Elly hated fetting attention suddenly and from people she hardly even talked to before. It was fine if they told her they were glad she was safe, but no, they always talked to her like they knew her and quite frankly she didn't like that much. She sighed and shook her head to get the thoughts out of her head so she could have a fun time with her Tristan.

When he told her she looked adorable in her ear, she blushed and tilted her head in the direction of him telling her, his breath on her ear tickling it and making her jump since it was a surprising gesture. She thanked him with one of her smiles and put her things down on a poolside chair. She pulled her hair back into a long ponytail for once and fixed her suit before walking into the the pool. The water was a bit cool, though not unbarable, as she slowly emerged herself in. She dunked her head down and swam in the shallow water a bit before coming up and opening her arms for Tristan to come down too.
"Come to me, your angel of music!" she told him, in a fake deep voice, quoting Phantom of the Opera while chucling.

User ImageEvery time the topic of crowds came up, her smile seemed to waver. Was she that nervous or afraid of people? He'd have to try harder to leave that topic alone. If it was okay when they were spaced out, then the beach on a week day would definitely have to be the plan. Wouldn't be as crowded. Most people at the beach minded their own business anyway. He'd forget that topic for now. They have enough to chat about at the moment. Other topics had yet to come up, there was always something to talk about.

Not being able to trust yourself. Hyunn had never felt that way before, he knew the issues of trust though. After having met the succubbus he hadn't trusted anyone at all for a while. He couldn't fight off his urges though, eventually he'd gone back to his usual flirting. Like he always did. Only these days he was more cautious with who her flirted with. Though now being at the academy he doubted he'd ever run into another demon. Or at least he hoped now. He let the past slip from his thoughts as Vira agreed. Great, now he had a new friend to flirt with, someone to spend time with during his early mornings. "Good, maybe we'll both have something to do now on the bright, early days." Days off were always rather slow, especially if he woke up early. He'd just have to find Vira and pass the time with her. At the mention of food, his mind went back to the cafeteria, reluctant to go. He couldn't deny that he was hungry though. He shook his hiead slowly. "Not yet. No plans at all really. I was expecting classes, but since we have the day off I'm free."

User ImageSeiji exhaled slowly as the pace of the match was brought back down. He was glad for this. While he'd been thinking and acting quickly, too fast and he might have done something regrettable. Push a little too far, almost cut her or actually make contact with force. Sparring match or not, he didn't want to hurt Ranka. At her signal, Seiji nodded in response, changing stance slightly. Before it'd been a basic bushido stance when he had the chance to actually make one. Now, he let one hand slide from the katana, only one gripping the Dite. He'd get less power out of it this way, but he wasn't focused on power. Ranka was fast, and Seiji wouldn't really have a use for power in a sparring match. Speed would be his asset here. Knees bent as he lowered himself a little, arm turning as he slowly brought the katana to a horizontal position. She was giving him a chance to attack now, so he'd better at least make a decent move. He knew what she was capable of now.

The Psyharden started forward, a simple stride as he closed the gap between them. As he came closer, Seiji suddenly dropped almost as if he was diving forward, his katana still level with the ground. Pushing from the ground with his free hand, he stretched one leg forward rasing his blade in an upward diagonal slice. As his feet caught up with the rest of his body, Seiji shifted his weight leaning off to the right. Mid way through his attack, he shifted hands, breifly letting go of his katana to reach and grap with the other. Rather than taking hold of it upright he grasped at the Dite, taking hold in a new manner, gripping it much in a way that one would hold a battle dagger, thumb facing the bottom of the hilt and the blade the opposite direction. Securing his grip, Seiji turned his wrist slightly bringing the blade horizontal once more for the rest of his slash. As one foot settled firmly onto the ground, the other pushed off, causing Seiji to spin and pull through with his katana.

User ImageAnd that smile was all he needed, glancing down as she dropped off her stuff. He pulled off his shirt over his head, his new body similar to his last one. More sinewy than muscles. Then again, his muscles were just a bit more apparent. He dropped off his shirt as well, stretching his arms up with a yawn. Still a bit sleepy... This would probably change that.

Watching her slip into the water, he chuckled, her deep voice hilarious to him. He never had seen many movies or musicals or anything really so the reference was lost to him. It was still amusing though! He stepped into the pool and shivered slightly, it was a bit cool for him. Or well, not that he truly felt it. One could only notice so much when you were in a shell. As soon as he had stepped in, he ducked under the water to submerge his whole body, just so there wouldn't be any gradual adjustment to the cold. Better to just go all in. He walked through the water to her, at one point allowing his legs to bend and moved his arms, testing to see if he did remember how to swim.

User ImageVira giggled and nodded, pointing up to the roof of the academic building, at the highest point. "I can usually be found up there in the mornings. Or flying. Have to be in the right mood to take my perch here." She told him, realizing it was a bit of a pain to get to, but well... that was where she normally ended up. It allowed her to observe people without having to get too close.

Her stomach growled rather loudly in complaint which made her blush and suddenly find her lap to be very interesting, her shoulders shrugging up a bit. "Hehe... Glad you do though. I don't mind eating alone, but..." She looked up to him a bit shyly, a very sweet smile on her lips if not a bit embarrassed. "It's nice to have company." She added in a softer voice, suddenly sliding off the branch, fixing her skirt as she did. With that she looked up to him, golden eyes bright once more as her blush had faded for the most part, spinning on her one foot as she took a step towards the cafeteria.

"They usually let me grab something and come back outside, I'm sure they'd let you to. You probably ended up stuck inside there, didn't you? I bet it was boring." She thought she'd extend that offer since it did occur to her that most students had been in there. Minus the ones that had been at the lake during the whole ordeal.

User ImageInteresting, different stance now. Prepare for more intricate attack. Spinning her scythe in her hand, she readjusted her grip, her knee's bending with his. Tilting her scythe at a diagonal, she blocked his initial blow, stepping to the right to deflect some of the force. With that, she crossed feet and stood back where she began, almost in the same position. Switched his grip, ambidextrous with his weapon. Good thing to know. New grip as well. She twirled her scythe one foot stepping back to put her in a lunge as he spun towards her with his slash. Her feet dug into the ground as their weapons collided, holding the pole steady.

Her one foot dug more into the ground as she suddenly pushed forward with a surprising amount of force, darting forward with a diagonal upward slice with merely the top of her blade, the point still aimed back towards herself. As it reached the top of her swing, the head suddenly shot off and she spun it in the air, bringing it down upon him on a curve. If she needed to, she could pull it back quickly, now jumping back as the blade whistled down towards him.

User ImageFollowing to where she pointed, Hyunn's eyes looked to the building rising up to look towards the roof. Made sense, probably pretty quiet on a rooftop. He'd know where to look from now on. It'd be pretty easy to see a girl soaring through the sky if she wasn't on the roof. "Alright then. I'm...well usually just wandering around, so I'll come find you. Unless you happen to see me." He never really had one spot he liked to go to. Just where ever there was someone around.

An empty stomach would always let you know when it was hungry. He didn't know why she was embarassed but he wasn't going to bring it up. "Well, I'd be glad to have breakfast with you. Or lunch, which ever it would be." He wasn't going to break off the conversation so suddenly. That seemed like a stupid thing to do. They were getting along so well after all. If he left her now what was he going to do aside from wander some more?

Watching her jump down and start to head off, he followed suit. Pushing off with his hands as he dropped down, landing calmly as he dusted off and stretched for a moment, letting out a small moan as he stretched. He finally started off after her, taking a few quick steps to catch up. "Good. I think I spent enough time in there yesterday. You can't imagine how many people can actually fit in there." Hyunn was glad to hear they'd probably let him eat outside. Though after yesterday's events they might let everyone do so. "If it'd been only a couple hours I wouldn't have minded, but it was like being quarantined in there."

User ImageFaster. She could handle these types of moves no problem. It was no problem for Seiji to plant his other foot down as Ranka countered his blows and pushed forward. Seiji's heels pressed further in as their weapons met, his eyes glancing to her hand positions on the scythe. Feeling her push once more, Seiji did not resist the push, but instead took a couple steps back to readjust. With his grip as it was, he couldn't use as much power, let alone use both hands.

Speed and agility were his best assets using this style. Honestly, they normally were anyway. Seiji's breathing had picked up by now, having done so many movements. But his pace didn't show any signs of slowing for the moment. As Ranka's blade came near one leg slid back, the other bending as he tilted his head to duck beneath the attack. The change in the weapon caught him off guard, but he managed to roll away in time to avoid being hit. Coming back to his feet, Seiji took a few steps back to observe the weapon. More range, that would put him at a disadvantage unless he stayed very close to her. Unless he made an adjustment of his own, though in such an open area he wasn't sure if that was a good idea.

User ImageVira grinned and nodded once, knowing she'd probably spot him first if she was flying. Or well, considering how she was often distracted by the sprites she might now. They'd find each other though, she'd make sure to pay a bit more attention.

Laughing lightly, she brushed some hair from her eyes, thinking over the time. "Hmm, brunch. We'd be having brunch I'd say." She confirmed, starting off once he had jumped out of the tree as well. No sense moving too far ahead after all.

Hmm, she did try to picture that. Yeesh that would have been a tight fit. God.. she wouldn't have been able to take it. Shuddering at the image, a memory flashed in her head and she involuntarily winced, glad that her hair was long enough to hide her back for the most part. "I bet it was horrible. Like stuffed into a can of sardines. I'm glad I decided not to go out and help instead. Sorry you all had to be in there." She looked back to him with a small frown, not walking too fast since she was enjoying the warmth of the sun.

User ImageRanka tugged on the chain, the length shortening as she spun it closer to her body, the movement a blur at her right side. Initially she hadn't planned on revealing this about her weapon just yet, but it was good to see how he'd be able to handle such surprises. Giving the chain a bit more oomph, she threw it out again, now starting to run to the left as it swung around towards his right side. She did lower her defenses a bit by doing this, but she could handle it. And it wasn't like she cared if she won or lost. The head of the scythe came around, seeming to initially be aimed at his side before she flicked her wrist a bit, now shooting towards his legs.

User ImageBrunch. Yeah that was about right. He wasn't really one for technical terms, but he didn't mind either. Food was food to him, no matter the time of day. Then again on those late nights he couldn't exactly get a whole lot in the way of variety. Someone should be paid to run the cafeteria at night. It'd make for a good midnight snack, that was for sure. "Brunch it is then. I wonder if they'll still have the breakfast foods out or if they've moved on by now."

So, she had been one of the people out by the lake then. Where all the commotion had occured. He couldn't imagine trying to fight off something like that, whatever it had been. With his abilities he wouldn't stand a chance anyway. The only thing he was good for was distracting girls. Though that too might come in handy some day. "Exactly like sardines." He replied. "We were all glad to get out of there when we finally did. You're lucky you weren't stuck in there. Way too many bodies for once place."

User ImageHe'd have to be very weary of that chain. Aside form more range, the chain would also be used for offense or defense. He'd have to move quickly if he wanted to get in close. No chance for that at the moment though. Ranka was already on the offensive again. He watched as the scythe came forward, ready to move as he judged Ranka's movements. He didn't like having to wait until the last second but he had little choice. With as much range as she had now, Seiji had to be careful. As the scythe honed in on him, Seiji leapt into the air once more, his feet high above his head again as he watched the pale girl move.

Landing and starting forward at a run, Seiji kept a firm grip on his katana, still holding it much like a dagger. He'd managed to evade the scythe for the time being, but being on a chain meant Ranka could retract it at any moment. Now might be his only chance to try and get in close. The aura flashed for a moment as the Psyharden's speed seemed to increase, getting closer and closer. He didn't know what he'd do when he finally reached her, but had to at least try and close the gap between them. Honestly, he was expecting her to retract the blade before he even reached her.

User ImageNow that was a good point, she wondered if they would have. "I hope not. I'm so very partial to pancakes." She said with a slight pout, the breeze gusting past them, blowing her hair to the side. He'd be able to see some scars crisscrossing over her skin, some appearing as if the wound had been deeper than others. It wasn't pretty to say the least. She just hoped he hadn't noticed in the amount of time he would have been able to. Though.... it probably had been long enough.

Smirking, she nodded once and looked back to him, soon stepping in the doorway. "Oh I know. The control on my powers probably would have been lost and it could have been... Really bad. Not pretty to say the least." She gave a nervous smile, glancing over to where the food was. They did still have breakfast stuff laid out, Vira jumping up in excitement before she ran over, receiving a plastic plate from the woman behind the counter. They chatted for a bit and she grabbed what she wanted to. Which was two pancakes, a piece of sausage, some scrambled eggs, a few pieces of fruit, and a bottle of flavored water. She waited for him by the door once she was done, humming happily to herself.

User ImageGood, he jumped as expected. With that, Ranka flicked her wrist again, the blade soaring upward as it drew close. Maneuvering it, she managed to keep it airborne for a bit longer before she began to retract it. She blinked, he had begun to run faster. Her lips tightened a bit and she suddenly pulled her pole at an angle, the blade coming up swiftly behind him.

Now that her scythe was at an angle, the base suddenly shot out towards him, aiming for his ankles as she tightened her grip on the chain that bound the blade of her scythe to the pole. Flicking it upwards, she avoided hitting him, now spinning it with expertise as she flicked the bottom chain in an aim to wrap around his ankles. Not really staying put to see if she succeeded or not, she suddenly broke into a run towards him. Then she jumped high into the air, at least four stories up, snapping the head of her scythe to the pole, her main grip now on the base chain. Effectively, she had jumped over him, landing lightly on her feet. With a couple of flicks of her wrist, she whipped the base out towards him, the intricate shape still dangerous even if it wasn't initially made sharp.

User Image"Pancakes...sounds good." He'd have to get some when they got there, that was if they still had them out. As the gust of wind blew, he couldn't help but look, his eyes catching sight of the scars. Scars? What from he wondered. Something had to have happened so scars like that, an accident maybe? It wasn't for him to ask, it was her body after all. Whatever had happened, it was probably a painful memory she wouldn't want to talk about. His eyes quickly looked up as he noticed her turning, smiling to cover any suspicion.

"Well, no worries there on my part" He commented, his powers weren't exactly something to fear if he was downed or panicked. He could only imagine what sort of havoc the sprites could get up to if they felt like it. "Though I guess it's a bit of a good thing then right?" Danger or danger, the options weren't exactly favourable, even if it was in the past. As they reached the cafteria, Seiji was delighted to see the pancakes sitting about. Filling his own plate with pancakes and nothing but, he made sure to load them up with syrup before getting some apple juice and heading off toward Vira. "They say breakfast is the most important part of the day." He said aloud as he looked over his food hungrily.
