 Kenji Umi - Breeder - 16 - "Trainer,maybe. Breeder,yes." Inventory - Pokeball x6 When the Pokeball released the Growlithe kenji stomped. "Oshawatt use tackle!" Oshawatt ran towards the Growlith. The Growlithe ran towards Oshawatt and bite it. Osawatt jumped back and yelled. "Oshawatt pull through use water gun!" direct hit "Again!" The growlithe was badly hurt."again Oshawatt keep going!" After about three more water guns the growlith was beyond weak. Kenji threw another Pokeball.  Lv - 5 Moves - Tackle,water gun

Madison had ran at a steady jog alongside her Houndour as she went down the path towards the city. After having to force herself to take it easy for a day or two following the refuge, both were bursting with energy. They two already seemed to be getting along well given their stubborn natures. She did allow herself to stop though, when she noticed a bird picking at the ground in their path.
As their jog came to a halt, the dog was quick to leap in front of its trainer in a battle-ready position, barking to get the bird's attention. As it looked up it saw the trainer and dog. She was holding up some sort of device and reading it closely...
"A Pidgey... Alright Houndour. Lesson one, don't dive i- HOUNDOUR!" The trainer had barely started to explain the benefits of taking a moment to size up the situation before leaping in, but her Houndour was already launching itself forward and throwing blazes of fiery embers at the bird. Angrily it took flight,
"PIDGEEEEEY!" it cursed out at the dog, flapping its wings wide open. The size of the feathers caught Madison's attention more quickly than her partner...
They're long... it's almost mature enough to evolve... "Houndour no! You can't just blindly attack anything in sight! You'll just get-" Suddenly, the winds picked up around them as two large gusts formed under the flap of the bird's wings. Small little tornadoes collided to form one big whirlwind at the dog. Houndour attempted to brace through it, but found itself quickly lifted off its feet and hurled at its trainer. Only somewhat expecting something like this to happen, Madison lept up and opened her arms ready to collide with her Pokemon. It hit the trainer dead center, and both fell back on the path. Luckily, the slightly prepared trainer broke its fall. As she looked up over her somewhat shocked pup though, there was no sign left of the Pidgey. It was gone.
"-blown away..." she sighed, continuing her earlier thought.
"Well now.... see what happens when you dive in head first...? You should try to know what you're going up against. This will help take away any advantages from surprise that your opponent may have had, and helps protect you and possibly even your pack from unnecessary injury..." She trailed off as her Pokemon seemed to have an unimpressed look on its face, grunting a bit at its trainer's advice after being outdone by a bird...
Odd... where had Siegfried been during all this? Had he kept up with her? Or maybe he fell just a little behind... They still had to get to the city... and laying here on the path certainly wasn't going to help them any.(( For people waiting for a post from Keeta, I'll have her wake up tomorrow. It's already... holy crap 11pm here. I got home from work 90 minutes ago and didn't sleep well last night. Tomorrow (Friday) is my day off, perfect for getting my characters all set up for the weekend smile goodnight all)) ♂ lv.6

Though he had been following her he chose to stick to the sidelines and get a view of her skills. " You've got a good eye, noticing that pidgey was close to evolving. And you my small friend should take what Madison says to heart." he said approaching them. Siegfried's Aron walked behind him taken out in case things got bad. It stuck to Siegfried and was wary of Houndour, since it was a fire pokemon. As the group walked towards the city, water from the massive fountain with the Latios/Latias statues could be seen. As they walked Siegfried adressed Madison again " Mammut Lake is on the to Paysage Town, where the first gym is, you should consider getting a second pokemon there. Not only would it even your chances against the gym leader but it will help your Houndour, pokemon tend to learn faster when they have someone to experience the lessons with." he said reading from his electronic notepad. The Houndour scowled being continuously reminded that it just lost to a Pidgey. It could have handled it itself... that bird was just a Pidgeotto in disguise... Madison on the other hand felt no true loss as some sort of lesson was likely learned there, and she began to push her Pokemon off her. Houndour seemed to snap out of its brooding at this and stood back up to step beside the trainer and let her get up.
"Paysage? Isn't that the forested area?" She inquired, trying to think of what she may want to capture there... As she got back up on her feet she brushed herself just a bit to make sure her clothes weren't too dirty and took a look over her bandages as she lifted up her sleeves. She continued,
"Well... Houndour will definitely have a teammate before then. I don't plan to tank through the Pokemon League with a single Pokemon... no offense Houndour," the trainer stopped for a moment noticing a look on its face. It clearly thought it could handle things on its own, and certainly didn't wish to share its training time with anyone else holding it back.
"I assure you Houndour, it's only for the best. It will be important for you to learn how to work as a team when you go to lead your pack. The experience would be irreplaceable".
The Pokemon continued to scoff at its trainer, not in any sort of agreement about this. She merely shrugged, insisting it could suit itself. Perhaps it wasn't a lesson it would learn to take advantage of today... and with her shrug she called the Pokemon back to its ball for now.
"Rest up. It's only gonna get harder down the road." She then turned her attention back to Siegfried, seeming to not mind at all that she had gotten side tracked. She put her sleeves back down over her bandages as she spoke,
"I understand your intent with the advice, however, I likely will add another member to the team before we even reach there. I intend to have a whole pack for Houndour to learn to work with. I'm focusing though on something very specific this time around. Houndour will only learn how to lead a pack if I give it a pack to lead. You'll notice soon enough that only some strong dog-types will capture my attention on this journey." Her matter of fact tone was back as she finished, turning back in the direction of Vormund starting to appear in the distance. Walking forward now with her Pokeball put away, she thought about what she may find to benefit her team in the future... Perhaps a Meowth? She had already liked working with Persians, and having one anti-dog type in the team would allow Houndour to work with Pokemon of all sorts eventually...
I would hope to find a Meowth in a city like this... they love shiny things people drop and roaming through the streets. Something is telling me though it might not be that easy... Her thoughts continued in her mind, mulling them around quietly as the city got closer.♂ lv.6

Sleeping what appeared to be peacefully, the girl had sweet dreams of running around with the Pokemon her Daddy was raising and working with back home! She loved whenever he had the Pokemon around for his research or just breeding purposes... they were so fun to play with...
"huh?" and suddenly, finally, the little girl stirred. She started to wake up from her dream, sitting up and rubbing at her eyes sleepily. Her blanket was still wrapped around her. She hadn't moved all that much being tucked in so comfy, but on realizing this she only knew one person who could tuck her in so snug. She put her hands down and looked up and about the room....
"DADDY!!" little Keeta exclaimed as her eyes found what they were looking for. He was here! Quickly she pounced out of bed... and somewhat missed her mark. She fell on the floor in a big heap with her blankets. Maybe the full effects of the Paralysis hadn't entirely worn off her body yet. Still, she looked up with a smile, as if a little unseen tail was wagging in delight at seeing him there... whatever he may have been doing at that time. She girl had been out for quite a while...♂ lv.7 ♀ lv.6

Brach had rested shortly after asking a few questions and getting more than what he needed from the conversation. The best part of waking up was coffee in a cup though, so it should come as no surprise that upon hearing his daughter just go floof on the floor with all those blankets that he'd turn and try to keep the coffee from spilling. "Ah Keeta! You're awake. You look well rested."
One thing he looked like he was brooding over was a pokeball. His early decision to grab a psychic type wasn't going too well... it still seemed scared of him. And who wouldn't, honestly? He was hoping for more respect... well, offering more care and protection for the pokemon would likely help. Until he had the resources to be healing them himself, a trip to the pokecenter would be the only way to do that...
"Hey, wanna see my pokemon?" he asked his daughter. His won Ralts was like her Ralts, but male... maybe now that they weren't fighting they'd get along better. Which also reminded him he was carrying another pokemon he wanted her to have..

The little girl rather clumsily got to her feet and trailed her blanket all the way over to her Daddy before the smile disappeared from her face. She looked curiously at the balls in her father's hands and tilted her head a bit.
Daddy got new Pokemon? ... I love when Daddy gets new Pokemon! The child thought to herself and started nodding her head lots at his question, clearly interested in meeting what was inside. She suddenly stopped though, and looked around the room frantically after checking her shoulders and her sides, and looking back at the bed and around the room. Where was her team?!
In her frantic panic of looking about she somewhat didn't hear Sol's plea to get going, nor realized how long she had been out...♂ lv.7 ♀ lv.6
