This should be the last tree. Jab looked up. There was a smiling set of teeth...this didn't seem right. It started talking. Did this tree not talk be itself? Or was it just unique like the striped one? At this point, Jab just decided to give up on thinking and do whatever.
"Hi Teeth, how you doing?" And they finished. Shy, I guess?
Whatever, the quest was done. There was a beep, Jab grinned. Level 2.

Tree 2/5 00zingTea grined back at the bodyless grin that sat atop the tree. She had just totally found something! She frowned though as it starting spewing things about being lost. She wasn't lost! The hatter was about to say so but the grin was gone. Just a boring old tree left. She shrugged and skipped to find another tree. "Oh dear." He said with a small frown. No wonder the first tree had been so upset, Someone was going around and cutting down talking trees. That seemed rather like trying to stuff a wood-nymph in your wood stove.
He shuddered and moved on.

She had touched down, with a minor foggy feeling of apprehension. She had been rather awake, she recalled, before the overwhelming feel of dreaming came over her. She could not complain though - the woods she came up to where . . . beautiful, and both serene and peculiar at the same time. Not liken to her Insanity at all.
Taking on the statements that the AI was giving her, she nodded with every statement, fully unaware that it was more of a one sided conversation, mismatched eyes blinking lightly when the Alice AI paused, asking her of her alias. Lifen was a little stumped - was she supposed to pick a name, unlike to hers? It didn't seem wise to just go along with her own name, everyone seemed to have picked up an alias of a sort, including fitting clothes for some form of ranking. After a thought, she emitted her name.
"Golden."
It was a fitting name, one that would follow her to the ends of the earth.
. . .
Again.
Feeling complete and content with her decision, she decided to continue forward, wandering in to the forest further. It was the only logical way.

(5/5) ((Fragments: 1)) As she continued to wander around meeting the trees so she could finish this quest she ended up at another tree that had what looked like the same set of grinning teeth as the first one she had met. Which spoke the exact same words it had the last time. Rhythm hoped that the dream was not starting to repeat itself. She'd rather not be stuck in an endless loop of checking trees. --- Luckily it seemed that was the end of the quest and Rhythm headed back to the sign, which took a while since she hadn't really been paying attention to which way she had been heading. A quick chat latter and she manged to successfully complete the quest. The girl shrugged, "where did you last have them?......Wait, you can't move, so they should be around here then....."She'd take a look around for it. If you cater to it then it tells you "I'm hiding something in my mouth!" It sticks out its mouth and lo and behind it is a fragment! +1 Fragment.
If you don't guess the tree looks disappointed. "Oh, okay..." It does not give you a fragment.
"Guess what I'm hiding!"
It made her jump back a bit, but after she caught her breath once again, she looked down at it once more, it's teeth glittering in the limited light that broke through the forest. But, the tree was really cute, when she looked at it, and lightly leaning down, she crouched in front of it, eyebrows raising a little.
"You have something? It is special?" She asked him, in a rather mothering tone as her head tilted just a little out of honest curiosity. At first she didn't think it would answer her, in a moment of Insanity, but it perked up (in a way that a tree could . . .) and opened it's mouth again.
"I'm hiding something in my mouth!" it chirped up, before opening it's mouth and presenting her with a little red fragment. After a hesitant moment, she went to pick it up, before giving the tree a smile.
"Thank you, I will cherish it." She stated quietly to the tree, before pocketing the fragment, giving the tree a little . . tree pat, before going to traverse further.

Byakko walked along the path until he came across a sign. The main quest mark over it made him raise an eyebrow and walk over. He wasn't surprised when it started to talk to him and told him to go search five trees in exploration. He just shrugged and went over to a nearby tree to search it. He didn't find a fragment but he did find amusement thanks to the talking tree. Ok this was a change from the striped tree to see one so long that bends down to look at HotRocks with its sleepy eyes as it reaches over her, to which she stares right back at the best she can to see what it was going to do. "Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you? That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean." Scrunching up her face in disgust at the tree as that was really just so very gross. "Ok," she growled at the tree and walked off. Coming back a little while to find that the tree was gone. "Stupid tree," she growled walking off to find other trees with her tail lashing hard behind her angrily. 4: You reach a broken tree and it is sobbing. "I'm so very sad", says the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?"
If you don't help it out it gives you nothing and continues to sob.
If you help it out, search around the tree for glasses! Roll 1d4. If you roll a 4 you succeed in finding its glasses. It is super excited as you hand it back. "Thank you, oh my goodness, thank you indeed. Here, have this." It gives you a fragment and insists on giving you a hug, but the hug is very prickly and not very nice at all. +1 Fragment.

He thought at first the poor tree was sobbing because someone in the area had been carrying an Axe… that kind of would have suited the 'trend' so far, but no… apparently trees could be nearsighted. He wasn't sure what exactly trees looked at but… it seemed rather a bad thing not to be able to see. Like maybe when you were molding and your eyes got all hazy and everything itched. Yes…that would be awful.
"Let me help!" He offered, and started very carefully searching for glasses. After all… he was bipedal right now and that was so much more clumsy than being a snake. You could do awful things like… step on a trees glasses if you weren't very careful.

Vaith loved games. Hell, they had probably been in too many illusion experiences to count and this was just one more of them. But falling down the rabbit hole and drinking the drink has been quite nice~ Everything in this world felt silly and Vaith felt silly and it just felt awesome.
So when he came across the forest, he didn't hesitate. That's where he wanted to go! Strolling and adjusting his very fine hat, he pulled his coat closer together to head forward.

She quickly gave it a raised eyebrow and stated that it had said two friends but actually listed three and that the riddle was not valid. The next tree Byakko tries to search seemed on the grumpy side. Even with the warning it gave him he couldn't resist moving closer just to see how it would react. Vaith was really really confused when the tree talked. He took a few steps back, his expression was a little horrified. Was he putting his hand in the tree's nose?
"Aw jack, that's disgusting. How does one clean out their noise anyways?!" He shook his hands and tried to get rid of any "tree-snot," before returning back.
Oh.. the tree wasn't there. Well Vaith wouldnt have waited either.
