There was something soothing about this place, and something that made him a little sad. The twisted, jagged ground, the soothing pulses of red that flittered here and there... Agar only stared for a long moment, seeking to make sense of it all. Such clarity never came.
He shrank back into himself for now, watching the fragments... The Goddesses wanted these, didn't they? But he felt too tired to move.

The Spire evoked memories of a dream within a dream, something he had seen before, but not quite him? It didn't really make any sense, and he wasn't sure what this feeling was, but...
It brought a sense of unease, seeing the tall towers, uneven grounds. Such an overly happy shadow came from such a place? With a sigh, he decided it would be best to try and familiarize himself with this place.

So this had been a place of failure, before. He'd come here aimless and found himself in a crumpled, defeated heap before he'd really had time to register where he was.
But things were... different now. It wasn't so much that he moved with more confidence as that he moved with more purpose.
He stood among the towering stones and the drifting islands, among the fog, and he paused every few steps to stoop and run his fingers over the earth or to gaze upwards with knife-sharp focus.
Time to go try this again. With purpose, this time.

Something about this place had a haunting familiarity. Distant, so deep but there. Palem looked around at the ruins of the towers and the pulsing red that seemed to be in every world she approached.

Still, he wanted to check if there's at least someone in the area that he knew, so he loitered about the main square.
