(Posting because Kato was with Avery @@ @ Floor) "...Avery there floor is...Warm?" Sort of hot to the touch, actually. it was SLIGHTLY unnerving... Though.. before he could explore any further, he heard something coming. Moving towards him... fast. Kato knew that voice. ******** as Dis had expected, Kato turned towards the other boil, looking up at him... look of hostility already on his face. "Go jump off a bridge, Dis!" Clearly not the best threat in the world, but then again... Kato was not good at this 'bully' thing.

When the petals only faded into water in her mouth, Melusine was highly put off and instantly began to spit them out. Yuck! Water? Not at all tasty like blood. Yuck, yuck, yuck! Her eyebrows puckered and she stuck out her to tongue in attempt to wipe the remaining drops off with her nails. It took her a few moments, but finally she succeeded in her attempt. After such a failure in her investigation, Melusine frowned for a moment before she returned her face to its normal, placid stance. A strange buzzing in her pocket distracted her and she pulled out her phone to read the message. Blood.Even if the text had said 'red', it really meant blood. And that was the only word she needed. Quick on her feet, Melusine stood and tottered over to the edge of the water and waved a long hand at Acher. "I'm heading over to um... There." She said with a point toward a small group gathering by the pool. "Meet me when you're ready." It was said nonchalantly, in a way that conveyed it was alright for him to take his time. She wasn't in any hurry. So with a last, quick smile she turned and headed over to the group. She used her phone as an introduction as she waved it to Vanth and Selene, two faces she knew but wasn't sure exactly what their names were. "I got your DETH text." She said with a slow blink. "I'm Melusine." Another blink. "I'd like to help." All said in a colorless voice, as though she weren't entirely sure what was going on.

Surprisingly, it was the odd echo of a ... strange growl which drew Cain's attention away from the markings on the wall. Furrowing his eyebrows even further in bewilderment, the demon tilted his head slowly to glance of his shoulder, confusion turning to curiosity as he searched idly for the source of the sound. His eyes finally settled on the were-penguin perched on what looked to be a fairly substantial little pile of treasure, looking like his feathers were a little ruffled by something from the looks of it. This in itself only drew a more confused look from the baphomet, finally coaxing the demon to turn his body completely around to face him, head cocking slightly to one side out of sheer bafflement.
"Rowly?"
The name rolling off his tongue in itself sounded kind of like a question. Still, Cain took a few casual steps towards the monster, as if to further accentuate the question in his tone. Of course, a great deal of this was because he was exceptionally curious as to why he was sitting atop this pile of treasure, but hey. There was nothing particularly wrong with that, was there?
"What, dare I ask, are you doing?"

The etchings were completely illegible to Argyle as well, but that smudge of blood spoke a pretty universal language. He froze as he and Vanth came to a similar realization all at once, swallowing hard as he turned to look at her.
"But...uh. Where is--"
He paused, squinting at the gruesome. The red splattered everywhere and a cloak over something that seemed a bit small to be a human. A poor human scareling? Was it moving? He didn't think it was moving.
Completely ignoring the meet-and-greet in favor of leaving that one to Vanth, he kneeled down to cast a bit more light onto the cloaked...thing, holding his breath.

As the voice began to reach its peak, Radoch threw himself out of the water. Danger...there was danger in the water. He threw himself out, and picked up the sword he'd left laying by Manny. It felt good in his hand...very good. He wanted to use it, to make it his. What would he name it? Kingslayer? No, too cliche. Cleaver? That was an axe's name...
Hmmm.
Nope, nothing. Oh, right, back to dealing with water. "Guys, I think we should stay out of the water..." He called out to anyone listening, before brandishing his new found sword at the chalice. "That thing ain't right, man."
And what did Radoch do to things that weren't right? He hit them. He hit the chalice with his sword.

Cains questioning tone coupled with hearing his own name had Rowlys head turning so fast he almost gave him self whip lash. His eyes settled on the demon figure before him. Subconciously the were penguin had lowered him self slightly, just a little closer to the treasure then he was before. Rowly had no idea what he was doing was anything out of the ordinary. "I could put my father out of business with this," He mused to the demon. A sly smile unfolded on his lips, "You could run the town with this much treasure. Just imagine how many clubs I could open up. It would be unreal. Think of the power.... The power..." The were penguins tone trailed off little by little. He clutched his fingers tightly around some of the treasure then lifted his palm to watch it happily jingle to Rowlys own eye level. Yup the were penguin was losing his mind to greed just about. If he kept it up maybe the advice greed demons would make him an honorarily greed demon.

"I do. You know me, information like this can't be passed up. Besides, we can ask somebody in Amityville if they recognize and identify it. It's not like I'm keeping it because that would be stealing." There was a unsubtle emphasis on that word, although knowing Zeke.. "I'm borrowing it."
Zeke didn't have any intention of keeping it after all. But thanks to Skylar's scowl, he dropped the treasure, almost tempted to turn back for it. but something took precedence.
"Oh c'mon, Skylar, you gotta get the slime off. You can't walk around, smelling like snails."
Feeling that he had sufficiently copied enough symbols into his book, Zeke was about to battle Skylar.
An all out death match for the necessary sake of hygiene. Zeke was determined to win.

Ashly continued to watch the others, head propped up on her knee's, body wracked with the occasional cough as she sat on the edge of the pool, feet barely dipped into the water. Try as she might, however, she just couldn't get that odd sound that she had heard in the water out of her head. Had it been her imagination, or had it gotten louder the longer she had stayed under there? And to start with, it had had an eerie yet almost beautiful quality to it, though before she had pulled herself from the water it had become something different, like there was something dangerous.
She heard somebody calling out, saying that they thought they should all stay out of the water, and while Ashly agreed...at the same time she just felt some odd compulsion telling her to get back in and try to find the source of the sound.
And so, even though it was against her better judgment, she ignored the person who was calling out and scooted back in under the water, submerging herself completely once more. Ashly, being undead, found that she really had no trouble staying below the surface, and she began to crawl along the bottom of the lake, searching for whatever was making the sound. It seemed shriller now, and almost made her ears ache with it's intensity, but she was focused on it now, almost obsessed with figuring out what it might be.

Warm air was beginning to fill the tunnel. Agh. This was not a good day to be made of paper. Callie could hear the soft lapping of water and seemed to shrink a bit, keeping somewhat close to Dabir as they made their way through; in actuality it was just the golem condensing her body to make as little skin available to the damp atmosphere as possible. She clutched at her dress strap to make sure it stayed up, though when they at last entered the cavern she almost let go in awe.
The water she could do without. But the treasure. The gleam and glitter of rewards, the sensation that they really were on a quest, that they were meant to be here - it shattered any doubts Callie had about ignoring the restricted area warning. Sure, she wasn't one to loot, but clearly these things were meant for them, right?
Still, she was slow to move, and most of the students passed her by before she could manage several steps in, eyes wide to try and take in everything at once. By the time she had full functionality, Dabir had returned with quite a catch. She blinked and managed to catch the rings he tossed with trembling fingers, holding them up to her face with reverence as they gleamed under the soft blue light. "Thanks. This is . . . amazing." The normally loud ghoul had been shocked into a much softer tone, as if for once she perceived how yelling could disrupt the majesty of this treasure room.
Callie slid two rings onto one hand, admiring how they looked against her pale skin. She needed something more than jewelry, though, and thus she also grabbed the nearest weapon (a gold-trimmed longsword) and tested it out with her other hand with a few experimental swings. "Ahh, yes! Now the adventure can begin~" she said with glee, turning to the monster with a little flourish and bow. "Will the newly crowned king accompany me?"Syusaki idk if you've posted already but HERE WE GO 8D

Slowly, but surely, May had come out of her panic attack and was down to slow breathing. May looked objectively out into the crowd where some people were taking money, others playing with it. Something just didn't feel good about this situation. She'd seen the halloween equivalent of Goonies plenty of times. It just didn't end up well.
"No ... I don't think it'd be right Tex. It's not ours. It's gotta be buried away in this cave for some reason, y'know?" she said. "Gotta leave Mother Halloween alone 'n all."
She smiled, a tad weakly, but smiling nonetheless. No, nothing about them being deep down in a cave in Amity felt right. She'd admit to a little excitement and adventure, but it was also a bit ... dangerous. She liked watching action movies, not being in them.
Her phone buzzed lightly in her pocket and she jumped a little. She'd almost forgotten about it entirely! Something about finding Argyle ... saving a human. "What d'you think?" she said, showing him the phone, "Should we go? I'm kind of worried ... What if those tentacles come back or something?"

Vanth put down the box of bind-aids. "Of course!" Vanth greeted Selene and Melusine with a nervous half-smile, taking their hands and bringing them closer to their investigation. The grim reaper dropped her voice so as not to have their findings echoing around the cavern. Not everyone understood the gravity of the situation, judging by the whooping and splashing coming from the pool of water. "Come this way, quietly. I think we found a-" Behind them, a voice. Rengath."Argyle can show you..." Vanth explained, and sighed more than a little dramatically. Argyle did seem to be taking care of the exploration, so she left the girls there to help. Returning to regular indoor voice level so as to deliberately include Rengath, she continued, "I need to take care of this." Vanth turned around after a few seconds, took a few steps until she was staring right up at Rengath's smug face. She wasn't very tall, or strong, or even armed. And she was shaking a little, whether with anger or fear, at Rengath's bullying, her expression stoic. She made a sudden movement - And wrapped her arms around him in a gentle hug. "I'm trying to help."

He stared at the water with a frown, only noticing that his phone was buzzing when she mentioned it. He tugged it out of his pocket and read the note silently. "Yeah," he said with a sigh. "Let's go see if we can find what made that red stuff."
He had wanted to see if there was a ring in the water she would like... but that was moving too quickly and the cowboil knew it. This was for the best, he thought as he headed for the trail of red paint and Vanth and Argyle.

May walked slowly, letting go of Tex's hand for a moment as the path got narrower and she had to detach if they were going to move anywhere. As soon as the path widened again, she went right back to it.
Soon she saw the little group standing around a coat of black and red.
"LITTER!!!!!!!!"
Her instincts kicked in, and she was darting for the coat. Once she got to it, May picked up the coat, only realizing it had the strange red coloring on it, and dropping it again before anything underneath it could be revealed.
"Oh ewwwwwwww," she squealed, "It's got that ... that stuff on it!" Luckily she hadn't touched any, but it was still gross nonetheless.
