to than to risk making it no fun for anyone.
Each time we get into a battle, an argument comes up. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the rule to have fun? If you're not having fun doing this, perhaps you should try to work something out so you're not at each others throats?

Cant a cell be bigger than four men? Besides, I thought a four man deployment was called a Fire team.

Numbers can really vary more than displayed.
Fire teams can be as small as 2 people. size is somewhat dependant on skill, at least to me.

There are lots of terms for a four man team... cell, pod, fire team, section... all of them are correct.
EDIT: Yes there are combat teams smaller then 4 men, there are also teams larger then 4 men. I used 4 men cells because thats the basic unit for a Storm Commando team.

Maybe after the battle we should cut down on the Militarization.

Point. But the Gelfers wont be a viable force after the battle. The casualties and the material they lost will cripple them severely. Des, EK, and Paul all want big armies to command. And therein lies a good chunk of our problems. We cut the Militarism aspect, they have nothing to squable and complain about. At least thats my view on the subject.

Ugh... Borill going political. It wouldn't happen, he's a career soldier not a diplomate. I could put him in a semi-retired state. Make him that dark threat that will come in and smack people down if they go and re-militarize the RP.

Go home to the wife, adopt a bunch of fuzzy creatures, and kick back?
Nah. I don't see Borril really living a life without some structure... He'd go mad with boredom.

Model Spaceships!!!
Yeah, retirement is dreadfully boring. Booster couldnt take it. Of course he did a stint in Kessel. But Active service is the only thing that keeps some people going. Cale was a pirate for 60 some years. Never could leave the life.
