Sighing he made the rat hand seal and said the genjutsu name out loud. "Narakumi no jutsu!" he said as he watched the cat play with the same fish who wasn't growing.

The fish got bigger as the illusion worked, it was as big as a baracuda and it was trying to run away from the cat so it would never be caught. Making the rat hand seal once again he would hope to have another succeceful try. "Narakumi no jutsu."

He could tell how the jutsu didn't or did work by the way the cat looked at the fish when it grew or stayed at the same size. It's face would be filled with awe and hunger as it grew but it would be determained when it stood at the same size. Making the rat hand seal he would try the jutsu again. "Narakumi no jutsu."

He heard his stomach growl loudly, he skipped breakfast this morning and dinner yesterday when he found himself passed out from the training. "So hungry....thinking of fish is only making it worse..." He said to himself as he made the rat hand seal. "Narakumi no jutsu."

He decided to rest to regain some chakra, there was still a long ways to go before he finished learning this jutsu. "But i have to keep on focusing that i want to do this jutsu..."

(i didn't know chakra recoverery = 1 cp + chakra mod...so i would be recoverying 7 chakra per rest. I just found that out when they were talking about it in the academy.)

"The new academy children...I have a feeling they would surpass us all...my dad always said that the later generation always surpassed the previous..." The proof was with Katagi out of the three children, he felt like he had more of a reason to be a shinobi then the other two. He felt weird talking to a cat.
