There was a small charred spot on the floor in the Master Bedroom surrounded by ashes and pieces of cloth, Torment had burned away all his clothing. He had burned away everything. He currently lay on the bed, his two wings reignited and stretching out from his shoulders, or so it seemed, like a second pair of arms. His normal limbs were brought up behind his head as a makeshift pillow, even though there were some scattered about. His hair had dark streaks through it where wisps of flame had burnt even his own firey locks. His wings seemed a dark shade of blue, sometimes passing into black and dark green, but only for a few moments. His eyes were closed, almost strained to keep them so, but he was deep in thought. He was beating himself up about something, debating whether or not to reveal it. While he was thinking, he may not have been sitting or standing up, but he was at full attention.
He let out a sigh as he sat up, thinking out loud to himself, "If I don't tell her...I'm keeping secrets. If I do..." He let out an exasperated sigh and fell back on the bed once more eyes half opened, brilliant flames rising from them each time he blinked.

From across the room, Kalie was admiring herself in a full length mirror. Her chin resting on her shoulder as she peered back at the glassy reflection. Her defined eyes traveling over the curves barely visible under the straight leg cut of Vince's jeans. It was better than nothing, but the none the less she couldn't decide if they fit her right. There was still a persistent nagging feeling in the back of Kalie's mind.. that the pants had seemed to swallow her a** whole, or current lack there of. Hey, she was having a girlie moment.
Spinning once more, she paused now facing front. Her hands gathering up the midnight locks as if to pull them away from her eyes into a pony tail. A style that didn't last to much longer than the pouty come hither face she was making in the mirror.

After a while he slowly sat up again, glancing to the long barren plate with a brief smile. He didn't need to tell her. It was almost as if it never actually happened, so it matters little. It was forgotten...it hadn't even been his own fault to begin with. He wasn't himself at the time. But then again...if he wasn't himself at the time, why should he hide it? He let out a sigh, "I hate this..."
He took ahold of one of the plates and tossed it slightly in his hand, no higher than a couple inches, feeling the weight. He glanced to the wall and concentrated as he threw the plate at the wall with all the force he could muster. There was a slight plopping sound as the wall absorbed the plate and began carrying it through the walls to the kitchen, a bulge tracking its progress.
While the plate was in travel other assorted kitchenware plopped in behind it in hot pursuit. Torment was back to his old self again. Doing stupid stuff while naked, nothing more Torment than that.

Where the walls became flush with the floor, and rooms took shape from within the boundaries of the walls. Paths were cut throughout the house, an interweaving pattern of long halls and their adjoining secrets. A maze Kalie had fallen into after stepping outside the borrowed guest room.
Taking no particular direction, she fell into herself easily enough. The thoughts within her head leaving her to turn this way and that rather abruptly till the winding path opened and merged into something else entirely. With a troubled sigh, Kalie dropped into the soft surrounding of a nearby couch.
The temporary high granted from Torment awakening had outlived its already short life span with his desire to be left alone. Even the petite wings that typically remained pleasantly deep within hibernation had become bothered by Kalie's discontentment. Her temporal agitation causing them to ball up and twitch from under an tangle of dark tresses.

With no more kitchenware to throw at the wall Torment trecked off towards the bathroom. He hadn't had a decent shower in quite some time. Seeing as all his clothes had previously been burned away, he snapped his fingers, the showerhead coming to life as a rush of water came forth. He stopped at the edge of the shower and closed his eyes with a slight smile, remembering the last time he had been in it, real or not. As he slipped inside the warmth of the shower, even turned all the way up, felt cold on his skin. His hair fell around his face as water cascaded down his body, taking a stain of deep crimson with it, mixing with a fine layer of ash that was left behind as he burned everything from his body. He made no attempt to move the hair from his eyes as he looked up into the strwam of water, eyes closing as he shivered slightly.

Stretching out on the love seat, Kalie tucked her arms behind her head as a make shift pillow and hooked her legs over the arm rest. One boot becoming more aloft than the other as she crossed her legs. Settled in for the long run, her lashes batted sleepily. Though the position was comfortable, the downside was her narrow field of vision. She hadn't propped herself up high enough to really see past her knees or the arm rest for that matter.
Instead of thinking about the situation at hand, and possibly overreacting about nothing. Kalie chose instead to take a nap. She'd rather condole her lover on what was truly bothering him over something concocted by her head.

As he stepped from the shower the water ceased on its own, flames growing around the mage to dry his body. A slight steam began to rise off of him as he paused in front of the mirror, not affected at all by the sight of his hair. It had changed, no longer sticking out at all angles, and no longer akin to flame. His hair was an ashen grey and hung around his face and in front of one of his eyes like a wilted plant nearing death. He inspected it slightly, brushing it out of the way of his eye when he felt something stirring within him. He ignored it as he turned back to the master bedroom, passing through the door into the dimly lit room. He a snap of his fingers the room began to brighten to normal levels and his closet sprang open, his favored attire leaping forth. He stepped from the master bedroom, clothes following behind him, one at a time flowing around his body, stretching beyond their limits in order to dress him as he walked.

As Kalie slipped into dreamland, she rolled onto her side. The hand bearing her wedding band falling to the edge of a cushion while the other remained snugly tucked behind her head.

Torment stopped in the hall, leaning against the wall as a wave of nausea ran over him, but quickly faded. He took a moment to regain his composure, but as soon as he started to walk again the same urge ran through him and he started to stumble forward and into the guest bathroom. It wasn't the fact that he was ill, nay, something linked to him was getting the living ******** beat out of it. He stood hunched over the toilet, slowly looking up as a hand darted out to grasp the sink to support him.
He was breathing rather heavily and his eyes were bloodshot, "Turey... Izmir. A name...I haven't heard in nearly a year. Maybe more. Regret the shameless Pain that was dealt, Redemption will be found in the Throes of death. Death has come to all but Two of the Brothers, Walkers of the Apocalypse."
He stumbled back from the toilet and leaned against the wall, "Inferi Vulgus...Regret...Turey Izmir. He needs my help...the b*****d lives. Damn b*****d needs to learn to stop interupting s**t."
He made his way down to the living room to take a look at Kalie before he had to leave. He literally couldn't sit around knowing IV was in trouble, especially with who was on the other end of it. He was out the front door and in the skies in no time at all, a small envelope left slipped ever so slightly into her pants, just enough to keep it there. The sound of a portal quietly closing was all that remained of him in the skies.

By the time Kalie would wake, the letter previously tucked under her jeans would be unknowingly discarded on the floor, a short distance away. While sleeping she had had a fit from the constant prodding of a petite little corner, the ending result involving the little note being harshly ripped from it's hiding place before tossed aside.
Now fully awake, she laid sprawled across the couch. One arm neatly tucked under her chin while her other hand hesitantly poked at the envelope. Kalie's eyes carefully following the weightless parcel as it drifted back to the floor. Only to be further harassed by a nimble set of digits.
"Hummm..."
((mm.. electrical storm plus cable.. I'm not going to 'around' this weekend.))

Flipping onto her back, Kalie plucked the note out of the air before it could fall back to earth a third or fourth time. A short sigh escaping, as it turned about in her hands. When she couldn't find anything of interest on the outside, she maneuvered a little hole in the seal and then plowed through the rest in one quick rip. The contents spilling out as soon as she could get her hand inside.

Inside was a letter and what seemed to be a small translucent business card made of magical force. The business card was slightly warm to the touch, and on one side had a scrolling message telling Kalie he loved her, and he was sorry he left without word. Upon the back was an illusion of an azure phoenix in flight, simply looking upon it and holding the card gave her the impression she could use it to contact him. The Letter Kalie hun, I can't express how much it hurts to leave you behind again, with much the same circumstances, but this time I have to end it. I assure you, I'm fine, but knowing he still exists will never let me rest. The pains I had might have been caused by IV. Mindblaze flattened him, literally. The deed was so vile and so powerful even a creation such as IV is in jeopardy. I must go to him, rescue him, and annihilate Mindblaze. The first moment I can I'll contact you, but I must ask, even though you won't listen, which may or may not be a bad thing, for you to stay home. I'd prefer it if you didn't, but I wouldn't be angry if you tried to find me, quite the opposite really. If you come to find me before I can find a lab to repair IV, I can only ask you be prepared for what you might see. Kalie, I can't promise I won't get hurt. I can only promise a safe future. On an unrelated note, I think I'm going through a sexual withdrawl, if you do come find me, perhaps we can fix that. I think it will take some extensive work, but if we keep pounding at the problem, eventually we'll come to a solution. Loving you, always. Torment

As Kalie studied the message, her face reflected the words in tone and feeling. The slight frown and furrow of brows, that began the letter, becoming more of a smile as the words trailed on. By the time she was done, the smile would break into a soft laugh.
Twirling the card about between her fore and middle finger, the inscribed phoenix came alive in Kalie's eyes. A brilliant wave of blue engulfing the living legend ..and so much more. With a hint of a smirk in her eyes, she was off the couch and on her way down the hall. The card now firmly meshed into her palm, creating enough room for the chain being drawn from around her midriff. As the chain ended, Kalie curled her fist around the 'key' given to her so long ago, a hint of sarcasm coming into play as she spoke.
"I wonder if this counts as cheating.."

As if knowing her intentions, a wave of increased warmth washed over the small card as the side with the phoenix began to shift, displaying what looked to be an operating room. As she looked on it would slowly zoom out past a woman in black with a cat tail, passing through a wall where someone seemed to be screaming in insanity, and then to the outside, displaying a hospital with a sign that read, PatchWork Hospital. The image would fade as lettering was burned into the card by an ember trailing across the card like one writing with a pen of flame. It was Torment's handwriting. Quote: Wait for me here. Ask for Patch and to go to my Lab.
