Sukutu blinked, trying to get over what had just happened, a smirk lthen aced his features and he jumped up to his feet shakily before starting to bound after her, keeping his violet eye's fixed on her brown figure as he ran after her.
The pain in his paw was there, he just didn't take any notice of it as it seemed just a minor annoyance thanks to Jasiri, as he got closer he smirked more and then pounced on her, pinning her to the ground before he gave a loud roar in triumph.

Haveo stepped lightly, crouching low in the tall grass keeping himself hidden. Though he knew nothing of the Pridelands or the creatures that lived there he knew that somethings were edible. Such as the bird that stood before him pecking at grubs that have surfaced. He moved around as to be down wind of his prey careful not to stir the grass too much. Haveo dug his nails into the ground getting ready to leap it. A moment ticked by before he shot through the grass teeth bared. The bird did its best to escape but a claw had got its wing. Haveo pinned the struggling bird under him, his stomach growling for food. At that point Haveo only had h is survival on his mind as he sunk his canines to the feathered flesh. The bird struggled for only a minute longer before it gave up and lay dead.

((Just letting everyone know: Koho will be absent until my life gets under control again. If she is needed for a plot or something, just drop me a message and I will be happy to stop by for a night or something, but continous rp just doesn't work with my schedule currently.))

Nala rolled over, tucking her headunder her paw with a sigh, the sunlight was starting to get in her eyes and she didnt feel as though it was particularly the right time to get up yet. Thirst twinged at the back of her throat and she reconsidered getting up. Slowly one sleepy green eye peaked out from under the paw, and then the next, blinking away the slumber. Stretching, Nala quietly stood up and made her way out of the den. The sun looked so goregous hanging in pristine morning sky, and the warmth it cast over the rocks was comforting.

Making her way down the rocks, she quickly considered what her mother would have to say about the little venture, she sometimes thought her mothers conviction towards her saftey was more of a safeguard against mischief. Not that Nala would ever get into any trouble. Passing by some of the new visitors she slipped down towards the waterhole. Nala always considered her size beneficial, if she was quiet enough she could slink by unnoticed. She may have gotten herself into trouble occassionally, but hardly ever into real danger. That was Simbas job.

Finally reaching the water hole, she nestled down into the reeds and lapped up some of the cool refreshing water. There were always interesting characters there and it was fun to get a glimpse of the lives of others, even for a brief moment.

[e.e Sorry I disappeared again, I went on a little three day vacation to see a few bands~<3]

Oddly enough, Teule had once again trekked off with Taka, ready to hunt and explore once again. After seeing Jasi with that new lion he wasn't as concerned since she seemed safe enough with him. Woko would probably stay with Mwali since he hadn't woke up quickly enough for him. Taka noticed Teule's focused face and smirked, knowing he was going over where his 'family' was at the moment. He was so protective. He seemed to embody all her young cubs she had once had. Once had. Taka watched her son weakly, sniffing back her watering eyes. Ukengee, Kisa, Ukiwa and Gubari...Her little babies. Coughing and looking away, Taka let a few tears drop, wetting her fur though it went unnoticed on her black fur.

Like her father, she'd teach Teule how to live, teach him everything her father had taught her. Taka emulated her father. Idolized. She had always wondered if he's been one of the sacred cheetah gods', but no. He was too perfect for that either. Hopefully, she could live up to be a role model for Teule and mold him into bright, strong lion.

Teule, after the sudden realization of the lack of true family, had retreated into a his own personal coma. Hunting. On the outside, he had put on a mildy cheeriful mask but on the inside, he was growling and angry, ready to explode. What was so wrong with him that his own mother had disowned him? Letting out an inner growl, Teule's expression hardened for only a second before he caught sight of his mom's turned head.

"Mom? You..okay?"

Mwali pushed himself to a stand and roused himself with a massive shake of his brilliant mane. The sand from the desert had completely left him and his crimson coat shone brighter than ever in the morning sun. He drew in a deep breath, taking in everything- the smell of life and cool as opposed to heat and death. The sky was more blue than he had ever seen in his entire life- clouds drifted lazily accross the horizon and made the entire scen seem almost endless. The grass stretched as far as he could see, dots of life patched here and there. He could only assume that they were animals such as antelope and those massive grey monsters with the odd noses. Singing of birds filled the air, giving an even deeper essence to the whole scene. The sun and sky reflected brilliantly on the rivers and the watering hole itself. A wide grin covered his young face as he took it all in. So much to explore, so much to learn here. A bit of disappointment took hold as he remembered the lioness' promise to him for a hunting lesson. She probibly was attending to cubs or matters within the pride, she didn't seem like one who would break a promise.

He glanced down for any cubs that might still be around him, smiling to them softly and nuzzeling them with the inside of his paw before walking smoothely towards the watering hole. He was thirsty and hungry... he didn't realize how pasty his mouth felt or how horridly dry his throat was either. His stomache was rumbeing. It was obvious he hadn't eaten well in the weeks he had traveled- though he was healthy he had slimmed down quite a bit. Perhaps he'd give hunting a shot by himself. He followed what seemed like a path to the watering hole. Obviously the pride chose this as their spot for social drinking. He could see a few of the lionesses drinking from the waters so he averted his path so he wouldn't be too close to them. He recalled very clearly the reaction to him the day before. It wasn't one he wished to repeat. What had his pride done to deserve such a bitter welcome? He came bearing good news of one of their own and they didn't even thank him for that.

With a sigh and the decision tha the was far enough away from the othershe stooped his massive head to the water and began lapping up the cool water almost so quickly he looked greedy. Not until he felt as if he was about to burst and could hardly stand anouther gulp did he stop and look up from the hole. He could see the young princess cub drinking not too far off from him. She had been afraid of him too... not a word said between them so he decided it was best not to disturb her either.

Turning he noted a small herd of grazing creatures- black and white... they looked odd but obviously he didn't care at that point. Hunting was something he never learned- only saw a bit of from the cheetah. He smirked a bit, lowering himself to the ground just as he had seen the cheetah do and began for the zebra. Of course- not within a few steps the creatures bolted. His crimson coat was too obvious in the grass- aside from the fact that he made too much noise for that to be of any help. He huffed, seating himself he watched them trample off, his stomache pleading for a second try.

Nala stopped drinking for a moment and watched the ripples on the water dissipate and her reflection slowly clear. "I look so much like mama," she mused to herself. It was an obvious resemblance, especially in the eyes. Nala always looked up to her mother and wanted to be like her when she grew up, just like Simba and his father.

Nala noticed a lump of red moving over the horizon and her eyes perked up, although the rest of her body moved closer to the ground. It wasnt that she didnt trust the newcomers, but they hadnt exactly proven themselves trustworthy yet either, although they all did seem nice enough. She watched as the red lion got up from the waterhole and attempted to chase down the zebra, he certainly didnt have the finess that the huntress' didnt. Nala couldnt helpt but giggle a little at his attempt, she wasnt trying to be rude, but it was hard to not find the humor in it.

Jasiri smirked, and rolled over, pinning him. She gave him a little nudge in the chest before running off again. She could see Teule in the distance, and speeded up to him. She wanted to introduce him to her new friend, Sukutu. She wanted Sukutu to meet her "pride". She was rather proud of the little bunch. She was really starting to think of herself as "princess" it made her feel more important. As she got closer, she stopped and paused. She could tell something was slighty wrong with Taka. She looked so sad. She approuched slowly. "Hello guys, this is Sukutu, hes a member of the Pridelands, he lives here with his sister." She spoke softly, a small smile on her face. She tried to lighted the mood a little, seeing that they were kinda tense. Sukutu was still a little far off. She hoped this wasnt a bad moment...

When Koho didn't answer, Sarabi sighed. They needed to hunt today, but where were the other lionesses? She couldn't feed the pride by herself. Then a thought came to her. That red lion from yesterday, Mwali, he had said he wanted to learn to hunt didn't he? His help would be better than no help at all. The red-eyed lioness turned and made her way down Priderock. His sleeping place was empty, but tracks lead away from it. He obviously didn't know much about tracking or hunting. An expirenced lion wouldn't have left such obvious signs of his presence. Sarabi followed the trail to the water hole and paused for a drink before she continued on.

Mwali tried not to take the young princess's laughter to heart but he did feel terribly pathetic. He had gone on to try his luck with a heard of antelope, a small hare, even some birds but he wasn't having luck at all. He was loud when he crept, he was clumsy when he lurked, and the most obvious of all- he was a bright crimson red against golden grass. Even if he was a master hunter odds were that he couldn't hunt out here anyway. His hunting attempts had brought him to a small hill that overlooked the water hole. His back was turned from that and he faced out further along the savanah. His ears laid flat against his mane and his great head was lowered in embarassment. Of all things- he thought he might be useful as a hunter and maybe feed himself for once. Most luck he'd had even in the desert was a small beetle with a missing wing.

Taka ignored Teule's monotnous question and gave him and the approaching to juves' a smooth smirk. Teule clawed the ground impatiently but grinned when he saw Jasi, a light hearted smile which grew more weighty as the other cub came into view. Taka looked the new boy over carefully before her feline eyes' caught sight of the ruddy coat of Mwali by the watering hole. She bit her lip as the zebra quickly darted away from the offending red lump, Teule also noting it and storing it in his head to tease Mwali about later on. Snickering, Taka sighed and waited for Jasi to introduce the little boy to her. Sukutu, hm? Taka smirked and dropped down slightly, a sly smirk on her face. A rough little boy was what Teule needed, Woko and him didn't get into too many fights so her white cub was lacking in fighting skills.

"Good to meet you, boy."

Teule snorted, eyes going half-lidded and attempting to 'out-suave' the new cub as Teule would put it. Teule relaxed his grin and gave Sukutu and brief nod of acceptance, trying to put the boy in his place. 'This is my family and outsiders' will stay outsiders'.' Teule obviously had the feeling that if he let, in anyway, his family grow distant form each other, they would leave each other behind. That wasn't going to happen as long as he was around.

Sarabi stepped from the tall grass and stopped a couple of paces from the male. "Mwali, was it? I think you were interested in learning to hunt, yes? Well, as it seems that all my lionesses have disappeared, I need a partner to help me. Would you be interested?" She sat back on her haunches and watched him closely for his reactions.

Mwali jumped slightly. He hadn't heard the lioness coming- mainly because he hadn't been listening for anyone. He turned slowly, trying to shrink down even lower. He really didn't care to get a reaction simular to the day before from the golden queen. "Yes... uh.. your highness I would like to learn how to hunt, but I don't think I'd do you any good.... I'm too red." He tried to make his tone softer, more quiet but it came out afraid and nearly cowardly.

Sukutu smirked slightly before his smirk slowly disapeared at the sight of the cheetah and the cub, he cleared his throat before his run slowed down to a trot as he approached them.
He then stood next to Jasiri, a smile forming on his maw at the word 'friend' she had just now called him, he had never really had a true friend, his pale violet eye's then fixed to the cheetah and he nodded his head politely, it was not a good idea to mess with outsider's...especialy ones he didn't trust.
"It's good to meet you also madam..." He spoke like a true gentleman, one, because he didn't want to get into a fight so early in the morning, and two, he didn't really want to upset his new friend.
His ears then swivveled towards the small white cub, his eye's widening at the small felines dazzling coat, he'd never seen anyone like him before.
He then shook his head, snapping him back into reality before he gave a small nod back and a playful wink to the cub, having another male to mess around with could be fun...whil it lasted at least.

One of Taka's eyes squinted before she let out a yawn, a mouthful of ferocious teeth glinting in the sun. Licking her maw, she looked over the new lion cub towards where Mwali was. Ah, the new lioness was there. Smirking, the cheetah couldn't help but go interupt. Rising up off her haunches, Taka to few steps away, leaving the cubs to their play.

"I'll be going now kids'. Pleasure' to meet ya, Sukutu."

Taka was somewhat giddy in meeting the lioness and causing a little trouble. It was what she did best, anyway. Trying to look innocent, Taka stopped a bit away from Mwali, eyeing the moving herd of zebra. Avoidig looking at them directly, Taka pranced forward, keeing her gaze on the zebra before she was only a few feet away from them both. Putting on a startled expression, she spoke in a slightly high pitched voice, an overly inncocent smile on her face.

"Oh! Mwali, I was wondering you went...oh my, I'm not interupting anything am I? My eye just caught sight of some zebra is all."

Teule rose when his mom did, but stood his ground, only following her with his eyes as she walked off. Giving himself a good shake, he took in the cub's height which probably went unnoticed since one couldn't even see his eyes. Taka had sad before that his lack of visible eyes was something he could take advantage of if he ever got in a fight. You could read anything by looking into someone's eyes.

Sukutu's wink triggered a blank expression from Teule before he let a smirk cross his face again. He'd be fun to hang out with. Wokovu would probably like him to.

"Hey Jasi, how's about we take Sukutu to meet Woko, eh?"
