ChaosKnights Zero the Crimson It's pretty simplistic, but there is a story. Basically you're a new hunter who came to this island village to help them and at first you're just doing your job, then you run into a massive monster, the lagiacrus, (which you are in no way able to take on yet) when you return to the village there's an earthquake and the chief suspects it's the Lagiacrus' doing and you're off to hunt larger monsters in order to prepare for it. And I won't go any farther than that because it would be classified as major spoilers. Aside from hunting you can gather materials, fish, and catch bugs which you can use to upgrade your equipment and such. And if you want you can even take the game online and hunt with up to 3 other players (on WiiU) Lol, some new guys just can't catch a break lol. Oh yeah. It starts out small and relatively simple then escalates into a giant mess of monsters galore. And then if you play online and reach G rank, you get to feel completely powerless as your armor that you worked so hard to create seems to be made of paper to the G rank monsters and to make matters worse they even get new move sets.

ChaosKnights puppylove713 That is totally true... But don't go being stupid and quitting your job unless you have something else to go to. Many people make that mistake... That's the beauty of part-time jobs. More free time in exchange for less work hours though less pay obviously.

Ouch, that's got to hurt. At one moment you think you're the king of the mountain only to realize you've only managed to scale a small hill.

ChaosKnights puppylove713 Have you made any progress with any stories you may be trying to write? Sort of I suppose. I have 3 stories I'm planning. But can't get to them due to my short time period. Yeah, I think I will write more on mine now. I am kind of in the mood for it... I have to be in the mood to write or else it turns out really bad...

Add that with having the rotten luck of always running into more than one monster on a hunt and I feel as though I went from first place straight into last, having been lapped a dozen times.
