been alone all day and the kids just came in .. they will have left over pizza from mother's day smile
tabby will not stay long she has some studying to do for a test ... and she is taking him home because she is taking him to a Dr appt tomorrow
I have been looking at apts online for hours .. i did call one that my mom use to live in years ago.. they do take sec 8 and i do not have to have 3x the rent ( wtffff) right .. there are some apts that tell me we have to so they really do not want to rent to people like me ... well i like the area were this one is ..a lot of places i can walk to there without even getting a bus ..and there are 2 buses taht go by there .. there is a hospital , a library , a lab i use is right across the
street .. some fast food places and a mall.. a thrift store i can walk to .. two big blocks and there is a used book store and my eye Dr office and tabby likes it because its closer to were she is working
so i am finding places to talk to in the beginning for the year

It sounds like you had a relaxing Mother's Day. You still had to cook for yourself today? I hope you find the perfect place and it doesn't require triple rent. You should report any that do that take sec 8 to the sec 8 people who know anyone who can pay that does not qualify for sec 8 in the first place; it's a scam to get tax breaks. I have my fingers crossed you have fantastic luck and timing. I had an odd experience. For a few days I had the feeling the cottage cheese I'd gotten a couple of weeks ago was going to have a problem. I'd gotten it for a hot day and my husband had a late appt today so I planned to have it tonight with loads of fresh fruit and some hearty bread. But the feeling got stronger. So this morning I checked the expiration date (which was fine) and had in the back of my mind an alternative. Well, sure enough, I cut up the fruit, heated the bread and opened the cottage cheese container. It was completely sealed and when I removed the seal, there was a red liquid contaminating it! I am returning it first chance I get and they will report it; it's from Trader Joes. But how could I have known? It wasn't a premonition. Just very strange but useful. Busy all week except for one day--and not going nature walking then as it will be the hottest day of the week. We have to get everything ready for the windows people the next day so will be inside, moving furniture away from the windows, making tags as to which curtains go in which windows to put them back, etc. Windows get installed on Friday so I'll be lucky to get on the computer at all that day. My computer room is one of the rooms getting a new window. When we finally do get a chance to go walking, it'll have been over 2 weeks from the last time but the hot streak will have ended so there is that. We'd hoped to go this morning between appts but I forgot about a followup one for me. Oh well. The biggest thing to happen all week I missed, the aurora on Friday. The news said it wouldn't come this far south, and it not only did, it went all the way into Mexico! So we had no idea we could see it and didn't check. Of course we did for the next two storm waves, but those didn't come this way. It's really rare it does, maybe a few times a century. Did you see it where you are?
